The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 of this event runs until March 7th…when Act 2 will start.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly (ie neighbor actions, gamblers to tap, crafting etc). Just look for the Gold Token Icon 
in your task bar. Any tasks you see associated with that icon are related to the event. So, if you’re stuck…keep going until you no longer see that token.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to build your own mini Vegas in your pocket-sized Springfield…

Make Adults Get a Free Drink- x4. 6s, Earns $35,1xp freemium and $50, 2xp premium.
Completing this starts the unlock process for the event. This will show you the prize track and new items in the store.

Complete a Casino Daily Challenge- There are Casino themed Daily Challenges that’ll appear in your Daily Challenge Box. Once you see/complete one of those that’ll clear this task. For my challenge I had to send a character to the Casino. It paid coaster crafting currency. Don’t worry about this too much. It won’t hinder your progress if it takes a bit to complete.

I really just don’t know the point good getting chips. I get the unlocking of items for eating chips, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with all the chips I’ve accumulated? Or is there no point aside from the things you unlock upon earning them?
Chips (red, green etc) are for prizes. Gold tokens are for playing games. Those are the only purposes of those items.

My new B game is only level 14, so I do not have Marge or Moe. I no longer have any “the old man and the ‘sino” quests showing. I think I completed without Smithers, but would I need Marge to proceed beyond that point?
Yes, most likely, since she’s unlocked at Level 15. Keep plugging away you should unlock them soon.
Smithers isn’t triggering in pt.8 I didn’t have Smithers when the Casino Quests startend. Does somebody expierience this too? Do you know what I can do?

I apologize if I am overlooking the answer to my question in a previous post or comment.
At the Burns’ Casino, I have some premium characters earning rewards there. Before buying these premium characters, the game said they would earn EXTRA rewards. Yet they still earn only 110 chips and 1 token just like the non premium characters for 4 hour tasks. What am I not understanding?

Right now the payout is the same for everyone…
By extra they probably meant instead of 5 characters you’ll have 6.
I didn’t habe Smithers yet, when the Event startend. Now that I have him he won’t go on with the Casino tasks. Nothing seems to be triggering him.

I do not get any chips by tapping gamblers in my neighbours springfields after I reach the 2 friendpoints for each tap. Is it normal that it stops after 30 friends a day?
Yes – max of 90 friend actions per day.
I seem to stop at 89 every day. Either that or I keep miscounting by the same amount every day.
Yes. The total number of friend given tokens is capped. This has always be the case, only the number of visits vary very slightly.

You can acquire coasters via tapping on gamblers or playing at Moe’s.

Krusty won’t go to the casino. Everyone else can do that quest line but not Krusty, why?

You earn them at Gaming Moe’s whenever you don’t win. Just keep spinning those reels and it’ll complete. If you don’t want to wait, just click the X on the task for a different one.
