Bouncing by with some help and clarifications on the main “issues” and questions we are seeing during the new Casino Event.
In this post, I am going to go over and Clarify WHY you see TWO Chips Totals in your game as you progress. There is not an issue, nothing is wrong, just a way of EA telling you how much you have for specific areas.

So there’s another update in the App Store for iOS only. (at least I believe it’s iOS only, I see nothing in Android) This update SHOULD fix the missing game issue if you were playing anonymously. However, it’s only going to fix the issue if you haven’t updated yet. If you’ve already lost your game, I believe it’s gone. You can still try to contact EA, but I do think it’s gone.
HOWEVER…if you’ve lost your game there is an alternate solution…there’s a great post on Reddit by Addicts reader skitch…it’s step by step instructions on how to restore your game if you played anonymously and had an Apple Backup. Check it out here
Also..please, please, PLEASE take this as a warning (whether you play on iOS or Android) and create an EA/Origin account if you haven’t already done so. Don’t risk this happening again. Creating an account helps prevent issues with your game should you need to uninstall TSTO on your device to correct an issue. It also prevents your down from completely disappearing…not only from issues like what happened yesterday, but also if something happens to your phone/device. Also, creating an account allows you to add friends in TSTO as well as play your game across different devices.
I know there are some of you who don’t want to create an account because you don’t “trust” EA with your info. Honestly all you need to create an account is an email address, that’s it. So if you have “trust” issues, make an email address to use just for TSTO and don’t use your real name for it. That way your personal info stays private and your game is backed up.
For those of you that don’t know how to create the account, I’ll be updating this post with instructions on how to create the EA/Origin account..I just need to grab some screenshots. So give me a bit and you’ll see step by step instructions on how to do so. 🙂

Are you feeling lucky? It’s time to roll the dice cause mama needs a new pair of shoes…as the new Casino update hits our TSTO games!
The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 of this event runs until March 7th…when Act 2 will start.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly (ie neighbor actions, gamblers to tap, crafting etc). Just look for the Gold Token Icon 
in your task bar. Any tasks you see associated with that icon are related to the event. So, if you’re stuck…keep going until you no longer see that token.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to build your own mini Vegas in your pocket-sized Springfield…

Game Reset Back to Level 1 Info: If you did not have an EA/Origin Account we’re seeing LOADS of reports of this update completely erasing your game because you were playing anonymously. If that’s you and you didn’t have an EA/Origin Account, your game is most likely completely lost. You can try to contact EA and see if they can restore it for you, but I doubt it’ll happen.

It’s time for a little gambling in Springfield, as the Casino updated teased on Facebook last night, has arrived on our devices!
This is an APP STORE update. So check out your App Store to make sure you’re on the latest version. If you don’t see the update try hard closing and restarting and/or restarting your device. Again it’s an APP STORE update, so you’ll have to pick it up from your App Store updates.
Currently it’s live on iOS..everyone else should see it soon. It’s currently live on iOS, Android and Kindle!
It starts off with some dialogue from Quimby…and you’ll need 4 Springfielders free for a 6s task. I’ll be back with more as i go through it…
Update on the Update: 3:15 pm EST…so there’s an update on the server. It has not hit yet, but expect this to hit today. 🙂

So…here is your Open Thread. The Simpsons are back this week with an all new episode! Are you excited for the new episode? Valentine’s Day ended in Springfield earlier this week, did you manage to unlock Mona? And in it’s place we got some new “busy work” in TSTO…in the form of the Redwood Tree. What are your thoughts on the Redwood Tree? What do you think will be next in TSTO?
Baseball is back! As teams reported to Spring Training this past week…I know i’m excited!
Anyone else a child of the 80s and 90s? If you are, are you just as excited about Fuller House as I am? Seriously thinking about binge watching it on Friday! (yes I know I’m a nerd…have you not figured that out already? 😉 )
