Viva Las Springfield! The Casino Event has arrived in Springfield…and it’s full of Vegas inspired decorations, buildings and games!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Red Chips (
) to unlock each prize!
The first Act 1 prize awarded at 6,800 is Burns’ Fountain…because every Casino should have a fancy fountain out front…
So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 6,800 you’ll automatically be awarded Burns’ Fountain and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield Immediately or Store it in your inventory for later. Remember, if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to place it in Springfield later…
REALLY IMPORTANT: The Burns’ Fountain awards 120 
. However, you MUST place it in your Springfield in order to get credit for 120 . If you store it in your inventory immediately and don’t place in Springfield you won’t get credit for the Club Cards. You’ll get credit once you place it. So don’t think just because you stored it you’ll never get the Club Card Points. Just place it in Springfield and the points will be awarded to you.
Once placed in Springfield the Fountain has some dialogue that pops up:
Lisa: They say if you throw a coin in the Burns Fountain and make a wish…your coin will be used to fund a pro-nuclear industry Super PAC.
And that’s it. No tasks associated with it, and no additional tasks to help you earn more . Simply place and that’s it.

Mine had to go next to Burns Manor. I love the first season episode where Marge gets drunk and dances around it
So What is going on.. Had 1400/1405 club card points. Got that Brittannia building and realised no club card points were given for that and now I have 1380 club card points.
Kinda mad. Might just toss the game to bin.
You need to place and build the casino in order to get the points.
I like this event. Love the slot machines especially..

are the Game Tokens going to be used throughout the event or just in the first act? if they are going to be used for all three acts, it might be better to hoard the tokens after getting Lucious and save the bonut getting for the last act.
That’s what I’m doing. Based on the three different colored chips in the friends menu… it’s a safe guess that we have red for Act I, and then green for II, and blue for III. I plan on splurging all my tokens once Act II starts to get a jump on the next group of prizes.

I’m just working on my town now waiting on part 2 of next week. Built a sin city sign with burning bushes and walk of stars. My front half of my town will be a casino after completion.
The fountain also makes a…fountain…sound when tapped lol. Now get cracking on the new content that was just released Alissa! 😉

well at least i just leveled my tree up to level 10…140 more fertilizer and that stupid icon can disappear from my task bar lol
Unless Lisa is no longer needed in act 2 (and 3) that icon is going to be in my task book until the event ends!
Thankfully I have Jesse…i’ve just been using him (until now cause I want the stinkin thing gone lol)
I’m 20 away from level 6. I need Lisa earning chips now so who knows when I’m gonna get back to it.
I have Jesse…he’s been doing it exclusively since. I kept Lisa at the Casino until now, Level 10, because I just want it to be done lol
Ahhh nice. Jesse is super helpful for a few things, don’t really like his character though so I never bought him. His protest task is awesome though 🐄
I’m not a fan either…but he’s paid for himself already just from post Monorail event stuff (even though I no longer grind at the rail yard because I feel I have enough tracks)
I haven’t done any railyard tasks since the event ended. The tracks obscure my town too much and I’m not a fan of grinding lol.
We’re in agreement there. I thought about picking up Jesse to help with the tree, but 100 donuts for a character I’m not too particularly fond of seemed a bit much. Then I thought, well if I just used him to help on the rail yard a few weeks that would offset the cost a bit. But, in the end, I decided to forgo the grind and I’m fine with having the tree in my task bar for a while. Guess I’m not as OCD about that as some folks, right Alissa? 😉

Because there are a lot of options to earn chips…most players are at Magic Act Millhouse or just past.

No, she does not. Just a questline, but no casino event rewards (just as Magician Millhouse and Lucius). But is now for half the price, comes with casino event skin and purchasing her now gives you Players Club Cards.
In fact she comes with 2 questlines – one for Miss Springfield and one for her costumed self. But no event currency earning other than initial club cards for purchasing.
