Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Viva Las Springfield! The Casino Event has arrived in Springfield…and it’s full of Vegas inspired decorations, buildings and games!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Red Chips (
) to unlock each prize!
The fifth, and final, Act 1 prize awarded at 101,200 (or +29,600 from the Britannia Casino) is Lucius Sweet…because it’s not Vegas without a prize fight and it’s promoter…
So let’s take a closer look at this fourth and final prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 101,200 (or +29,600 from the Britannia Casino) you’ll automatically be awarded Lucius Sweet and you’ll see this message popup:
You’ll have the ability to place Lucius or store him. If you store him you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve him. IMPORTANT: There’s a glitch going around with the Club Cards being awarded with Lucius. If you store him first you won’t be awarded the Club Cards. So my advice, if you haven’t gotten him yet, is DO NOT STORE HIM. Place him, get your cards and then store him (if you want to). If you’ve already won him and weren’t awarded the cards (after you’ve placed him in Springfield), contact EA.
Once you place him you’ll see his character unlock message:

. You’ll see these appear after you’ve unlocked him and cleared the Character Unlock and Character Set screens.

What’s Next?
Well you’ve now finished Act 1! Now it’s time for those Bonuts!
YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) are present for Act 1. Once you have collected the 101,200 Total 
Red Chips needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift. High Roller Bonus
Once you reach the 8500 extra Red Chips, the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.
Remember Act 2 Starts on Monday March 7th…

No. No character is worth 400 donuts.
Haha I was just staring at the screen, like holy hell, what is this. I totally slacked off this past weekend and missed him. I paid 40 for the Brittania, and I was bitter about that.. It is pretty though. 😉
IF you want to splash out a lot of donuts go for the whale (I didn’t). This will give you a decent bonus percentage.
Meehhhh. Digital content. 400 donuts is a lot. If he came w a building a skin and maybe 150 back along with those percentages, then MAYBE. That’s a tough bullet to bite. I play TQFS as well.. I’ve bitten many a bullet over there LOL I did take the Miss Springfield deal, because I didn’t have her yet, I just wish there was an option to purchase the Gold Diggers sign for people who didn’t already have her in game..
I really like how TSTO is formatted and runs.. I hear they are amping up on the events, which I’m game for.. But we’ll see. They seem much more freemium friendly, and I don’t mind dropping some donuts.. I also do the grind, I just fall off the wagon occasionally, like most people when life happens. Really looking forward to refocusing on games. Of course I’m splitting time, sort of, right now, The Princess Bride is happening over at TQFS and I must have Buttercup! 😀👑

stink, missed out on lucius, grind grind grind, it was all too much, so many tasks, the big tree thing, monorail dounts (metal recycling tasks, constantly, no bottles or plastics, what gives?) plus I have work like normal people, dear me… a real stinker. awwwwww, me wants lucius (not for 80Ds though, yeesh).
Oh boy just got Mr. Sweet with 28 seconds to go wow crazy I grinned it. But I got him wahoo……. thanks to Moe’s slot machines lol…. Now starting to get the green chips
This event has been the worst for me not even close to getting the casino. Big disappointment.
This event is so far the one where it’s been easiest to earn donuts. I just passed a total of 153.000 chips and completed my sixth bonus turnin. I have six characters working at the casino and in average I had them complete their tasks five times a day I guess. I only visited my neigbours two or three days (don’t remember it exactly). If I wasn’t to lazy to visit them each day I would easily have been able to reach seven bonus hand ins … I’m looking forward to see if the next round is gonne be equaly fast to complete, making it possible for me to make another 18-21 donuts from bonus hand ins.
And before any of you ask – NO, I don’t use cheatcodes, buy donuts to get chips or any thing like that. I just tap regularly.
A bit of topic … why the hell does it have to be so expencive to try another box if you only get one or two donuts?
This casino update is so difficult. The grinding required is like no other event that I can remember. I missed two days and am 8000 away from lucius. I know it is just a game but it is also time spent, and i would like to feel more accomplished than this
You can’t complain coming up short when you admit that you missed two days in a game that requires you to play daily for maximum payouts, yo.
Don King (erm, I mean Lucious Sweet) is only missing one task – shredding through a buffet faster than humanly possible (lol – we have an expression here in Las Vegas when you want someone to hurry up, ” make like Don King in a buffet!’) 🙂
something is borked on this event, at least for my game. I had 33 times on dice where I lost on dice and just now I hit 3 Barneys (either true Barneys or by tapping) 11 times in a row. But either way, this is the first time after playing my usual game, and I play a lot, that I missed completing a level. I don’t care about Lucius that much, at least for my game, this event is definitely not working like the others. Perhaps the gold coins are truly random? That way it would make sense that some winner and some loser would happen.
Workaround for the Glitch:
Open the store menu
tap on the gold statue in the lower left corner of the screen to open the Character Collections screen
scroll all the way to the end to Casino Entertainers and tap it.

I should have been close to Lucius by now, but probably won’t get him at all because for the past day or two the number of gamblers and tokens has slowed to a crawl. It’s fixed this morning and I’m seeing normal numbers of both gamblers and token drops. Has anybody else experienced this? Am on an iPhone and check very frequently since I’ve been working on railyard donuts with half my can recycling crew on the casino (just got them, whew). I wondered if I was hallucinating until it was suddenly fixed, so I definitely wasn’t imagining it.
Will it be possible to reach lucius sweet if I have 5600 chips on the way to him? I have 20 hours left. Second question is act 2 gonna start right away the timer hits 0? Because I think sometimes I get a little bit more time don’t know why.
Act 2 will start as soon as the timer hits 0. The only time you get that extra time is the end of an event when an app store update is required to remove the event. When changing from one act to another it’s preprogrammed and no update is required. So it starts as soon as the timer ends..
Tokens will carry over thru to the next act yes? I have 80 awaiting deployment until act 2 🙂
I didn’t realize there was an event going on until my game told me I needed to update. It was already 4 days into it at that point. I just started working on Lucius today so I don’t think it’s possible to earn him. I was hoping to at least get him down to like 50 donuts but I don’t think that’s possible. I might just have to miss out on him 🙁
I have a quick question. If you have all the prizes and have tokens left will they be able to be used once act 2 starts??

No. There is a different color of tokens in act 2.
I was pretty relaxed about this event up until the last few days when I realized that I wasn’t going to get Lucius Sweet. Since then I’ve been grinding like a madwoman and I should get him sometime tomorrow. Lesson Learned: Don’t save grinding for the end.
I was exactly the same! Had a couple of busy days and was only logging on twice a day and suddenly I was behind on Bunny’s calendar which has never happened in an event to me before. The post on strategies and relaxing really helped and I should get Lucius in a few hours. I’ve never cut it so close to the wire before!
I’m going to try to stick to the calendar more closely for Acts 2 and 3. I just got Lucius. Good luck!
Was 4 days late to the event and even then thought I was going to pull it off, but that patch on friday seemed to have gimped the coin drops from gamblers. Day and half left with 18,000 chips to go to get Lucius, being a Vegas event, I like my odds (and the fact I have 170 donuts I can use to Get it now if i run out of time)
Ok, im at 114555 red chips, 4805/8500, 4225, also 2 boxes away from lvl 2 crafting, should i save my gold coins for next acy or try to get the 2nd round bonuts?
Also, what am i doin wrong on crafting, i mean, i got all lvl one crafts just 1 time, i didnt max em out…
That’s up to you. What is more important? A couple donuts? Or a Head start on Act 2? What you craft will depend on YOUR play and YOUR material drops. It all varies.

I didn’t get my 595 club card points when I won Lucius. Any idea how to get them?

I havent gotten them either. I emailed EA, and their response was “You will be awarded the points after you take him out of inventory” I’ve tried everything i can think of, and i cant trigger it to get the points. I’m emailing them again now.
I heard that if you go into the character collections (go to inventory and the gold statue bottom left corner) scroll all the way to the end for casino performers view them and then exit, you’ll get your points. I don’t personally know this works, but you can try it.
I’m told that the solution is the same one you use if you buy Chippy:
Open the store menu

Thank you for this advice Kelly and ellieg40395, worked a treat for me! I had even read the advice not to store Lucius before getting him. But I went into my game and collected some tokens which pushed me over the total without realising – Lucius popped up and I was tapping so quickly that my finger went on Store. 🙁 Luckily I followed your advice and now have the club card points!

I have 74,000 red chips and 40 tokens. Should I use the slot machine or play dice to maximize my winnings, or do I have no chance at winning Lucius Fox at this point? I need ~27,000 chips in 36 hours. 🙁

Guys, i need help.. Ok, im on my second round of bonuts and i bought all of the lvl 1 craft stuff, im not even say 3/4 to lvl 2 in crafting.. whats wrong? I play all da time, i even got the 2x neighbors bonus…. Am i ok or should i be worryin?

Yeah, I love this event, one of the best since last years Halloween. (Though I really enjoyed the space mini event).
I’ve been rebuilding my Springfield hights into a giant Vegas strip. Knowing there will be even more casino’s down the line (the craftable one and Homers house of cards). I bought the floating casino boat, the Indian casino and the Springfield “Vegas” sign and the Springfield motel with hostess miss Springfield. One question though, is there any way for me to get the golddiggers sign? I don’t mind paying a few donuts for it, but I didn’t already have miss Springfield so even though I got a really good deal, I didn’t get the sign.
