I think NPCs are a personal decision no matter what kind of player you are. Some of you love them and some think they’re useless. I’m in the in-between camp. There are some NPCs I love (like Freedom the Falcon) and some I stay far away from (like Mutant Veggies from Terwilligers). It all comes down to what you like or don’t like. Don’t weigh it based on the 1 free token each day…those are pretty easy to come by. 1 really isn’t going to make or break you…
I can tell you I’m 99.9% sure I’ll be passing on Chippy. Of course in the end it’s your decision. Just make sure you make your final decision before Chippy leaves our games on March 12th.

Bought chippy through yearbook and he doesn’t just walk around. Now that the event has passed, chippy gives money every day. It’s like a walking building.
Chippy is not only fun to tap – every now and then he pays out long after the event. I think he might be on a timer, maybe at least a week between? Hard to tell, because he just might be caught in a crowd of tappables most of the time. But the last time I caught him alone so I was sure it was from him, I think I saw at least $4700 fly out of him (I have 1000% bonus, though). Anyway, he coughs up a lot more than the leprechauns and is so cheerful.
I thought I accidentally tapped one of the Spluckler children on my quietly traveled boardwalk this morning, but there was Xp as well as a cash pay out and Chippy was the only one in that space…
I wasn’t aware of it paying out before but I shall continue to keep it out from the inventory box and hope to get a screen grab next time.
it freaked me out a little so searched here to see if I wasn’t crazy. It’s moments like these that makes the search bar on this app/blog very very helpful.
I do have a screen shot (a couple actually) looks like $1000 cash (plus bonuses) , I was mistaken that there isn’t XP (as far as I noticed) . Not sure of the frequency. But it is a NPC worth leaving out of the inventory box.
I bought him right away and have no regrets! He’s so cute!
Are the tokens sticking around for act 3 or is ea going to pull that plug like they did in the last event?

He’s cute and funny, but just one token a day? Pass.
I got him right away. He give a casino chip every day, and also he looks like a peppermint, my favorite candy. The 60 club card points don’t hurt, either.
Seems like there are a number of people who bought him and now regret it. Count me one of them.

I got him just because I was planning on getting everything else and it would bother me knowing I was only one character away from the character collection for this event. Plus I thought he’d give out more chips than just one crappy token a day – so basically just a cure for a minor case of OCD.
This was a total pass for me. Now that I’ve been playing a while, I have begun passing on more and more premium content, especially if it offers no real benefit to the game. I’ve gotten some of the Halloween NPCs, sort of on a brain stem impulse at the time. The only NPC I *always* have out is the Twonicorn. LOVE IT. (Well, technically the Leprechaun, the Yupprechaun, and Spuckler kids are NPCs, too, I suppose. But at least they offer a benefit of some kind.)
I bought him, looks funny. I would have expected that there would be a green and blue one.
I wish that after the event is over, that you could tap him and he would change color.
