It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Open Thread. No new Simpsons tonight, but we did get a holiday inspired update this past week. What are your thoughts on St. Easter?
Casino Act 3 started earlier this week, how are you doing on the prize track? Liking the Act 3 prizes?

Hi all am re doing my game as i blow my town up again lol. i say again as its not the 1st time hehehe. i am level 59 and i have loads of items as i have been playing for years. i am however a bit ocd with my game i like to have sections. i got a few of my ideas from here. but wondering if anyone can help me with ideas like Halloween section Easter section love section duff section. posh side and so on so on. if anyone could share there ideas with me i would be very great full. XxX
Many of the love items can be used in Krustyland. If you have the Tunnel of Love, you could make a “Loveland”. Although many people don’t visit their Krustyland, it is a good place to use some objects or ideas that don’t quite fit in Springfield.

Having a great time with all the public holidays (bank holidays?) recently. Monday (21/03) was a public holiday as it was my mother’s birthday (though some mistakenly call it Human Rights Day 😄) followed by Easter so we’ve had a three day week which will followed by a four day week – nice!
And at the end of the month it happens again when we have a public holiday to celebrate my father’s birthday (27/04 – also sometimes called Freedom Day) followed by Workers Day (01/05).
I like this time of year!

As the week comes to a close, I have to say I am moved by the compassion I see from everyone here. When one person says they’re hurting or worried about something or struggling with a problem, the entire community rushes to give them virtual hugs and support. Sure, there are some debates (I won’t mention the great comma controversy–although as an editor, I *was* on Sandra’s side), but even those are respectful. I find this site to be filled with (and run by) kind, big-hearted people. It’s a welcome respite from the big bad world. 😉 Thank you! <3

Thank you Patty and welcome to our crazy lil world. We do support each other, it’s been an unusual couple of weeks lots of pep going through weird stuff. We do have a lot of fun, plus get great tips. A lot of us our “neighbor’s” so we get to see each other towns, most of us don’t mind “borrowing ideas”😉.
Another cool thing is get to hear all about the world out there, not the bad stuff just how other people live in other countries. We talk about tragedy too but in general try to keep it a little on lite side. This is a great place to hang and get to know other people who play the game.
Our hosts Alissa, Bunny and Wookiee are awesome, very knowledgeable about the game, more than generous with their time, we try to get them to take weekends off, so once in awhile, they just pass comments through and let us run wild, kind of lol, no politics, controversial comments and PG. other than that pretty much everything goes in open threads section. Other section we try to stay on that topic, but open thread is open all week.

Was 86 (f) today, a lil windy. Managed to get in pool and clean most of mess from broken screen out, it was disgusted, but still felt nice. We will see how it looks tomorrow, couldn’t even see bottom when I got out , ewwwwww!

Better than earlier this week!
It was hard only having one day off this week….I had so much “personal” stuff to do yesterday that I was up until after 1:00 am doing it (which meant I couldn’t fall asleep until around 2 and didn’t sleep too well the first part of the night).
But I’ll know better how I’m feeling after I do my work today….if it goes well, it will be a relief. If it doesn’t, I’m kinda screwed. I also have a big meeting first thing Monday that I’m kind of dreading (both having a meeting first thing Monday morning AND having *that* particular meeting).
So, I’m gonna relax and watch Face the Nation and then get to work…wish me luck! 🙂

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for Monday.
As for relaxing, how can you relax to face the nation? Our political country is driving me crazy right now. I’m still working my way through what I have on DVR before we switch characters, so on Dr Who binge, only have 1& 1/2 episodes till I’m done with The Doctor!
I have new internet company coming and new cable company this week, so we will see how that goes, seems like there are always “bugs” to work out, plus getting used to new system. I’m not as concerned about TV, just don’t screw up my wifi. However, wifi is a company we were with before and they were good, I didn’t want to leave them to began with. Change will save us about $150 month. We were in a bundle with a company that suck, they started at $99 now up to $290, no way I can afford that ridiculous amount when nothing has changed but their price, not to mention customer service sucks!
Let’s hope we both have a better week.

Well, it used to just be CBS Sunday Morning, which was my equivalent of reading the Sunday paper. That time was sacrosanct, as I like watching it in HD, which means I have to watch it live over the air (my TiVo is an old SD one, so I can’t watch HD on my cable). But then I started extending my Sunday lounging time and kind of got hooked on Face the Nation. While I agree that this political situation is awful, it’s also kind of fascinating and, most of all, it’s just nice hearing a bunch of intelligent, knowledgeable people really talking about this stuff, rather than the idiots or the ones that talk in empty sound bites. Mentally stimulating, which is a good segue from lounging to working.
Hi Sandra, I too am a big fan of Sunday morning, been watching for years? I call it my church lol. I watch following show sometimes, but lately tired in general about politics. During football season I use the break after Sunday morning and the fox pre game show for a swim or shower.
How did it go Monday? I still haven’t made my way through all comments so don’t know if you posted about Monday.
I honestly don’t remember Monday anymore…it seems like a long, long time ago. But, overall, this week was definitely a much better one than last week (still very exhausting, but not as emotional). And my most difficult customer *finally* gave me a clear idea of what she wanted (although I’ve now found a little hitch with that…she wants all of the images and text of the process to show up on one screen in the video (built gradually throughout the video), but I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve realized that there’s no way it’s all going to fit. I sent her an email about that, with a few possible solutions, but, although I know she saw the email (I set a watch on that), she hasn’t responded. So, unless she does before the end of today, I guess I won’t be working on her project this weekend!
But it’s not like I don’t have lots of other stuff to work on this weekend….haven’t decided for sure what I’m going to do on Sunday – on the one hand, I feel like I’ll regret losing a day in which I could make some progress, but, on the other hand, I’m getting really burnt out. It’s sad when my favorite time in the past few weeks was when I was too sick to work and took that nice 3-day “vacation” — I might have felt awful, but it was sooo nice to just lie there and do nothing more strenuous than watch TV for a few days.

My lil Hank had an allergy attack last night, middle of night or should I say early morning. Gave him his meds, he quit coughing, but was awake most of night, think he was scared, so guess who else got very lil sleep? Which hopefully will mean nice long nap.
Weather is nice with exception of wind so should be able to get in pool, high today 86 (f).

He is better think to much pollen! He had a great day as I was trimming plants back away from screen, then I was in pool. He managed to get wet and snag 2 lizards! Bogey has no interest what’s so ever in hunting he just lays with me and watches Hank like he is crazy.

Should I get either the duff brewery, cracker factory or Springfield museum? Thanks for anybody that is reading this on Friday! Happy good Friday and I hope everybody has a great Easter!!!
Depends what you like mostly, personally I’d pick Duff Brewery or Cracker Factory over the museum, as both come with a character and I don’t think the museum does (going by memory here, which is foggy at best) Between the first two, although I love anything Duff, Luann I believe also unlocks the Fleet-A-Pita questline, to unlock the busses also. Not to mention it gives Kirk a task at the cracker factory to make him premium.
Scratch that, Museum does come with a character, although I’d still pick Duff or Cracker Factory over it, personally.

Hey exnero547 , to answer your question . You have to go with Duff brewery . I believe it pays more / aka more jobs . But that’s just me, hopefully that helped some. Enjoy 🤘🏻

Take this with a grain of salt as I do NOT know if this was just a glitch, or an early prompt or what. Logging into TSTO today, Bluestacks gave me a prompt in the corner, Here’s some free donuts. Upon actually getting into my game, no donuts were added, and no in-game text/prompt saying so. So MIGHT happen, might not.

I’m probably done for the day, pushed my back too far this week.
Watching repeats of Supernatural and tapping. My gardener is here which is weird he never comes on Friday so me boys going crazy grrrr.I
I was thinking about church today (something I haven’t done in too many years) thought it might help my mood, but I don’t think I can get in Jeep, so stuck at home.
