Hey, there, fellow Tappers! We’re neck-deep in poker chips here in Springfield and our friends at EA are tempting us to spend something else that is small and round – DONUTS! There are several new and returning items in the store to tempt you, including Springfield Falls. Wanting to know if it is worth spending your precious donuts? Never fear, we are here to give you the run-down this gorgeous decoration!
Decoration: Springfield Falls
Donut Price: 90 Donuts
Bonus %: none
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Size: 12×8
Unique: Yes, only 1 per town
This is a returning premium item originally introduced way, way back in the spring of 2013 during an episode tie-in for “What Animated Women Want,” Season 24, Episode 17 (for those who want to know).
Pros:
-One of the most requested returning items in the history of the game
-Unique water feature for your town
-Looks awesome
-Animated (water flows down the falls and splashes at bottom)
Cons:
-Expensive for a decoration
-No bonus percentage or payout
-It’s pretty big
-Was previously free
Premium:
This is, without question, the most requested returning item in the game, which is probably why it costs as much as it does. That being said, IT’S ONE OF THE MOST REQUESTED RETURNING ITEMS IN THE GAME. Seriously, if you like this one and have ever wanted it, get it. You may never get another chance. This is the first time this has been offered for sale in the three years since it was originally released. Yes, it’s expensive and huge and offers no bonus, but it’s beautiful. Seriously, check out what Wookiee did with it in this design post (toward the bottom). I have been coveting the falls ever since I read it. I say, snatch it up!
Freemium:
It’s expensive and just a huge decoration that offers no advantage (no payout, no bonus percentage). Probably most freemium players will want to pass, unless you’re like me and have wished for this the entire time you’ve played the game.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I bought this immediately when I saw it was for sale. However, this IS a limited-time item. So if you’re thinking about getting it, make your final decision before it leaves our games on March 29.

I really hope they bring it back! Currently, I have the wildlife sanctuary being the start of my River, but it would be great to have two streams (one starting at the wildlife sanctuary and the other at Springfield Falls) meeting each other and widening the river!
It looks like they have added a 1.5% Bonus after the most recent Thanksgiving update.
I know a lot of people wanted this but honestlt, blowing 90 donuts for nothing? No player interaction or bonus! At least have the central characters go skinny dipping.

Not in my store. In the tree w/ a bench under it section of the store all the way left I have the Land Expansion thing & all the way right is Pow-Wow’s Casno sign. No falls anywhere.

If you have an origin account you could try a ininstall and reinstall, if that doesn’t work I’d contact EA then and let them know and see what they can do you.

I got it. This was something I really enjoyed seeing in friend’s towns. Placed mine right next to Springfield Gorge.
I’d like to see Radioactive Man return. Just missed him by a month or so.
Also the Alpha/Omega transporters that were up for an hour overnight around Thanksgiving.
And that black and white Homer Kong climbing the Empire State Building is cool too.
I didn’t have a new item notification so I almost missed it. Once again TSTO addicts to the rescue. I’m freemium but I have always wanted this to (jealous when I visit other springfields) – Not sure where or when but at least i got it.

Aouh. It’s not there either
It’s a little pricey for me as a non-completionist, semi-premium player. I like it and I think it would look great near my other outdoorsy/wooded/mountain stuff, but i’m not sure I like it for the price. Maybe though, we’ll see how bonuts go.
I think rivers linking to the sea would be a good feature.

I’ve wanted this as long as I’ve been playing, so snatched it as soon as I saw it! I buy items I like, don’t care who else has them or why. I just placed it by Springfield mountain for now, haven’t gotten around to figure out how it will fit in camping, forest, river area yet.
Same was with Father Sean I wanted him so bad in that unmentionable event that starts with an E, was so bummed as he was main thing I wanted so when he became available for purchase I snatched him right up also. Glad I did Brooders I hope he comes back for you. He is one of my favs.

Being freemium I still think this is awesome.
I’m biased though since I’m upper level with full neighbor’s and all the free characters except Paris Texan. Got most of the free ones from events also. (Sorry I’m not trying to brag. Just stating why I’m finding it easier to earn donuts).
In my mind there’s been tons of donuts to harvest between rail yard, neighbor visits, daily challenges, find mags, and event bonuts.
Of course if you’re a lower level player low on donuts without a lot of characters, not a lot of neighbors, and no rail yard then it really may be a really tough choice.
Seems like every time I get around 300 pink sprinklies there’s something cool offered up. I think I saved up around 320 or so when the Black Friday sale hit. Was so stoked to get Dr Nick then. (Hey everybody!).
I brought the supercollider thinking it came with the black hole but didn’t pay attention to the SIB.
My new must haves are the black hole, Guinea pig rescue, and the exploding zombie family. Really really want those exploding zombies. I spend so much time popping their heads during neighbor visits. Awesome animation and sounds. Maybe during next year’s THOH event??? Please please please. Oooh mr kotter. Oooh. Oooh. Please.

I will be going a total rework of my “woodsy” area soon. Now I need Catfish lake and General Sherman.
