Hey, hey, hey, fellow Tappers!
Viva Las Springfield! The Casino Event has arrived in Springfield…and it’s full of Vegas inspired decorations, buildings and games!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Blue Chips (
) to unlock each prize!
The first Act 3 prize awarded at 7,850 is Nero’s Palace Arch. Anyone else relieved those aren’t burning Christians on top?
So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 7,850 you’ll automatically be awarded Nero’s Palace Arch and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later. Remember, if you store it, you’ll have to go into your inventory to place it in Springfield later…
REALLY IMPORTANT: Nero’s Palace Arch awards 120
. However, you MUST place it in your Springfield in order to get credit for 120. If you store it in your inventory immediately and don’t place in Springfield you won’t get credit for the Club Cards. You’ll get credit once you place it. So don’t think just because you stored it you’ll never get the Club Card Points. Just place it in Springfield and the points will be awarded to you.
Once placed in Springfield, you’ll be able to purchase a new item in the store:
The walls cost $2,000 and impact Righteousness (+10 each wall), which is nice for a decorative wall.

I guess all I get to do now is collect bonus donuts now. Got Gabbo and Arthur a week a head of time. Thought it would take longer.
Has this being answered? I noted peacock casino and Vegas wives are still available for 7 days. However, the casino Acts menu says event ends in 6 days. I am concerned whether the items will be gone together with event. I am still in process of building donuts.
I’ve got to look into it. But for now trust what the timers are saying
I got a new visual task for McBain called “Go Undercover” … it’s pretty awesome… is that related to the event? Or did this just show up out of nowhere for me?

Are you still planning a SIB for the Peacock Lounge ? I’m need some advice If worth the Donuts or not 😁 Do you know if the Buildings are animated (lights) after the event ? That would make a major difference in the decision 🤔
I will…i have to write it up. I can tell you I purchased it. But it’s nothing crazy special, there is a task there for Mrs. Muntz (and that task lights it up). I got it because I’ve been collecting the Casinos…but beyond that it’s not a big must buy.

with how many times kim has helped out, how close are they to becoming a full time mod?
only Bunny, Wookiee and I will have access to the site and comment moderation. That is something that will never change. The three of us built the site together into what it is today and we’ve been burned too many times in the past with allowing others in. (in various ways) However, Kim may end up having privileges to post directly. It just depends on what we do going forward.

I have about a 100 in storage, will probably buy more by the time the events over. Is there a maximum capacity of storage?
There is but it’s pretty high up there…Let’s put it this way…Bunny has over 900 stonecutter walls in her storage, I think you’ll be ok 😉
Oh damn! I’m not sure what I’m more shocked at, the high capacity or the fact Bunny has 900 Stonecutter walls! Hahah
But yes, the walls are far more aesthetic than the training walls.
This is the most meh prize in the event. I’m not even sure where I stuck it. And Nero’s casino is already enough of a space hog, no room for a plaza.
The Walls are AWESOME. As I’m sure Sandra would agree, news walls are always welcome. So far I’ve only used them for my Nero complex, but I bought a ton for later use. Also unlocked Gabbo this morning. But the questline is kinda weird. You have to send Arthur and Gabbo on different tasks but you can only send them on one task at a time because they’re the same character. Idk how I feel about having a creepy puppet in my town either lol. Reminds me too much of Goosebumps.
You can form a club with Brooders for people who don’t like scary dolls

We were at lunch last weekend and my wife said “That’s creepy.”
“What?” I asked.
“You’ll see” she said.
It was a 10-12 year old boy at a table with a ventriloquist dummy. A little girl at another table was so freaked out she had to face the other direction while she ate.
But, but, you’re gonna like him!
You can add me to the “ventriloquist dummies are creepy ” club. I got him but still don’t know if I want him!

Players can swap training walls for Nero’s walls, they’re easier to hide or use decoratively and do the same thing for your righteousness rating 🙂
