Just a quick reminder that at
0800 GMT (4am EDT) tomorrow morning (3/29) Act 3 and the Casino Event will officially end….
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Lol. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 3 Acts.
- However, the questlines linked directly the the prizes you’ve won will remain. (so Reclusive Burns, Arthur & Gabbo etc)
- The event removal will require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when 0800 GMT hits and the event isn’t out of your game… It will require an app store update to remove everything. Usually those hit around 1-2pm (EDT)
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of collection as far as you can. If you turn OFF the auto update feature in your App Market, you may give yourself an extra day or so… just know that ANY time after the 29th is borrowed time and you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK. EA can force the update at anytime after the 19th and make you update. So use any extra time wisely and get what you need before you have to remove the Event completely.
So tap those last few gamblers and relax and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.

That whole casino thing was dumb….I collected tons of chips but never saw how I could have used them….should have been more info
Are you kidding? There was TONS of info about exactly what to do for the event on this site? Did you read any of the articles??
Collecting chips allowed you to earn the prize track prizes and then, once you finished getting each act’s prizes, every time you earned another 8500 chips, you had a chance at the bonus donut boxes.
Just a tip – when there’s an event, you should always come here to get the scoop on how it works and ways to play. And I also recommend reading the comments as well as the posts, as sometimes other players come up with helpful info, too.
I can NOT believe I just hit my 3 year anniversary of faithful TSTO playing (since Android release) and I STILL do not have Father Sean in either of my games. Yes I saw you could buy him a while ago. But I should have earned him if I am playing two games. At least one game should have won him!! I shouldn’t have to buy him.

Not sure where you missed him because you’ve been playing for 2 months longer then me and I earned him somewhere along the line…
There have been a lot of comments about people wanting him recently so hopefully they bring him back soon for you – although he will probably cost donuts…

I feel like Homer from the Casino app icon.. Yay!! It’s finally over!!! I was not a fan of the Casino stuff. it seems like most of it doesn’t look right together in my town and I feel for the first week I didn’t know what I was doing with it, I missed Lucius Sweet and now trying to figure out if he’s worth spending the 45 Donuts on to get him or just skipping him.
I just downloaded the update for iOS nothing new. Also the casinos don’t work anymore just pay game cash every so many hours. In the words of Homer it’s a ” whole fat lot of nothing”
The Easter and Casino items are still available for purchase for the next 14 hours. That makes me think we won’t recieve an update until tomorrow in the early morning hours. Have purchase times and updates times matched up in the past?

Hi all
My apologies that the update hasn’t hit yet but EA is waiting for me to send the usual suspects on their usual overnight tasks (8 or 12 hours) before releasing it – whatever it might be…
But I’m on to them this time! Sent everyone on an hour long task this morning (apart from the monorail people) and I’m not clearing them! When they are needed they will be ready! I don’t need the money so I can wait days if necessary…
Come on EA. Let’s see who blinks first this time!!!

I’m fine with bonuts going away. Got my last ones bout 2am eastern. Maybe I coulda got one more but now I’m free to start on the weekly monorail bonuts
Come on EA!!! Even if they just get rid of the wandering gamblers so I can visit the other Springfields for some cash without hunting them down!
my game was still able to earn bounuts but i also dont shut my game down at night i just let it run. i quickly dumped the tokens i got this morning and got one last round of bounuts. thanks to everyone who posted that information.
What a fun event. Love the bonuts. Love the chance to get them. Can not wait for the next event to come.

Well good morning. How cruel. I can still earn chips and tokens but can’t earn bonuts. Be gone event! Remove your self from my sight!
The bonut collector on mine was still active for some time after 08:00 UTC, but I was busy and accidentally left the game idle (and only 500 chips short of more bonuts) and when I opened the game up again the bonut collector had gone.
…Lest my cane find your backside.
So the bonuts are over. My Daily Challenger asked for 5 keychains for 3 donuts. Earned a couple so far this morning. Go figure.
Same here. Finally got all 5 after -no exaggeration- 20+ each of every other type.
6:12 am EDT and the first thing I see is there are no more bonus opportunities. Resisting the urge to tap on the casino zombies now they don’t do anything more for in the event (for me at least…)
EA appears to have decided to manage the end of the event differently this time.
Loved the event, but I am happy to see it go, probably because I completed Acts 2 and 3 with an extra 5 days each to spare, so for those extra 10 days I had nothing to do but tap gamblers and win High Roller donuts. Pretty boring. Had hundreds of coasters/tickets/martinis/keychains leftover and I just cashed em all in, gotta say my favorite craft resource was the Walk of Fame star… I plan to create a ‘Hollywood’ type of street for Rainier Wolfcastle & other “celebs” so those stars will be perfect decorations.
i must give a moment to appreciate just how many prizes were got during this event + the resources! I am in love with my casino strip area. I hope the next event gives us so many new characters and buildings to unlock.

Desert-themed update coming soon? Did anyone else see that message?
Also, I don’t see an update available yet in the play store but my high-roller bonus count disappeared from my taskbar… Chips and tokens still drop from my gamblers, and I can still send people to the casino for chip payout.
Yeah, the desert theme was spoiled a long while ago. Not here, thankfully. It’s presumed to be Badlands. I don’t know anything about that except that maybe we’ll finally get dirt tiles and other related items. It might be cool. 🙂
I questioned it in the other post, is there really enough stuff in the Badlands for an event? Now the Outlands maybe … guess we’ll see soon
I just don’t know, but that seemed to be the guess.

the bonus donut quest was gone this morning, even though the casino event is still running aka no app store update yet.
seems like EA doesnt want you to make extra donuts once the event ended and dont want you to play until the update hits.
