Just popping in with a quick announcement. A couple of weeks ago Gameloft released a new game called Disney Magic Kingdoms. Many of you have been discussing it in the Open Threads, and many of you have been saying you play it but wish there was an Addicts site for it…..
Well…now there is!
KingdomsAddicts.com has officially launched!
But before you get to excited…it’s NOTHING like TSTO Addicts or Family Guy Addicts. This is more community driven…meaning it’s up to you guys to help each other. (kind of like what you do here, but with less guidance from Wookiee, Bunny and I)
As you all know with a 4 month old, a full time job, this site and some semblance of a normal life…I just don’t have time to do anymore. But I agree about having a place to discuss the game and help each other. So Bunny, Wookiee and I decided that we’d be happy to provide the place…if you guys provide the insight! 🙂
Kingdoms Addicts is a strictly Forum site. From there y’all can help each other, brag a bit about your games and just have fun! But don’t worry…we’ll still pop in from time to time with our 2-cents. 🙂
The forums will still strictly follow our Guidelines, so remember we’re always watching 😉
And as any avid Addicts Reader knows…I’m a Disney nut. So I’ve been playing Kingdoms for the last few weeks and I’m hooked! So I can’t wait to chat with everyone about it over on the forums!

I really love the DMKAddicts way of typing it because it’s almost like VMK and it’s beautiful lol you guys are beyond amazing for making a site for that one.
I’m having a hard time finding another game that I like. I was playing The Sims for awhile but I really hate collecting life orbs. Then they have limited items that you can only get by completing a collection. You have 48 hours to complete a set of 12 collections and it’s random which one you get (so you can multiple of the same one). I missed out completing it and didn’t get the prize. That, to me, is unacceptable. So I stopped playing.
I also tried Family Guy but I did not like collecting resources. In a way it’s the same concept as the Sims.
Just a quick note: I gave up Family Guy for a while for just the reason you gave. Super annoying. But if you’re thinking you might go back, like, ever… You might want to sign in now, even just for the one day, because their most expensive premium character (usually 400 clams), Cleveland, is in special sale for 1,000 coin/ (i.e. not premium currency). I don’t know if I’ll ever get fully into it again because it irritates me so much, but if I do, I’ll be glad to have him. Plus his visual tasks are kind of hilarious/awesome.
