Well the Crook and Ladder Event just dropped. It’s about time Springfield got a Fire Department! Time to bust out the fire hose and stock up on those donuts for all those brand new fire themed premium items in our stores.Now I know you may be trying to decide if these are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Vehicle Pileup to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this fire department inspired crash site to your Springfield!

What Does it Do?: It’s a pile up of cars..the fire is animated and the one car’s headlights flash. Prior to completing the fire event it will help you earn more

Pros and cons aren’t really needed for this one…it doesn’t do anything other than have a minor animation and bonus %. So I’ll skip right to the Final Thought…

It’s got an ok bonus %, the medals are a nice to have…but honestly you don’t need them. And don’t base your decision off of that. This is one of those if you like it get it items. It’s not the greatest deal for donuts to bonus %, but it’s not terrible. as a premium player, personally I’d pass. But I know there are some of you who absolutely love it and have to have it.

Pass. Just stay away from it. You don’t need it, you don’t have to have it in your town…just stay away. Stay far far away…
Of course in the end it’s up to you. We can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And personally I can tell you I’m passing on this one (but I did pick up Apu and Homer). Whatever you decide just remember to make your choice before April 14th when it leaves our stores forever…

And of course, someone has to complain about this decoration. A former medic calls this decoration an “abomination” because it cartoon-izes real life tragedy? So why do you even like the Simpsons, or this game for that matter? If you have zero tolerance for a cartoon that contains anything that resembles real life, such as alcoholism (Barney), Bus Drivers who likely drive under the influence (Otto), divorce, Police Brutality, Death, theft, vandalism, etc, etc, etc…Then turn it off. **** Pathetic.

Having worked as a medic after high school, I think this one is just tasteless. The people who created this “decoration” should be invited to accompany medical service to a real pileup, take a look at that family sedan that’s been caught between two semis, truck drivers that have been impaled by the load on the semi in front of them etc…this abomination is definately not for me.
But the school on fire that you can continue sending kids into is hilarious?

Thank you elfmice! Finally someone said it! 75 donuts for something that was rushed and unfinished!? I spent my donuts on it unfortunately before I realized how terrible that ambulance was. No wheels, nevermind no wheel wells drawn. The white bottom makes it look like a sled. It’s the size of the whole car pile. Compared to the existing ambulances it’s terrible and doesn’t fit. Plus the other flaws elfmice mentioned. Soooo lazy and simply a rip off. Whoever signed off on this should be fired.
Bought this because I collect all the cars, at that was like 6 or 8 cars plus a helicopter for 75 donuts…seemed like a no brainer to me.
I seriously don’t understand pay 75 donuts for a crash scene, but that just me. I don’t like car crashes, don’t like piles if junk, don’t like debris in my town. I’m OCD so like a nice neat town. My house is same everything in its own place with the exception of Bogey he can’t stand his toys in toy box I put them away he immediately empties not just empties places them all over house not always in same place, when he does he comes up to talk to me, like he is telling me there I’m done they are where they belong leave them alone! I’ve tried puttin some away in closet he now knows how to open closet and get them out.

Mine just drags the whole toy basket across the room and tips them all out

They are entertaining and frustrating sometimes! I had horrible asthma attack last night, poor Bogey was beside himself, he actually went and got my purse down and brought it to me, guess he knows inhaler is in there. He is by far smartest dog I’ve ever had.

It’s very poorly drawn. The yellow car is missing a steering wheel, the ambulance has no wheels, just a smooth white bottom, and what’s up with the front of the helicopter? Plus a general lack of texture. Very lazy design.
Today is a good day! 6 donuts for completing my daily challenge (collect 40 furniture) and by completing this I got my mystery box….30 donuts! Amazing, so hope the day continues this way as have a job interview this afternoon. Fingers crossed tappers!

Not sure if it’s the right post for this but I seem to be having a bit of a glitch with my game. Every time I go into i, Moes bar has been vandalized and there are no other friends actions in my whole town not even two more from the person who did Moes. Also it’s always been someone different. I haven’t maxed out my friends prizes so still need to collect them but just seems strange. Any thoughts?

I think that it should have costed 50 at the most to be honest. I still bought it because I love The Episodes it’s from. “We were just carpooling! I Swear!” And “My mom is still trapped in the car!” No she isn’t.” “Ha Ha!” (Take a guess who said it) From The Season 17 “See Homer Run”. Also “Your Jaws of Life are superior to my movie, Jaws of Life.” From The Episode this update is bases on, “Crook and Ladder”
Same! I didn’t buy anything extra and I unlocked the fire station a the day before yesterday.
I was thinking about getting this trash pile because it would look good next to the springfield dump but….. I want to save my donuts for future events. Last year there was so many awesome events.
I picked it up because I had the extra donuts from all the bonuts lately. It’s not bad but I’m not super crazy about it. I put it in my Springfield dump, recycle, tire fire pit area. Looks good there. Knowing how it looks now and what it does I would suggest a pass to everyone unless you want to add to your garbage area. Seems to only fit in there, but we all like our towns different and I might not have been able to come with an idea for it like someone else 😀

Waste of donuts! I unlocked every one so far with a week to spare with out the help of homer and apu and the tire fire.

Was on the fence on this one, wanted it, but be that much cooler if it could go on the intersection of the road (without having to put the cement block and then “hide” the edge of the roads with trees, that just blocks the decoration) Come on EA code so stuff can go on roads 😀

I made a very big pile up out of it and I like it ver much. I use the Duff beer tender as a fire truck to put out the fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Even with this, Homer and Apu, I doubt I’ll be able to collect enough medals to earn the Fire Station. It’s just so darn difficult to collect those medals. Maybe it’s time for a break 🙁
Really? If you go into your game 2 or 3 times a day you should get them all by the 14th…i’ve barely played and unlocked it all today
I’ll unlock in my B game tomorrow morning, but same! And that one I play all freemium. I thought the first couple of steps took the longest and the middle ones flew by.
Like Alissa said even if you only play 2 or 3 times a day you will be able to get this event done. 2 of my kids don’t have Firemen Homer and Apu and 1 is already working on the fire station and the other is working on the fire hydrants. Relax and enjoy the game, you’ll have it done before the next 9 days are up.
You’ll get there. Try “hiding” your buildings to find fires hidden behind them. I’ve done it without Homer and Apu and you have plenty of time left 🙂 also don’t forget to send free firefighters on jobs if you aren’t already doing so. All the best

I got a chance to see it in a town and, well, it’s not that great. Maybe a WDTCF might make it more palatable.
