As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
Now that the Crook and Ladder Event is over I thought this week it would be fun to see what y’all have done with your fire stuff! As it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through!

As a reminder, a note about which programs you use to post your photos. Make sure you’re using a program that will allow us to save the image. If not we cannot post the image.

Other others….some others stood out, but I’m sleepy and I didn’t zoom in on most, but, um, they’re cool. So little to work with that I’d say the better part was what was a surrounding the new buildings.

Okay, I’m going to attempt to redeem myself. Bueller, do you have the tank and quick & fresh grocery? If so, you could always add the quick & fresh (or Kwik-E-Mart) and blow it up into smoking debris! TAKE TWO!

LOVE your “Civil Servant” area with the police department, SVFD Fire Station AND training course! I wish I could let you borrow my tank, that would just top it off!
Anyway, super cool.
And DaPimp – sweet vehicle set up. Why do we not have a police helicopter? HUM????
I found it hard to do much in terms of design, but I also didn’t get the premium items like the pile up.

A Police helicopter with searchlight would be cool. Instead I figured the Swat team could use the Hover Copter since it has machine guns, and I used the American flag to block out “Ziff” on the side of the red one to make it a rescue helicopter.

I took some time to really look at the details. I love the flag masking Ziff. And as for the hover copter….just a very sore spot with me….I can’t talk about it. Except this once. I was less than 100 away from getting that kick butt vehicle when the event ended. I can’t even remember the event currency….but seriously, had I just had a couple more hours I would’ve gotten it. Needless to say…..that was the very last time I didn’t finish an event with DAYS TO SPARE.
Sorry, self indulgent sidebar. I also like how Wiggum, Eddie and Lou are in the shot. I almost wish Rev. Lovejoy would’ve been on his train….”chased” by Lou, or Kearney dancing a jig. And the only thing to top what you captured was if Lou was running toward Homer having a BBQ on the corner!

In my real life town there is about four fire stations that I know of. All four are near big open fields (maybe near a ballpark or sheltered picnic area /playground) which is maybe why I tossed mine at the bottom of my town since it’s mostly opened up as I wait for new buildings to come into the game. I didn’t do anything fancy though.

Absolutely – ALL THINGS FIRE. Except….where is the campfire? Of course with Billionaire Haven & the campfire, that would take a lot of space.
Ignore me, I must’ve been blinded by the blaze as the campfire is DIRECTLY BELOW billionaire haven. As I said, blinded by the light.
I also noticed on my second time around….the New Year’s Ball aflame. Awesome.
Ciara, I can’t get over how you used Nero’s torch fences to surround your fire department. Too funny.
Lol thanks!! I love when we get new fencing and the Nero fence works so perfectly! I mixed in the Stonecutter fence to compliment the red in the firehouse.
