Looking all over,sure that this question has already been answered but can’t find it. Will anyone tell me what the action symbol/icon next to some characters’ jobs mean?
Just that… character has an “action” task. Something you can “visually” See a character doing
Hey Bunny, our rib conversation must have been in the back of my mind when I went to the store this afternoon and bought some baby back rib…flavored potato chips. 😄
Hahahahah. I prefer the meat over the chips though. 😛
There was a display of chips right when I walked in. I haven’t had them before so I thought why not. I’m sure they won’t compare haha. There’s a BBQ place that opened up in a small town nearby a few years ago. I’ve been there 7-8 times and the first couple I got pulled pork, and brisket. Both very good but now that I’ve tried the ribs I NEED to get them every time. So frakkin good. Expensive though. 😐
Always are. Like $15- $20 for 6. It can be insanely expensive. So… I Resort to BBQ or smoking my own. Though Costco makes some or has some prepped n ready for cooking that aren’t too bad or expensive
Same here, some flavors they come up with aren’t supposed to crunch, but since they are in chip form, they do lol Doesn’t seem right.
And they’re always coming up with new flavors. Remember when potato chips tasted like potato chips? 😄
Umm vaguely, I mean you can still get “regular” chips, which taste like chips lol

Baby back ribs sounds really creepy. Hope they don’t use real babies. That reminds me….Brandines task – make a food baby- what does it mean? Does she eat it or sell it after its born? I avoid that task.😖
Doesn’t sound as weird as “baby food” actually being fed to babies… As for the Brandine task, I take it as she ate so much she has a gut for however long the task is.

My Lance Murdock is going a little bonkers….he’s supposed to be going on his 1-hour surgery task, but he just keeps pacing back and forth in front of the Sleep Eazy motel. I mean, I can’t blame him…surgery would make me nervous, too, but I’ve never seen him do this before!

Oh – I SO want to pet her! I miss having a cat. 🙁
She’s great company. I love her to pieces but she’s about 17 years old, blind, deaf, has a heart murmur, arthritis and she’s a little senile. Her quality of life is not good any more. I’ll have to make a really hard decision soon.😪

If it’s any consolation at all, I think being deaf is actually a good thing for an older cat. My cat (whom I got when he was 6 weeks old and had until he was 22) went deaf in the last few years, too, and I think it made things more peaceful for him — no startling noises! He was always an indoor cat, so hearing wasn’t an important survival sense for him.
But the end is hard…I feel for both of you.
It’s huge! I think I’ll stick to Imgur. I can’t find a way to get rid of the frame though.

I haven’t seen another town with that yet, I thought I was the only town with a welcome message 😛
Where the welcome message is ….used to say “happy Halloween” then “happy thanksgiving” …. “It’s a girl” when Alissa had Riley,
and throughout December, a big number for the date,….I changed the number each day like an Advent calendar and posted a pic.
My Monorail (as it is now) gives an 8 minute ride, but I can switch tracks and have 3 trains running a more frequent service

We never have public holidays on Saturday, always a Monday, apart from Good Friday,
and like St who? ……….the only thing I know about the Irish, is the amount of terrorism they carried out on our mainland throughout the seventies, ….look up “Birmingham pub bombings” but apart from that, there were bomb scares and evacuations on a weekly basis that weren’t widely reported (I grew up in Birmingham)
That’s why there’s no green fountains or leprechauns in my town.

Our public holidays always happen on the date except if it is a Sunday in which case we get the Monday off – got two four day weeks ahead: Wednesday is a public holiday for my dad’s birthday (also know as Freedom Day – celebrating our first multiracial election in 1994) and Sunday, 1 May, is Workers Day so we get Monday, 2 May, off.
My family was in Europe for two months in 1975 (Sept-Oct) so I know about the bombings in the UK. Got caught up in a bomb scare (we think) at Westminster Abbey where everyone was suddenly evacuated out the nearest entrance. Problem was I got kicked out the front while the rest of my family got sent out a rear entrance. Fortunately at 8 years old I was a Cub Scout so I knew to stay where I was and my dad found me there so it all ended well!

Been a little quiet, busy and more than a tad overwhelmed with figuring out move literally on other side of country.
My lil Hank had his surgery today, the tech at my vet, asked when I left which of u has worse separation anxiety? Lol first time I gave ever left him, he did great, I was prepared to go sit with him in recovery she called and said, no need he is doing great, resting no crying, shaking and wags his tail anytime we check on him. He is home of course right by his Mommy keeping away. He can finally have a drink of water & bit to eat in about 15 minutes. No rough housing or walk tonight though. Try telling Bogey that! He got the him though and is curled up right next to him. Boy I’m glad that is over, yet another stressed gone! I’m weeding them out.
Spending weekend and next week getting ready for big yard sale next Saturday arghhhh. But I refuse to move things I don’t need. Getting bids on movers, haven’t moved in long time, ouch!
Hope everyone is doing well! I’m plugging away on the event, not big on Cowboys so not too enthused.

Thank you Lee! He still sleepy from drugs and isn’t in mood to wrestle with Bogey, but Bogey finally got the message & is leaving him alone for most part. Hank is attached to my body I think!
Makes it hard to get ready for yard sale, not to mention Bogey thinks he is helping. Ui put things in a box & he takes them off. I finally found everything he knicked from me, was all piled on bed on top of my pillow. I know strange, I would never want to spend a day in Bogey’s head, I think it’s a weird lil place to be!

I found that skin for Willie depressing and the generator never fit in anywhere in my town, so it’s been in storage until now. But I guess that just showed why one should never sell off stuff in storage, even if you think you’ll never use it. (Unfortunately, I tend to work that way IRL, which is why my house, car, and office are so full of stuff, lol!)

I’ve decided to come back to TSTO after a long hiatus. I think the last event I did was Wacking Day when Duff Stadium was introduced. Coming back because I’m in want of an incremental of some kind as decent ones are hard to find.
Coming back to find Krustyland, Springfield Heights, and Squidport simultaneously was an overwhelming treat. And that a couple days before the Wild West event started. Woo too much stuff1
So now I get to go through the lengthy process of converting Springfield into a fourth-wall-breaking slum that Burns would be proud of. An interesting transition being a recovering house farmer.

Ok um, what I’m about to mention, may not be a new feature, or it may be something they just added….it just happens to be something I just now stumbled across.
For characters that have a skin, so something in addition to their normal look, there’s a + sign at the top right corner of the character window when you click on them. If you click the + sign, it then hides the costume scroll part of the window, and locks it on the skin of your choice. Neat feature and if it’s not new I don’t know why it took me this long to notice it lol.
and uh, actually it starts out as a – (Minus) sign, when you close the window part it turns into the +, sorry had it reversed.
Yea if it’s what I think you’re talking about, it’s been there forever. Buildings with multiple facades have the same feature

The best thing about it relating to building skins, is that once you upgrade heights buildings to max level, you can change back to level 1 skin so they aren’t 300 feet tall and blocking out the sun

I haven’t been doing any recycling so I haven’t seen that but I have seen other characters glide at times. Usually after completing a job. Sometimes they’ll even go backwards. Kind of like they’re doing the moonwalk. 🙂

I have a suggestion for anyone who has been trying to place the cactus patch (from the past event when we got Sideshow Bob) only to find out that is doesn’t go on the dirt.. 🙁
I placed the dirt first, then I pressed the yellow arrow icon (next to Bart and Milhouse icon) clicked on the dirt where I wanted to place the cactus patch, pressed the rubbish bin icon and the grass patch was JUST the right size for my Cactus Patch.

I’m sure there will be some creative ideas on how to hide the little green border (tho- it doesn’t look so bad)
Maybe you could put the rake there to cover it (if you have one) I don’t remember if they were for free or for donuts.
