In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. That is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?
So I know Bunny and Wookiee usually handle the WDTCF posts, but with Wookiee working on finals and some other stuff..and Bunny busy with work and her family, I thought I’d try my hand at a couple of these…any excuse to re-watch old Simpsons episodes 😉
This post I will be going over the Origin of the Greenhouse that appears in the Nature Bundle of the Spring Cleaning event. Why is it in our games? What does it have to do with Springfield? Let’s dive into the Simpsons TV Series to find out more.
Moe Baby Blues: Season 14, Episode 22
So this particular Greenhouse is pretty simple…it appears in one episode (that i’ve found) and only for a brief second.
The Simpsons, and Springfield, are gathered at the Springfield Botanical Gardens to see the Sumatran Century Flower blossom (you can see Wookiee’s WDTCF on it here). And as our favorite yellow family is walking through the gardens to reach the Sumatran Century Flower they walk right past the greenhouse…
And that’s it. One quick little blip and boom it’s in our games! But it does fit perfectly with the Nature Bundle, especially because this is also the episode where the Kodos and Kang Topiary appears…
There you have it, another little blip in the Simpsons that’s made it’s way into our games! The only thing that would make the Nature Bundle better is if it included the Sumatran Century Flower…seems EA missed an opportunity there! 😉
Oh and there is a Greenhouse that appears in The Burns and the Bees S20, E8, but it’s a totally different Greenhouse than the one being offered with the Nature Bundle…
So perhaps the Abandoned Greenhouse will be added to our games in the future… 🙂

I was going back and forth on picking it up until last night when, lo and behold, the Burns and the Bees was on! Took that as my sign and snagged it 🙂
I broke down and bought this two hrs before it ends. The greenhouse is simply beautiful. The rest of the bundle is good for the mulitplier bonus only.

No problem 🙂 my nature/greenspaces are my favourite part of my town and I figured other people would like the ideas too 🙂
How do you bring the screen captures in at that size? Are you doing this on your PC or your mobile device?
Just my phone, and I use Imgur which seems to size to your screen instead of taking over the whole screen like other image hosting sites.
Okay – I think I’m finally convinced to try that one out next time, instead of my current DropBox method.
Do I need to create an Imagur account? Is it hard to use?
You may also want to consider Flickr…?
Keeps the screenshots you post a nice size and its convenient to swop between the addicts flickr group and your own account etc…

The problem with Flickr is that it requires a Yahoo account, and the problem with that is that Yahoo now requires a textable mobile phone number, which I don’t have. So Flickr is a dead end for me for now.
Sorry Sandra! You don’t need an account to use Imgur. And it’s super easy. When you go to the site tap the cloud with the Up arrow in the top right corner. Then hit the X to get rid of the App Advertisement, then just upload from your device! Also make sure when you’re copying the link you chose DIRECT link, not just Link, otherwise the picture won’t show up, only the link will 🙂

I’ve been meaning to buy the stink flower. Now I have a perfect home for it! Come to think of it there’s a lot of permanent premium decos I like but never end up buying, like the big pink shoe. I did buy the old gray mare finally. Just have to build a farm around Cletus’ now, maybe add in a chicken coup…

But I did think it’s a nice looking building, and great for players who want a botanical gardens area, the other gardens that we got (in some event last year memory fails me) would compliment it like a “new wing” ….the other thing that occurred to me straight away but I waited to see if anybody else would think it but nobody has mentioned so maybe it’s not a good idea,
I thought as it looks traditional Victorian……. would it go well with Bob’s Victorian house? ?

I didn’t get it because its not a known character’s house that only has one task for the character, in which I probably will never use (16 hour lol) Oh and I didn’t get the street sweeper either, got enough npcs and really, a vehicle driven without a driver in the seat, is it a Transformer? 😀
I can’t remember off-hand (and I shut down TSTO for now, since I’m going to use my other device at the gym), but isn’t the cab of street sweeper closed? If so, how do you know that there’s not someone inside?

Nope at least in my game it shows for another 9 hours as of right now (7pm my time AST) And you are right, could be one inside, but be even cooler if they showed a character driving it imo. Or maybe make a task where Homer rides it or something.
