Turbo Tappin’ the Wild West: Act 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Wild, Wild West is alive and well in our pocket sized Springfields!  Yesterday the Wild West update hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane.  😉

The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 of this event runs until May 3rd, when Act 2 will start.

Remember, the questline is there to guide you.  So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly (ie neighbor actions, bandits to tap, General Store exchanges etc).  Just look for the Gold Pan Icon ico_wildwest_store in your task bar.  Any tasks you see associated with that icon are related to the event.  So, if you’re stuck…keep going until you no longer see that pan.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to build your own Wild West in your pocket-sized Springfield…

  1. I need help everyone! I’m having trouble finishing events, even though I play sporadically throughout the day! I finished 2 prizes short in act one and I’m on pace to do the same in act 2. What can I do to finish faster???

    • Best place to post this is on the Open Thread. This post is pretty old in relation to what’s going on in the event right now..

    • Only trade for the stuff in the right-most box. Make sure you have soil 100 friends that you can, so you’ll receive more prospectors. Visit the 10 or so neighbors you need to foot the event currency every day and make sure that you’re also dropping prospectors off to active neighbors (preferably when they’re awake, if you happen to know what time zone they live in). Try to keep your pickaxes, hats, and guns in a 4:2:1 ratio (more or less), so you always have enough for trades. Try to tap bandits and prospectors in your town every 4 waking hours, if you can. Send all of the characters to the Town Plaza that you can (which means you’ll probably have to have two crazes going at once, since some characters can only do certain ones. Don’t forget to complete your daily tasks, too (since the default/first option for those always seems to be for event currency during this event).

If you’re doing these things, it really shouldn’t be hard to get all of the prizes for each act (unless you’re a very low-level player and don’t have some of the freemium Town Hall characters. This event is actually one of the easier ones to complete!

      • Hey thanks so much for the feedback, I’m actually level 59 and still don’t know what I’m doing sadly lol! Most of my problem is most of my neighbors quit playing so I need some consistent players to join me. If anyone wants to add me I’m jimmyjamesb8 thanks again
