A few quick FYI’s

As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.

Wild West Calendar Act 2

Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately  2564ico_wildwest_deputybadges_md Deputy Badges a day.

Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.

Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 2 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting ico_wildwest_deputybadges_mdDeputy Badges.

FYI… my test game hit a glitch. I am currently working on getting it corrected. In the meantime, I did go through the Prizes for Act 2 and after unlocking them all… nothing additional again popped up. Like last Act, EA may have a patch coming for this one too… it may hit at a later point in the Questline as I am still running through that… or it could be my glitching game. Either way… I do not see any Bonus Donut Round as of yet in MY Test Game. Let me know if you see any in yours when you hit that point.

There you have it. A Calendar of ico_wildwest_deputybadges_md Deputy Badges for all of you extreme Addicts out there.

What do you think of it so far? Where are YOU in the game? How are your totals coming along? Do you want some Badges? I don’t need no stinkin Badges! Let us know.

  1. No bonus donut round for me either

  2. General Store impossible prize?
I’ve been pacing my general store trades to each ‘daily prize’ and as a result I haven’t finished Act 2 yet. But… the last daily prize (after donuts, looks like a wagon) is still locked, unlocks in 20 hours… but Act 2 finishes in 20 hours!! Do I wait and not be able to get the princess corral or go ahead and spam trades and probably not be able to get the wagon?

    • Because it’s just an image as a teaser for what’s ahead for act 3. That will remain locked until Act 3 starts.

The wagon has NOTHING to do with Act 2. It’s just something that’s there to show there are more prizes coming in Act 3, that is all. Focus on the Act 2 prize track….

  3. I can’t get my trade in rewards day 14,yesterday I got all of my trade in rewards.. can anyone explain?

    • Did it unlock? Could have been a timing thing.

      • It is but it say something like “You need to unlock the reward before to claim this” and clock is still ticking. Don’t wanna miss it tho 🙁

        • So you have to get the previous day’s general store prize. If you’ve claimed it and that’s still happening you’ll have to contact EA

  4. House_not_home

So do the pick axes hats, etc carry over to act 3?

  5. Your Event Calendars are always appreciated, Bunny 🙂

The Wild West event has been fun to an extent (I guess it’s not for everyone as I lost 5 Neighboreenos who quit), I do appreciate the Freemiums (Buildings, Decor, Character Skins) but why oh why start Act 2 off with an NPC? (lame idea, EA) Why push 48 hours of Whacking Day? Why not Level 60 by the end of this Event? (is 2016 going to break the record of how long it takes to offer a new level update?)

  6. Hi Guys! Yep, finished Act 2 with a few days left and I got the quest: “More Deputy Badges” where you earn towards the opportunity to get bonus donuts. It was listed as having to get 1700 Deputy Badges, which, if you are stockpiling like I have been after you complete an act, handing in 1700 Deputy Badges is no sweat at all. Seriously, I’m wondering if THIS is why EA has not gone live with the bonus donut round. Handing in ANY large stack / bundle / sack/ of Pickaxes, Hats, Pistols or any combination of, just 6 or 7 times, along with lassoing them in your Springfield, getting 1700 Deputy Badges is a cinch.
Anywho, just thought I’d toss my experience in here in case anyone is wondering, like I am, why there are no bonus donuts to be earned. Without them, there is absolutely no incentive to hand in ANY items for Deputy Badges OTHER THAN to get your daily prize. (They need more rock decorations and items like barrels and places to tie your horse up while you’re left to mosey around town.

Wait, did you get bonuts for the 1700? My understanding is we don’t get squat, that the task just goes away and the only bonuts are on the last day of the act as the daily general store prize that requires 5 resource trade-ins.

  7. So happy I saved up 8000+ pick axes, 4000+ hats, and 150 prospectors before Act 2. I missed the first 3.5 days of Act 2 for an off-the-grid camping trip, but am now on course for all prizes. 🙂

  8. Okay so after I got the tumbleweed NPC i wanted to show it off to my boyfriend (who also plays the game), and he said he tapped on the tumbleweed and a “finished quest” message popped up, but I don’t think I recall a quest even starting when I got the Tumbleweed NPC in the first place. When he finally got the Tumbleweed NPC he said that the same thing happened to him but again neither one of us actually recalls aquest starting with the Tumbleweed in the first place has this happened with anybody else and sent it said “part 1 completed” does that mean there’s going to be more quests involving the tumbleweed

  9. I don’t understand how people are keeping up this pace. I play multiple times per day, every day, using every resource, but i’m still about 10,000 behind pace. TSTO events usually aren’t this demanding or complicated, and it kinda sucks.

    • There must be something you’re missing…this is actually one of the easiest events we’ve ever had at least for the 20 months or so that I’ve been playing.

Have you only been spending the currency you need to do your 5 daily trades and then stopping? If so, that could make you look like you’re way behind, but, as soon as you start trading in beyond that, you should catch right up.

    • You have to remember to change between Apu, Homer and Snake for pickaxes, hats and guns. I made the same mistake in act 1 and had to spend the sacred donuts to complete it. One day I’ll get Duffman

Putting together the calendar is super-helpful, but the process is never linear (e.g., there’s always been an acceleration of accumulation). I don’t know what the typical pattern is, but I wonder if it would be better to assume something like 3 or 5% more earnings each day? (i.e., in this sequence more bandits and more houses that they come out of–plus jobs unlocked). That’s probably a more realistic sequence, and would give the less-obsessive a better picture of where they need to be. It might be worth sampling the readers to get a sense of the range of growth rates (e.g., OCD player with lots of premium characters vs casual player with no premium characters).

  11. I am trying to finish outlaw spikes quest line, which is asking me to buy a gift from Androids Dungeon, however I don’t seem to have an Android’s Dungeon in my Springfield, so I was wondering if you have any idea as to how I could have miss getting it

  12. How do you tap on the Bad Bandit?
This is the task to do and I tap on the poster, it goes No where.
I can’t find the Bandit. Is there a trick to this task?
    Thanks & Happy Tapping

sweet, I am ahead by a little bit, I will have the pickaxes by later

  14. Am I the only one still wondering what happened to level 60? Also Krustyland is soooo big and not enough attractions to fill.

  15. SamuraiGeezer

My sister is STILL having issues with every update she gets on her android game (saying there isn’t enough free space while she has 1,5 gig free), any advice? Contact EA? Any of you still encountering this problem?

  16. Can someone PLEASE tell me how i can use up these 6000 damn hats! I can’t figure out this stupid system. I got SCREWED over on the last prize IN ACT 1. I don’t plan to fudge it again… Seriously 6000 hats and 500 picks..

Haha I LITERALLY only needed 300 clues to get it. Stayed up til the wee hours. I’m in Atlantic time. Even worse! I screwed up the Recycling event this way too. So confusing and certainly not fun. But if I can figure how I can get at least half of these hats used up. Then i just need another 28 donuts to just buy the last prize.

That’s the plan. EA finds a way to screw me up though.

Please PLEASE please! 🙁 can someone suggest something? Going crazy looking at this!

    • How did you get 6000 hats? That’s a really uneven distribution. When you send start a craze in the town plaza make sure you aren’t picking Homer every time because he’ll make all the characters produce hats. Pick Abu if you want picks or Snake if you want guns.

      • Well this is the funny thing.. They were very even.. In fact I had like 10K of Axes and Hats.. Also login 4x a day and I was also hoarding stuff so when I wanted to unlock the daily prize everyday.. I had ALL I needed!

I only would collect clues until I got the prize unlocked for the day.. Which only took 3 crafts to complete (Of course I always crafted the biggest). So, by the end I could just craft all the clues I needed.. Almost worked too.

But! That was the problem I was still crafting axes. So when I started mass crafting the big clue payout at the end of Act I.. I think it just kept making me craft with axes? Which was silly. So now I gotta figure out a way to get through these hats that never got used during the 1st event..

Luckily now it takes 5 packages to unlock in Act II.. So makes me use more materials at the end of the day.. (I just don’t like this seemingly random work of monotonous crafting.. Not at all what a wild west event should be like.. Oh! Maybe like a shooting gallery mini game! That’d be fun!)

        Sorry, getting off topic…

So, I guess my question is.. Is their a ‘system’? Rarely do i see 300+ hat crafting.. Especially now with guns..

I’ll follow the prize calender of Bunny’s.. That’ll help.. I just want to avoid with all cost of getting bottle necked with more stupid hats haha.. Any suggestions or ideas of what I’m doing wrong?

        • It wasn’t “making you craft axes” you just need to switch the craze to craft something else. For guns you need to have Snake start the craze, then everyone will be making guns. For axes it is Apu.

What I was doing in Act 1 was sending about half my people (excluding Apu and Homer) on the current craze, then I’d switch crazes and send the other half. Kept it nice and even. Since the new act I’ve only been doing guns since I still have a nice stockpile of hats and axes.

          • I see what your saying. I guess I’m only gunna have to mass craft puck axes.. My question I suppose is there a way to get the general store to switch to hats. Like i find if I’m getting axes. The store will only ask me to build with axes.. And im stuck with my 5000 hats and a few hundred guns..

I only wish there could be a unit conversion deal.. Like 5 hats for an axe or 10 axes for hat.. Etc.. Kinda the problems i have with the Heights items too.

One battle at a time.. Or event.. Whatever.. Haha.. thanks for the tips guys!

    • DragonHarrier

I am like you (granted I only have 3000 hats), I think that the general store tries to make you use the resource that you have a craze for at the point the new trade is made. If you do all your trades at one point a day, you could always try starting the hat craze before (I don’t know if my theory is correct though)

      • I don’t think that’s the algorithm. I’ve only been making guns but it is asking for all three materials pretty regularly. If someone has too many hats the LAST thing I would do is start the craze to make more hats.

        • Haha exactly my problem! I guess i made too many hats in relation to axes in act one. But their is some system where Dragonharrier was talking about. I just had a daily task to make hats (oh boy). But then i found i could trade in much more hats then i did before making axes all day..

Again, i just want a conversion between units. Like a 5:1 return or 3:1… Hell i dont care if its 100:1 hats to axes… Ugh!

  17. Question: Does the super bandit icon show up in the left hand corner with the other characters when he is town? I get the poster that says he’s around and click it, but can never find him (except for the first time).. Is he intermittant, even when the poster is active?
