Whacking Day 2016 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Whacking Day hit us earlier this week…and while I don’t normally do Conform-O-Meter posts on returning content, since we’ve usually covered them somewhere on the site, I’m making an exception this case.  Mainly because TSTO Addicts wasn’t around during the first Whacking Day so we don’t really have a reference post on this stuff.  So let’s take a look at how these returning items impact our Conform-O-Meter…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the mini Whacking Day event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of these “goodies” impact our rating:

  1. I’m with Lisa. We should just leave the snakes alone…. Whatever will happen to their little snakelets at home if they get whacked? What a mean bunch of humans.

  2. What a vain event 😜

  3. Tumbleweed

You roll through my city streets
    Unknown
    Derivative, trite and without love
    Eat my shorts,man

  4. This isn’t to do with WD but with the conform-o-meter. I am 4.5 stars on iscoledence (the one for houses – don’t know how to spell it LOL) and I can’t reach 5 stars. I tried adding loads of houses but still no progress so what is the best item to increase “the house rating”! Thx so much 😉

    • They’re all the same. Each Indolence building/house adds 10 points. So there’s no great booster to add. Are you Level 59? (I’m assuming you are) At level 59 you need 600 Indolence points, or about 60 buildings/houses that boost Indolence. Hope that helps you! 🙂

  5. I’m whack in the crap outa a snake with a helmet and nothings happening what do I do?

    • Nothing. It’s an npc it doesn’t do anything

    • You go to your room and think about what you’ve done.

    • I’m whack in the crap outa a snake
With a helmet and nothing’s happening
      What do I do
      Well here’s a thought
      Keep your head down
      And just keep tappening

(I know this is bad but it’s late and well, you know)

  6. Okay I’m on the fence for getting ninja homer… I mostly just want him to see him interact with the practice snakes 😳 (in your opinion) is the animation worth the donuts?

    • It’s good but not amazing…

      • Have to agree, its not that impressive, just got him in case he can be used in future events.

      • Hmm ok well I’m glad I didn’t get him. I’ll save my sprinklies for something else, I’m sure Act 3 will have something that I can’t resist buying.

    • Personally this skin was one of the few on my ‘I really it’ list, so I’m pretty excited to finally get it.

The downside is, when will he get to use it? Like Bart and Lisa, Homer is almost always tied up with something (the newest event, Springfield Heights, the monorail, etc). I’m starting to get frustrated that the characters that always get skins tend to be the characters that we never have time to use the skins on ><

    • He’s currently doing a ninja snake-attacking exhibition at my Springfield’s Whacking Day fair. 🙂

  7. It’s great to see Whacking Day back! I’ve built a little festival site that fits nicely into my Mini-Wild-Wild-West, using some items left over from the original Whacking Day Event that I had stored, like the snake whacking Jebadiah Springfield statue.
(Hey Alissa, how do I embed photos for comments? I wanted to put in a screen shot of my Springfield)

    • Upload it to an image site (Flickr, Dropbox, Facebook, imgur etc) and then grab the image Url (right click on the image once uploaded and click where it says copy image url)and just paste in the comments

  8. Just wondering, does anyone know if any of those items can go into Krustyland? I know the windmill from the online shop can. (Which isn’t on this list btw 😀 )

  9. Oh Whacking Day, you’re so vain. 🐍
