Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Wild West is alive and well in our Springfields! As the Wild West Event has hit our games and it’s full of old west inspired decorations, buildings & characters!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Deputy Badges (
) to unlock each prize!
The seventh Act 2 prize is awarded at 20,720 is the Kid with No Name, because every Old West town a hero to fight the outlaw…
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 20,720 you’ll automatically be awarded the Kid with no Name and you’ll see this message popup:
The Kid with no Name will automatically be placed in your town, so you will not have the option to store him. Bart will automatically become the Kid with no Name and you’ll see his character unlock message appear:
And he’s part of the Old West Simpsons Character Collection:
The kid with No Name does come with his own questline, which will start right up for you. However, I strongly recommend waiting until the event is over to complete the questline. You should spend the remainder of the event using Bart to help you earn event currency. The questline can wait, and will be around after the event. That being said, here’s a look at the questline:

What’s Next?
There is 1 prize after Kid with No Name, 400 Hats. I’m not going to do separate posts about them as it’s pretty basic. Once you unlock it, more hats will be added to your hats total.
Here’s a quick breakdown…
Awarded at 27,020. This will add 400 Hats to your total Hat count (found in the Event Hub). This is not a tangible item for Springfield, it’s just 400 Hats added to your total on hand.
Next Tangible Prize for Springfield…
Corral and Princess- Awarded at 33,320. This will be the next prize we cover in a rundown post.

Since this morning, my human statue apparently went rogue. He quit the boardwalk business and moved to the wild west to work the strip. Ive never seen a boardwalk performer wander the town. I tried storing him, but as soon as he was free he packed his box and left again. Has anymore else experienced this?
Yes the same happens to me, he wanders around everywhere even if I store him and put him back…. I assumed it was to to with the warning I get for having over 5,500 buildings and decorations whenever I place new items in my Springfield saying it could cause problems to my game
Any hints if act three will continue to use pick axes, hats and guns? I’ve collected all the prizes but curious if it’s worth hoarding them for act three or should I just send the characters on money earning tasks.

I know you have posted to many times to count since the event began there is NO bonuts
BUT
I finished the prize track yesterday morning and got the message
You have got all the prizes! Keep collecting event currency to earn donuts
That’s a big old syke there was one more quest line to earn 1750 badges which I also completed last night now nothing…..
Did Anyone else get this as well?

Same thing just happened to me. It told me to collect it and there wasn’t anywhere to collect from or in my inventory.
I’ve 500 badges left to reach that 1750… Should I just give up? I’ve been waiting up all night trying to get it done before act 3 starts
I missed the 1st act big prize..I certainly didn’t understood how the event worked at first I understand and I’ll be able to afford it with a few more donuts (After WASTING nearly 90)..
But my question is where the hell are my DONUTS!? I wrecked the 2nd act.. Got the last prize yesterday.. And then finished the mission to collect more badges. I would’ve assumed i would get donuts. I then read the prize track and it says keep earning badges for donuts..
So WTF are my donuts!?
EA you REALLY need to address this issue. You guys are diliberately making this as painful as possible. So STOP IT!

Is there anyway to get the Maggie skin yet, or is that still coming?
No Maggie skin has been released yet… one more act to go so I’d guess we’ll be seeing it.
I feel like I’m missing something with this event. I’ve been playing since Oct 2012, and this is the very first time that I’m missing final prizes. I didn’t get the final prize for Act 1, and I’m barely on pace to unlock The Kid with No Name skin before Act 3 starts. In friend’s towns I’m only getting about 10 friends (30 badges) and then I get no more for 24 hours. I check in the game and tap bandits and collect badges 4 times a day. I have way too many pickaxes (15k) , hats (9k), and guns (6k), but I really don’t even know what these are for and why I’m getting so many. The only thing that I see to use them on is for the one daily general store turn in, which only consumes about 500 or so total of these items. So am I missing a way to collect badges (the main event currency)?
Turning in your resources earns more badges for the prizes. For both acts I probably earned 2/3 of the currency for prizes and got the rest of the way by trading in pickaxes, hats, and guns. I use the box on the right of the general store.
Continue making trades after you’ve done the five for the daily prize.
You can hand in more stuff than the daily store demands, so you can use up your pickaxes etc to gain more badges over and above that.
Most days I clean out the General Store… way beyond the five trades required to get the daily prize, always using the right-most box. Doing that, I was able to finish this prize track 2-3 days ago.
Thank you for asking this question! I was having the same thoughts an with the replies I kmow get it! I unlocked the kid with no name and almost have the last item. I was wondering why I was collecting so many resources to hand in once a day! You’re a game saver.
I got Kid several days ago, and I’ve been tapping his tasks randomly, when he’s not needed for recycling or what-have-you. Since I’m pretty far along toward my recycle bonuts and I just got Corral and Princess today, I’ll probably finish his last questline task this weekend, maybe along with tasks from one or two of the other random event spawned questlines.
Sooooooo many new questlines, during this event… 🙂
I know somewhere in many post someone has asked this question, but why when we go to our friends places, we are limited to the items we can tap? Meaning like I can only go to I think 10 friends and receive badges, pics,guns, for the first 10 friends then the rest of my friends is just xp points? Another quick question, is it just me or is the game limiting guns in order to purchase in the general store? I have over 20,000 pics, 10,000 hats and 10 guns really?
Because EA likes to make it so it takes a while to finish events
Any word on bonuts? I just finished the acr 2 prizesand have a new task to collect 1750 badges.. Is that for bonuts? Or something else?

It’s weird because it says ‘keep collecting badgets for donuts’ or words to that effect.
Eventually you’ll get 3 donuts as a daily prize that’s what they’re referring to. I didn’t get that pop up though, not yet at least. I did get one saying to collect 1750 badges. I did… no bonuts 🙄

I have more than enough characters to get hats, guns and pickaxes, so I started the “Kid with no name” quest.
Do we hoard pickaxes, hats and guns for act 3? Debating whether to do the small bundle or huge lot since I will have the corral either way and will have to get 5 cleared a day for my daily prize.
I would hoard. Give yourself a head start

I like it when new costumes come with their own audio clips. Bart’s sounding pretty girly this time though!
Got him, and finished the questline lol Cool skin/animations but will probably never use him since I have his premium Bartman costume…yet another one that will just sit there.
I asked this earlier but I think I did it in the wrong area. Anyways, I was away the last week and didn’t have time to work on the event as much as usual. From the looks of it I will come up short of the 12-13k badges I need to get Corral and Princess. I just got Bart the Kid and can use the Get it Now option to get the 400 hats for 45 donuts. If I do this I assume my badge count goes up to that total automatically? Then I would just need the 6k or so to get Corral and Princess which I’m sure I can do. I’m assuming that would cost less donuts than it would coming up a few thousand badges short of Corral and Princess. Thanks.
