It’s almost Sunday and you know what that means…almost time for an all new episode of The Simpsons! Our favorite yellow family is back!
So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode this Sunday, May 8th, on FOX….“Simprovised”
So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week?
Here’s the episode information released from FOX:
“After butchering a speech in front of all of his friends at work, Homer turns to improv comedy to gain back his confidence in his public speaking skills. Meanwhile, Marge decides to rebuild Bart’s lackluster treehouse, but tensions rise when Bart questions her building skills. Also, in the episode’s last three minutes, Homer appears LIVE for the first time on television (both for East and West Coast broadcasts) to answer fan questions“

What an original concept. People say they have run out of ideas after being on for 30 years, but at least they don’t expand on a previously used bit (s19e01).
What was the previously used bit?
I think the Simpsons writers are capable of being original and interesting but they’re saved for big events. The Simpsons Movie showed what they could do even in this era. Apparently Simprovised was a good episode (I only saw the last three minutes) and I think it was consciously given more effort to be that way because of the publicity stunt aspect. Kinda like saving the good episodes for season premiers.
Anyone else notice the giant Olmec head made an appearance in last week’s episode?

It be exciting also you could use twitter #homerlive and post your question before may 4 but if not Start calling in people
I wish I could watch it live. Hopefully it’s worthy enough to watch at a later date.

Unfortunately our Fox Channel won’t be showing it – it’s currently showing Season 5 – so as usual I will rely on your episode recap to keep me up-to-date 😃
How can Bart question Marge’s building skills, when she was a Master Carpenter a few seasons ago (albeit with Homer taking all the credit). I’m curious as to whether they’ll make reference to that, or just pretend it never happened.
