Welcome to the wee early morning hours…at least here on the East Coast. It’s just after 4am…and the showdown begins at dawn! So much for high noon! Act 3 of the Wild West is upon us…so have at it my friends!
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Lisa will start things off for you with a task for to build the Mission. You’ll need 3 saints for 30s, and Gummy Joe for an hr. This is followed by a 4hr task for Lisa and 5 others at Town Plaza.
Just what does Act 3 have in store for us? Let’s take a look…
New Prize Currency for Act 3..
Dynomite (TNT)…because it’s not the Old West without some explosives…
So the ability to earn Badges is now gone. Your counter prize track for Act 3 has reset to 0..because you have 0 TNT. So forget about the Badges and now it’s time to start over TNT.
You’ll earn TNT the same way you earned Badges in Act 2…

-Tapping Prospectors (and sending them)
-Wanted Bandit
-Hand Ins at the General Store….(tasks at the Town Plaza)

Act 2 Prizes…
F you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT ONE PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright by each one left at the point you left off at. (just like every other event)
New Currency For Trading in at the General Store…
As I’m sure you gathered from the prize list above, there’s a new item to trade in at the General Store….Gold Coins
Pickaxes, Hats & six shooters are still around, the Coin just adds another depth to everything. We’ll break it all down in a new General Store post for Act 3…
You won’t see these until after you build the Mission…

Sneed’s Feed & Seed- 90 Donuts
Hot Springs- 45 Donuts, Earns a 2.25% Bonus
Some items from Act 1 and Act 2 General Store Prizes (Trough, barrel etc) are available for donuts. They do not earn bonus %.
Characters that Have Tasks..
Same as act 1 and act 2…
Lisa now has a task at Town Plaza. In addition Lisa will now be able to start a Craze to earn Coins.
This won’t start until after you’ve built the Mission.
Again, we’ll break this all down in detail when it’s not the crack of dawn here 😉

The last prize that is the question mark box, what happened to it? It said would unlock in a day and a half but game timer showed half a day left. Now it’s just gone.

Uggh! I’m behind, just got Long Shot Skinner and don’t have the drive to try to get Carl’s dad Cavern, I’ll miss out on the last prize a third time…negative hat trick?
But with the event ending this weekend, I wonder if those darn Clues will amount to anythin… Or nothin? I don’t see anythin written about them on this site. Am I lookin in the wrong place?
Does anyone know what they’re supposed to be used for???

I’ve got Carl’s Dad Caverns. The ‘earn extra TNT’ mission has disappeared from the inventory, so I can’t earn extra donuts. Has this happened to anyone else?

Did you do a post on “Should I buy” for the act 3 stuff in the store? I can’t find it if you did.
Not yet. Level 60 hitting and the issues associated with it pushed everything for WW back to this upcoming week.

It says that i already have longshot skinner hes just walking around my town, yet i havent gotten to that prize yet… How is this possible? Please help…
it’s a visual glitch because he’s used for part of the questline. Nothing to panic about. He’ll return to skinner..and you’ll still be able to get longshot
I have this glitch in my game right now. It seems that I have Longshot Skinner since he’s walking around my town but I haven’t even reached that prize yet. I’m slightly confused and I don’t know what is happening. My game has been quite glitchy and it’s been harder to obtain prizes. I’ve gotten all of act 2’s prizes but the first act, I missed the last two even when I play every four hours or more.
I ubtained the frontier cemetery and mortician carriage but at that moment i wanted to place it, my wifi stopped. And i had to reload the game. I was shocked to find out that i was gone. Not placed in Springfield and not in my inventory. But the game still says i recieved it. I reloaded the game several times with no succes. Please help me get my cemetery. ( i know that sounds weird)
Unfortunately this happens sometimes. You have to contact EA to get it restored. SHould be an easy fix for them.

The prizes on the first and second act were awesome, but highly unobtainable even with vigorous attention to capturing bandits and sending miners to other times. Clearly the intention is for us to purchase more donuts, which as a regular grinder on this game (2 years), it seems indifferent. Im hoping this doesnt become the precedent for future releases as the prizes do look fun. elpatroncran
Did you send characters on tasks at the Town Plaza? That’s the ONLY WAY this event is achievable…
You send them on tasks, then trade in the resources for more prize currency at the General Store
Actually, this has been one of the easiest events ever! Are you sure you’re doing everything “right”? Are you only trading with the right-most box? Do you have 100 active friends (to maximize the number of prospectors you might receive and the chance that the prospectors you drop off will be tapped)?
I haven’t even been as diligent about tapping during this event as I usually am, and I’ve had no problem getting to the final prize (with only one premium character).
