Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
YeeHaw! The Wild West has arrived in our pocket-sized Springfields! With bandits to tie up, guns to sling, gold to pan & gold ole’ Homer getting everyone all riled up! So bust open the vaults and grab those donuts because there are loads of new Wild West themed premium items in our stores!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Sneed’s Feed & Seed to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this formerly Chuck’s store to your town.
Building/Decoration: Sneed’s Feed & Seed
Donut Cost: 90 Donuts
Size: 5×7
Earns: $135,15xp/4hrs
Conform-O-Meter Impact: Consumerism +10
Leaves stores on May 30th…
Pros
-Comes with a questline
-6hr task for Cletus at the Feed and Seed
-Animated when in use, chicken comes out and flaps around
Cons
-Adds no value to the event itself, no currency bonus, no bandit spawns
-Pricey for just a building…you can get Akira (character AND building) for 100 donuts
Final Thought:
Premium:
So here’s the deal with this one…the only value it adds to your Springfield (besides the cash and XP..which most Premium Players don’t care too much about) is a 6hr task for Cletus (not visual). So this is one of those, if you like it get it items for me. But I do think it’s over priced….
Freemium:
Honestly, pass on this one. It’s not going to add much value to your Springfield and you’ve already accumulated a number of Wild West themed buildings for free throughout the event. So I would pass on this and save those donuts for some premium characters coming down the pike…
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’ll most likely pass on this. I think it’s over priced for what it is/does. Whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games on May 30th.
Here’s a look at the questline that comes with the Seed & Feed:
Hick and the Beanstalk Pt. 1
Cletus starts
Make Cletus Spend the Welfare Check- 6hrs, Earns $225, 55xp
Hick and the Beanstalk Pt. 2
Cletus starts
Make Cletus Care for Bean- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Hick and the Beanstalk Pt. 3
Cletus starts
Make Cletus Regurgitate Food Like a Bird- 2hrs, Earns $110, 27xp
And that’s it, the complete breakdown of Sneed’s Seed and Feed!
What are your thoughts on the Seed and Feed? Will you be picking it up? Or did you already? Where have you placed it in your town? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
This long time Tapper has sooo many Buildings and Characters
Which I’m grateful for obtaining (thank you EA)
I’m leveling up tooo fast (I’m not even trying)
So, until EA makes sure my game doesn’t glitch when I reach maximum
I’m not buying anything Premium!
They fixed it. So it won’t glitch. (they fixed it a couple of days after Level 60 was released…)
The benefit to leveling up so fast is you get donuts for each new level. So…you want to level up fast.
I want to buy it because Cletus has a task to regurgitate food like a bird… Reminds me of my Michael.
I bought this because I love my little Wild West town, and thought it was a nice addition. I’ve made a Tombstone – like tourist attraction. I’m also a 62 year old woman in New Jersey with a great love for Arizona and the Lego Wild West set on permanent display in my living room, so…..
I bought it as western has always been close to my heart since childhood. Most tv programmes are showing westerns like those Clint Eastwood movies and many others about cowboys and Indians. Even toys are mainly cowboy and indian themes. I still remember my playmobil toys from back then. I think at around Wild Wild West by Will Smith, there is a sudden decline in the interest of westerns.
Again, Cletus’s task there doesn’t even have premium payout? Pass, pass, pass.
I bought this building because I like the way it helps fill out my old west part of my town. Plus- I had lots of doughnuts to spend after going from level 60 to 939.
I did the same thing.
I bought this and like the look of it myself. The dialogue though just before you start the task for part 3 actually had me crying with laughter which I’m pretty sure is a first for me with the game.as usually I just smile or chuckle at the most.
I think I’d rather get Chucked…Chuck’s. 😉
I bought this several days ago, mainly because I love the look of the old-time Wild West town. 🙂
I’m surprised this joke (“formerly Chuck’s”) made it past the censors… hilarious and quite shocking for its context.
What’s so shocking about “Chuck’s Seed and Feed?”
¬_¬
When you have a dirty mind 😜 (Which is a joy forever.)
I don’t know wtf you’re talking about….
Warning: that was word play.
From one of my favorite eps, and quite possibly the dirtiest joke ever slipped into the show, yes please.
I think La Belle Frottage still wins that one… 😉
If you have 2,100 level up donuts, like I have,… a steal 🙂
I ‘m becoming a completeonist 😇
They won’t last…trust me. I put $100 into my personal game every 6 months or so…and that’s about how long it lasts. 6 months. When you get down to 900 you’ll start to wonder where all your donuts went.
That’s interesting because I’ve always wondered something. On average (if you buy everything) how many donuts does an event cost? Because I swear I had over 1800 donuts before the wild west event started and had 600 before level 60 started. So I’m curious if you, Wookie or bunny ever figured it out.
Thanks
I stopped buying everything….but if you don’t use donuts to buy the prizes and only for items. I would say somewhere around 1000-1800, depending on the event.
Could you please go over again the fastest way to earn donuts? It has to do with the bloodmobiles, correct? They bring in the most XP if you buy and sell them repeatedly? I read the article on the donut farming, but wasn’t sure if there was another way. Thanks!
I’ve broken it down in this post
http://tstoaddicts.com/2016/05/20/the-end-of-level-updates-and-what-it-all-means/
Read the section that says “how are people earning 1000s of donuts)
If you’ve read the article, then that’s pretty much it. The only thing I’d add is that rat trap trucks offer the same dollar-to-XP return as bloodmobiles, but they cost more, so their faster to use, plus they take up less space, so you can buy and place more of them as a time, which is why I generally prefer to use rat trap trucks rather than bloodmobiles to farm with.
I did the same thing. Lack off space o put Bloodmobiles.
So, you used to buy everything? That must’ve made the SIB posts rather predictable.😃
lol I did. But my SIBs were always “if you’re a completionest get this..” then i’d give an analysis. But I do like the SIBs now that I’ve been doing freemium and premium takes the last year or so.
That all? (Not sarcasm lol) I would have thought closer to double that amount if you get everything, at least every character, building and item in the immediate store.
well for an event…
Ahh yeah just waking up and for some reason I was thinking everything, everything.
I’m very picky about how I spend my doughnuts. I put more emphasis on building/character combo’s. I also try to get my favorites. For instance- I just got Frank Grimes, because I loved the episode with him. One of my favorite episodes, and one of my favorite one off characters.
Speaking of characters….I’m bummed that we may never see any of the Phil Hartman characters in this game. There has to be a way to make it happen. I’d also like to see more Albert Brooks characters. They gave us Hank Scorpio, but I’d also like to see Jacques- the bowler. Another of my favorite episodes, and one off characters. “Throw the ball, Marge”.
Totally! Earned about 5,000 donuts with the level ups. Bought every character and skin left in my store including Springfield sign/Carl’s Mountain. Down to 460 donuts!! Idc though, totally worth every rat trap truck ☺️
lol like i said…doesn’t last very long.
5,000?!? How much cash did you start with and what’s your bonus multiplier??
I got 6600 from the EA debacle. I had 220 million & a 485.75 multiplier. Just bought 20 cacti at 15 a piece.. still over 6400 donuts.
I took advantage of the 40k XP level ups that one incredible day Level 60 hit. Luckily took the day off work to get back to my time zone after a looooong flight.
Spent all $49 million I had, starting with 325% bonus and ending with 375%. I’m sure now after the “fix” I wouldn’t nearly get as much. Still can’t complain.
I’ve bought everything I want now. I had so many quest lines going on it was silly! I’ve finished them all now, even that pointless tree. Still got something like 1,700 donuts burning a hole in my pocket. Need more premium characters! Never thought I’d say that😀
