As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. So here we are on the last day of the Wild West Event and I thought it would be fun to see what y’all have done with your Wild West Stuff! As it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? Had over 220 donuts now only 87. I have the donut usage locked so where did my donuts go?
I have no idea. Contact EA let them know what happened, they should be able to restore them for you.
There was one last ‘surprise’ item left after getting the donuts in the daily general store. After getting the 3 donuts I spent a lot of time in game waiting in anticipation to get ‘the surprise’ but it never appeared. I play far too often to have missed it. What was it? Where did it go? etc.
It was nothing…

Anybody else have the Wild West category disappear from the store? Only a couple items are there now. Fences and cactus patch. I was going to buy the rolling rock but I can’t find it now.

P.S. In case you were wondering the Powell Mansion actually houses the administrative offices of the “park.”
Wow! I am so impressed with the imaginative construction in those towns. Kudos to all the “architects.” I am so pleased with how my old west area turned out. You can really imagine parking your car, entering and walking through the Old Springfield Amazement Park.” I don’t know how to get a screenshot on my Kindle, but if you want, we can be temporary friends and you can unfriend me after you look at it — newcandy12 is my name. Thanks for sharing. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your masterpieces!!
I love this theme, and I love all the great designs everyone came up with. Once again in my overcrowded town I’ve basically crammed everything into the new strip of land they gave us for this event. I have a strip of air/spaceport, a strip of casinos and now a strip of old west. But I’d really like to demo a large area of my town to make room for a properly expansive old west area like the last show off entry (by Viktor). There’s certainly enough stuff that fits the theme.

For the last 3 or 4 showoffs, we no longer pull images from Flickr. The only way to submit them is to email them or post them in the comments on the reminder post. (both methods are indicated on the reminder post)
We made the decision to no longer pull from Flickr because too many were protecting their images or submitting multiples on Flickr that it made it difficult to pull the images off or decide which to post. So now they must actually be submitted, even if you just link the flickr photo in the comments on the reminder post.

Yup I pulled it and I know what happened. It didn’t save properly so when I went to upload the files from the saved folder it didn’t upload because it didn’t save as an image file…oddly. I reworked it and i’ll upload it to the post now. Sorry about that, weird computer issue

Holy wow! Some really great designs.
All really great. Here are my favorite 3, in no particular order:
1) brittj87: eye-catching mining camp design, superb outlines throughout the town.
2) cillathefish: for the rock placement around the cavern and overall town layout.
3) jonathan: the water behind the cavern framed by the rocks is really striking.

It was OK! Maybe next time announce it near the beginning of the event that way slow people like me get time to redesign and take a stitch (which takes me days 🙂 ) But it was probably fine

Howdy partners! That’s some mighty fine ghost towns y’all got there. I had to mosey on pass this Showoff, but I reckon this cowboy needed the rest. 🔫⛏🐍
