It’s Chili Cook-Off time in Springfield! Gather up those Insanity Peppers and get ready to lose your mind, as we take a journey with the residents of our pocket-sized Springfields for the hottest Chili known to man! Like all events, it’s not without it’s share of premium content and characters. Of course those premium characters wouldn’t be complete without a questline!
The Space Coyote is a premium character that you can pick up during the Chili Cook-Off Event. He comes with a fun questline. And the Five Alarm Chili Stand is a premium decorations, that comes with Devil Flanders if you don’t have him already, that also comes with a fun questline. (hilarious in fact. Be sure to read the dialogue if you pick this one up! 🙂 )

What happend to my game during that event?! The Player Club Tower awarded on the Burns Casino Event ( the tower that resemble the Stratosphere’s tower in Vegas) return to the skin of the first level every time that I logged in my game and I have to re set the updated skin (highest level skin) every times it’s a glitch or something similar? Does anyones have the same problem?
What level do u have to be to get the quest cause my game isn’t updating
Level 20
Why did it require Level 20 to start. Just hit 20 today, and now I only have a day and change to play. No way will I be able to get anywhere with it. Weak sauce.
It is like getting your drivers license. You have to have a certain age. It really sucks when you are below that age, but you can’t change that

I’m bummed that I haven’t received anything besides pills in the Insanity mode. Every time…. just pills. Never the other prizes…sigh

RE the pro shop: I would like to know why this badass animation is only for insanity mode and not also for when the building is in use!

Hi, I finished the Chiliad Event and have a question. I have the backwater brewery and the Hellfire cactus but noticed in The Store that each item has an XP% attached, respectively, .50% and .50% .
I’m wondering why the items from the Event did not include these XP%. I recall in an earlier Event (I forget which) that the item in the Event said it had and XP% attached.
Just wondering if this was a glitch.

Many many many times EA will change or altar items and their payouts. I have seen several have bonus added later on. It is really all up to EA on what they decide
Checked on my game brewery and cactus cilantro awarded on the quest line of the event give me the XP and Cash bonus. I think that is a glitch and you have to contact EA.
Jumped on the Space Coyote the second I seen it. Wish it had a few more out door animations. And Johnny Cash’s voice.
I do have Devil Flanders so I skipped on buying the stand (thought Ned and kids would have tasks there wearing firefighter helmets. So, I’m glad I passed.

Nope. It’s benefit is that it’ll earn you chilis while the event is going on, and then cash after. That’s about it…aside from the additional questline. It’s a glorified decoration
My street sweeper is stuck in western town. I have tried replacing dirt road with a street and removing the gates but nothing is working!
It has been there about a week!
Did the same and they left. Then put back the dirt road. Now stuck again. Others have also mentioned this, but no permanent solution seems to have been found.
Well duh, the dirt roads need the most sweeping!
put it in your inventory. Replace it. Repeat until it apears far way from your western town.
The game won’t let us store the street sweeper…it gave the “hoarder” message when I tried that.
bummer…. It worked well for me with “Casino Nessie”…. I thought it will work with other NPCs too….
And it should. I really do kinda resent that the game won’t let me store an item, if I want to…especially one that I paid precious sprinklies to get! I mean, there’s no good reason I can think of why it should prevent me from doing that.
Wouldn’t let me reply to your comment further down. I always wondering why it wouldn’t let us store certain things either, the most sensible explanation i can think of is that sometimes items get lost or removed from storage (I think this happened to Ryan’s opera stage?) and EA doesn’t want to deal with the phone calls about it so they make sure certain items just can’t be stored. That’s all I can think of though!
Store & Replace is the solution.

No, it’s not. If you mean the roads, as soon as you put them back, the street sweeper comes right back. If you mean the street sweeper, the game won’t let you store that.

I want Devil Flanders so much, but I’m a committed Freemium player.
I’m a freemium player, too, but I’ve bought the Space Coyote. Each level-up gets you a donut and I levelled up to 177 now. The game is giving out donuts like crazy.
I had forgotten that I already have Devil Flanders when I bought the Five Alarm Chili. For the first time I have buyer’s remorse. (Oh well, there’s always a first time for something)
I already had Devil Flanders also BUT when I got him he didnt have a questline, when I purchased the stand I finally got a questline for him and I dont have buyers remorse now as I did when I got him during the Halloween 2014 event.
