It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
So…here is your Open Thread…only a few more days left in the Homer’s Chiliad Event, Event Ends June 15th, have you unlocked everything yet? Ready for what’s next?
Speaking of what’s next…EA had a little oops moment and dropped some hints on what’s coming next. What are your thoughts on the whole thing? (Try to give a WARNING Spoiler in your comment about it…as we do have some players who try hard not to know what’s coming until it hits…)
Safi helped us launch the Addicts Bracket Challenge this week, to find the most desired character for TSTO. What are your thoughts on the challenge? Have you voted yet? Remember…with SO many characters it’s hard to narrow it down to just 8 in each category.

Hi neighbors and fellow super hero friends!
First off, Happy Anniversary Sandra!! Congratulations on your 30th!
Second, I feel a bit out of the loop as I’ve still been tapping daily in my game – just not quite up to date on the addicts threads. I took a much needed break after I quit my job to get back to feeling human again and a little social media vacation. I’ve spent the last week finally getting my town almost back in order, though the wild west still has not been discovered yet, as it’s still in thought process of being laid out. =) Hoping I’ll get it all done in the next week. I too have had “movers regret” after shifting something out of place, which then leads itself to a moving a bunch of stuff all over the place. In game issues! lol
I feel badly for declining a few neighbor requests in the last few events, one I think being TSTO Addict. Sorry about that .. a life moment led me to delete a few things I had not intended to.
It’s been a weary week with national events on my tv making my heart sad. My middle dog needs a crazy expensive spine surgery which I can’t afford which makes me love this game even more for the escape it provides, even in the wee hours when I can’t sleep. I kinda find it funny I dream of Homer and numerous green squares that I just can’t seem to line up just right!
Thank you for this outlet of a wealth of information, strategies and fellow neighbors, my 3 top notch moderators! I’m loving this second act to Super Hero antics! I wanted to say hi and that I’m still here, even though it’s been reading on the sidelines.

I’ve been wondering about some of the craft items, particularly the lucite ones. Do they provide a benefit, or are they just decorations?

Does it come with the ‘flying machine’ and, if it doesn’t, do you think that it is that going to be a separate purchase further down the line? Or is it something I missed from the first Superheroes event?

Which app did you use to take that video? I’m trying to find a screen capture app for the iPad (and one for my Kindle Fire HD, although that’s less important).
It’s called GameTools by Samsung and I downloaded it from Galaxy apps on my phone, not sure whether it is available on other devices or specific to Samsung Galaxy phones.
*sigh* So the video capture apps you and Alissa use are both Samsung apps. Still nothing for the iPad (haven’t checked recently for my Kindle, but I’m dubious).

I like if you play on your iPhone (sorry don’t have an android phone to compare but i’m sure it does) you actually get to see Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy. It must be due to the aspect ratio of the devices, noticed it a fair while ago.
It’s funny…i’ve been thinking just the opposite…that I like the splash screen with the fewer characters better (maybe because it focuses more on the core Simpsons characters?). Graphically, to my eye, it just looks better.
Yeah i cab see what you mean, i’ve no preference myself on this splacsh screen but other events I think you a good little detail that just adds to it.
I have only just realised a cool little feature with the monorail recycle depots. The little light in front of the doors are illuminated if you have someone recycling something, if noone is recycling its turned of. It’s a small little detail but very cool I think, saves you tapping kn it to see if you have ppl on task there!
It’s not just the little porch lights in front…the big windows in each recycling center light up, too!
I did not see that. I love how there are many minute details in this game that you pick up along the way after having the content for ages.
Thats why (to partially steal a line from Wookie) it’s the BEST….GAME….EVER!!

Congrats on the bonuts, but I don’t think that was early…300 taps at 3 balloons a day, is 100 days. If you last got them in December, you should have gotten them again by April or so, no?
That would make sense. I took it as paying out a minimum of once every 300 attempts (3 taps = 1 attempt) at the Sideshow not every 300 taps…
