Well, in a surprise move…EA has released Superheroes 2 to our App Stores! (a day earlier than most of us thought…)
Back with more as I go through it…for now know that Fallout Boy starts it. If you don’t have Fallout Boy he’ll be awarded to you for free 😉
Quest chain starts:
Fallout Boy- 6s
Pieman (Homer)- 6s
Build Orphan Alley (Free)- 6s Build
This will launch the event hub and items in the store….
More details below the fold…
(So last night, because I was exhausted, I didn’t finish out the questline…which means I didn’t unlock social battle prizes. I’ve covered their details below)
The best way for me to describe my initial impressions of this event is it’s a combination of Superheroes retreads (Criminals are back to tap) and Tap Ball. You’ll have battles, where your heroes will need to fight the enemy. Very similar to Tap Ball. And of course that’s the most efficient want to earn currency to unlock prizes.
I’ll break everything down in the rundown post, and then we’ll have (as always) more detailed posts explaining everything. But that’ll be later tonight, as I’ve got to get Miss Riley and get her ready for bed. So I’ll be back with more a little later this evening…
So so now I’ve had a chance to go through everything, I can finally break it all down for you guys. As mentioned above, this is pretty easy. It’s a combination of Superheroes and Tap Ball. If you were around for both, this should be a breeze for you. 🙂
Issue 1 Ends June 28th…when Issue 2 will start.
First up…the Prize Currency for Issue 1 is Brass Knuckles….
You can earn them via Battles at the Alley, upgrades at Burns’ Summer Mansion (more on that in a bit) and Tapping Criminals.
Quick Currency Guide:
These are the various things you’ll earn throughout Issue 1
Brass Knuckles- Prize Currency for Issue 1
Trading Card- Crafting Currency for Issue 1
Gems- Used to upgrade Heroes for Battle.
Band-Aid- Used to heal Heroes after a Battle.
Sciencewater- Used to instantly heal Heroes during a Battle.
The first building you’ll come across is..
Orphan Alley- Free. 6s Build. 14×13. This is the hub for your battles. We’ll break battles down in another post, but the basics are you send your heroes to battle the Felons at the Alley. 
Winning battles will help you earn more 
and crafting currency. 
Criminals…Yes they’re back! Tap these guys to earn more Trading Cards (crafting currency), Brass Knuckles & Sciencewater. Criminals will earn you 2 
and 3 
. And the occasional 
(Sciecnewater is used to recharge your heroes during battle)
30 max in town, with a bank of 30.
You’ll also be able to tap 3 in a neighbor’s town for the same payouts. You’ll be able to do it once you unlock neighbor actions. (Questline will guide you)

Mylar Baggins- 11,500
Alien- 19,000
First Aid Kit- (20 Band Aids) 23,600
Cyborg Snake- 33,400
Aqua World Main Guard Tower- 41,450

And now the question everyone wants answered…Are There Donuts When You Unlock all of the prizes?
The answer is…Yes!
Superhero Bonus. Every 10,000 you’ll have a chance for donuts. You can earn 1, 2 or 3 Donuts. Just like the Where’s Maggie Game or other games.
Items in the Store for Purchase
Basketball Court- 60 Donuts.
Wholesome & Sons Publishing- 80 Donuts. Earns $135, 15xp/4hrs
Fruit Bat-Signal- $5,000
There may be items I’m missing since I have everything from the last Superheroes.
Burns’ Summer Mansion- Free. 12×15, 6s Build. Upgrade the Mansion (Unlocked during the questline) to increase the Tap Radius for Criminal Tapping and to earn more Brass Knuckles.
I”ll break the Mansion down in another post, but here’s a look at the tasks that can be done there (and who can do them):

Again, the Blueprints are used to upgrade the Mansion. And Mansion Upgrades increase the Tap Radius for tapping Criminals, as well as unlock new facades for the Mansion.
Crafting
Crafting is back for Superheroes 2! And yes…before you even ask, I will be doing a full crafting guide breakdown.
Here’s a quick look at what you can craft:
Small Band-Aid Box- 100 (Contains 5 Band-Aids)
Large Band-Aid Box- 210 (Contains 10 Band-Aids)
First Aid Kit- 420 (Contains 20 Band-Aids)
Springfield Books- 2,410.
The Collector Lucite Statue- 785
The Collector’s Car- 965
Lucite Container- 325
Now pay close attention…these crafting items will LEAVE once Issue 1 ends. It specifically says in the crafting Box “Hurry Up! These items will be swapped for new ones in:
Social Battle Prizes
After you’ve completed a few battles in your own Springfield, you’ll unlock the ability to do Social Battles.
You battle your neighbors just like you do battles in your own Springfield…only this time you’re the bad guy.
You can do 3 Social battles/day…and no more than that.
Social Battles, as mentioned in the guide, will earn you prizes. Some cool things exclusive to the Social Battle prize track. Here’s a look at what you can win:
Tungsten Dude- (Awarded after 10 Battles) Felon to use in neighbor battles.
Sciencewater Cooler- (Awarded after 20 Battles) Contains 9 Sciencewaters
Kiosk- (Awarded after 32 Battles
STEM-antha- (Awarded after 45 Battles) Felon to use in neighbor battles
Trading Card Box- (Awarded after 56 Battles) Contains 500 Trading Cards (used for crafting)
Gluteus- (Awarded after 68 Battles) Felon used in neighbor battles
Pie Man Epic Statue- (Awarded after 80 Battles)
First Aid Kit- (Awarded after 92 Battles) Contains 20 Band-Aids
Meg Ahertz- (Awarded after 105 Battles) Felon used in neighbor battles
One Week Wonder Films- (Awarded after 115 Battles) Earns $300,20xp/24hrs
Because you can only do 3 battles/day, social battle prizes are meant to be paced. And the pace will be SLOW. So don’t stress out about them..everyone is in the same boat. You won’t be able to unlock the first prize until 4 days into the event…so relax. Have fun and enjoy.
Update: A few of you are having trouble getting battles when visiting friends. To activate a battle, assuming the quest has popped for you, tap the fist in the top right corner of their town:
If you don’t see it it’s likely that they haven’t activated the event, you haven’t hit that part in the questline or something else is going on. If you’ve hit that part in the questline go to Other Springfield and check for the fist. If it’s there you know you’ve got it right.
NEW LAND
there’s a new strip of land added to the game with this update. It runs from the ocean to the right. And it’s at the very bottom of your Springfield (opposite the mountain range)

Where is the orphan alley in the other Springfield
They don’t have one. You can’t do felon battles there
My fighters are at their maximum level. I have a daily task to upgrade 2
fighters. I can’t complete my daily task to get my 10 donuts.
Either skip it or wait till issue 3 hits
I have battled and battled in my Simpsons town and not getting the option to battle in neighbouring towns, the quest is there but no felons to use to battle
Double check your task book to make sure you’ve done everything. If you have, unfortunately you may need to contact EA.
I am having the exact same issue. I cannot seem to fight any other towns fellon? Do you visit the town and should there be fighters walking around that you select? As I can’t even see the orphan alley on any of my friends towns. Please can someone advise how they would normally initiate the friends fight?

You would see a hovering fist over your friends Orphan Alley. If none of your friends have it, they aren’t playing this event. You can find lots of friends here:

I just should have awarded stem-a-ntha and the trading card box with 500 trading cards, because apparently you get them with fewer felon battles now, and I also got stem-a-ntha but the 500 trading cards didn’t add to the ones I already had.
Look for them in your inventory.
How do I upgrade my felons from 4 hearts to 5?
Keep earning the “jewels” from battles and upgrade them.
I don’t think the 4 heart felons can be upgraded to 5 hearts Amanda. However, as you progress, you will unlock three 5 heart characters.
The finite gems can only be used to upgrade your characters that fight the felons.
Hey neighbor, are you as hesitant as I am to upgrade all of your fighters? I’m afraid if I do, it will trigger my daily task to upgrade a fighter😂😂
I’ve had the task to ‘Upgrade a Fighter’ twice; once a week ago and once just two hours ago today. I X’ed it both times. I generally X the task if I don’t like the task or the reward.
I have one set of Brawn, Brain, and Tech at level 5, rest are all at level 2 (except Plopper and Clobber Girl who start at 3).
I’ve upgraded them a few times, if I have too many 5 stars to intentionally lose, I just use 2 fighters & switch fighters every time until they’re down to 1. I think I’ll hold off on upgrading any more, thanks Safi 👍😊
If you’re playing the “lose to win” strategy, never send more than one fighter into a battle at a time. The goal is to have ALL of your fighters ultimate lose.

I’ve never been able to use orphan alley. I tap on it and it doesn’t even show me how much time I have left. It just keeps making a cat sound. When I go into other neighborhoods I can’t do it either.
Same thing is happening on my friend’s account. If anyone knows why, I’d love some help.
The game isn’t allowing me to place the Aqua World Main Guard Tower anywhere, even though it’s a required step in one of the quests. Has anyone else dealt with this?
Can only be placed in the ocean. Do you have enough water space?
Is there any other way to get the sciencewater? All I get is brass knuckles and and trading cards when tapping criminals. At first I got a few while tapping but since I got the sciencewater 6 pack nothing. Makes it hard to fight battles.

My superheroes won’t battle now when I tap on them. Worked fine initially but now that part of Springfield isn’t responding at all. I can still collect money from buildings and send characters on jobs and even tap on the criminals but everything else doesn’t respond
Mine did that too. I powered down then back on and was OK. Having trouble in friends battles though. Fist said 3 battled once and wouldn’t let me do anymore. Tried today fist showed 1. Totally confused…
For the mansion, Old King Coal only earns 2 blue prints like Cyborg Snake.
Hi! For some reason the battles are not respawning every 4 hours, the fist is not appearing but I have come to that part of the quest already where i had the turtorial.. Any ideas?

On secondary game Burn’s Summer Mansion has not been made available? What do I need to do? Thought I was following the quest line…
On my primary, it’s there but tap radius not increased either.
Takes a while before you see a big difference in the tap radius. (It’s subtle at first)
What tasks are visible in your task book? I know some are just delayed for whatever reason. I just got the gold finger quest in my c game and I finished the rest of the quests there
Just a heads up, the 6th prize Aqua World Main Guard Tower is placed in the water.

You can’t do a social battle in Other Springfield – you have to visit a neighbor to do it. That’s why they call it a “social” battle. 🙂

Downloaded new up-date. My game crashes after i tap “continue” on the title page. I have an iPod Touch 4th gen, with lots of available space. I’ve tried signing in and out of my EA account, rebooting my device, deleting the app and reloading it…. I’ve tried contacting EA. Plz help.

I have the task of “releasing the pressure” to use felons to fight heroes in a friends town, but I can not figure out how to do it! Maybe I’m missing something obvious? Could it be because none of my friends have downloaded the update? Please help! Thanks!

I’m at level 4 for Burns summer mansion, but the tap radius has not increased at all. Even if they are standing right next to each other, I still have to tap them individually. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and did you find anything that fixed it. Before I go through all of the usual steps, I was hoping someone already had the answers. Yeah, I didn’t really notice any substantial change until I got to level 6 Burns Summer Mansion (or should I say Mansion West Wing, as the facade skin is known after level 5).
Just keep leveling up. The tapradius increases every level. I am at level 6 and the effect is small, but noticeable.
And another thing, wait a minute or so, those bandits will flock together.
