Turbo Tappin’ Superheroes 2: Issue 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  Yesterday this super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane.  😉

The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post Issue 1 of this event runs until June 28th, when Issue 2 will start.

Remember, the questline is there to guide you.  So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Issue and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to live out this Superhero World in your pocket-sized Springfield…

  1. Help! It’s been weeks now, and I can’t complete Inch by Inch Pt. 1. It won’t let me complete Fallout Boy’s part of the task … when I tap on it, just nothing happens. I’ve tried uninstalling and resinstalling the game, but nothing.

    • what happens when you tap fallout boy? Is anything in yellow?

      • Hi! When I click on the “do it” button next to Fall Out Boys task (scrub the floors with a toothbrush), it jumps to the “burn summer mansion” pop-up, and he is not available to assign a task. Krusty and Homer show up, but not Fall Out Boy – he’s just not there. (I wanted to attach a screen shot, but it doesn’t appear that I can)

  2. Does anyone else have a feeling that this event was a little unreasonable with its challenges? I play almost 12hrs in a day, do my battles and visit and I’m not even close to getting Dr Crab.

  3. Hi, I’m having some trouble with the “Use fellons to fight heroes in a friend’s town”. When I go to friends’ towns, nothing happens! No villains or heroes appear, and I can’t seem to find any way to make them do so. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
    Ta very much, Ida

  4. Hello fellow tappers,

I encountered a very weird problem during this event, the timer for the fight ally which spawns criminals is working just fine, however when the building is supposed to spawn them nothing happens and the timer just resets…
Has anyone experienced similar problems or thoughts on this matter?

    Cheers

    • Which building? The Asylum?

Do you have too many groups walking around your town?

      • No i mean the general building..
it started working again all of a sudden for no reason XD but i had 0 groups in my town and i missed at least 2-3 waves of felons.
Im glad its alright now but still it was very strange.

  5. Can’t seem to update Pie Man to Level 3, despite having 945 in the correct currency?

  6. I’m with most people on here, the update is crap. I can’t fight felons in friends towns and once again, unless i stay up 24hrs there is no way i will be able to get the prizes. Par from the chili one, this happens every single time and miss out on the last 2 prizes which require another 3 days each to gain the amount of items. At the moment it’s taken me about 3 days just to get the first prize, 7 days left and i’ll be lucky to get half way.

  7. Update SUCKS! I can’t fight with my felons in my friends towns. I’ve tried for 24 hours & the fist IS not in thw friend’s. This will not activate although I have had my felons for 24 hours. Add to the continuing problem with Finding Maggie not giving the donuts that you purchase. Basically EA is not RESPONDING to known bug fixes & STUPID programming problems. Why would anyone Buy anything from the disloyal incompetents now running EA?

  8. Baffled in Springfield

HELP, help help help! I can’t fight felons in other towns (my only option is the other Springfield), no box in the corner. I may have missed the gold finger task, but how do I go back? What do I do to be able to fight felons in the Other Springfield? Read the link to fighting there, but I have no box/icon to start.
    Thanks, all help appreciated!

  9. best. update. ever.
I love everything in this update! Even how the “chili competition” spilled over into the super hero event😉 tapping the lil turtles is fun! Tapping the sneaky criminals is my favorite hands down!!!! kaPOW!!!

  10. For the ‘Make the Sequel Squad Lay Low’ 24 hour task (x 3), in addition to the characters listed above I was also able to send Dr Colossus and The Collider (if you have them).

So the 3 I have sent are Radioactive Man, The Collider and Dr Colossus because they don’t currently earn square inches (blue thingies).

Thus Pie Man, Fallout Boy, Clownface and The Collector can continue earning square inches to upgrade Burns’ Summer Mansion instead of being tied up for 24 hours on a quest…

  11. Help… I was playing my Tapped Out game earlier, I had the EA Account setup etc. I just went to go back in and play and my game seems to have restarted and wants me to place the Simpson’s house. What has happened, or how do I get my game back??

    • This happens sometimes. As long as you have an EA account, try the following…hard close TSTO, uninstall and reinstall it. Then log back into your springfield. If yours doesn’t come back contact EA

    • I had that happen to my alt account. I actually was told unless I had it attached to a Facebook account there was no way to get it back. I guess I should have gotten a second opinion.

  12. Is it just me, or is that title screen art terrible? It looks like Simpsons fan art drawn by a 15 year old, Homer especially is waaaay off model. I don’t know if I can stand looking at it for a month lol!

  13. How do you use felons to battle heroes in a friend’s town? I visited friend’s towns but couldn’t find anything even though they also have heroes and the alley

  14. I can’t send heroes to fight villains in friends town so I can’t complete the task. It’s really frustrating.

  15. Thanks for the post. Your turbo taps always help me out.

Looks like I’m going to have to put the A Matter of Manners quest on the back burner until I get Burns’ Summer Mansion upgraded enough to get a decent tapping radius. I’ve seen mention of a recent glitch where you can send characters on multiple jobs and would love it if that was the case with Fallout Boy but I’m too chicken to try it.

  16. How do I send villains to battle in friends towns? It takes me to friends towns when I click the quest but can’t do nothing from there? Thanks

  17. I have the task to use felons to fight Herod in friends towns but I can’t figure out how to do it!

  18. Serves me right for not checking in regularly, had no idea an event dropped on Tuesday and just sent all characters on 24 hour jobs this morning!! Any tips for freeing Homer from the monkey trauma center job, or Krusty? I can’t store either of them or their characters, and I really hate the thought of spending 24 donuts to rush their tasks. Drat!

    • Right now, you can’t. (You can never store Homer…)

      • That’s what I feared. Was hoping for a super-secret trick in someone’s back pocket, but I guess I will check in and see what the potential donut damage will be. Hopefully I can make up for lost time!

      • You can free Homer up if he’s in a different building than the Simpson’s house by storing the building he’s in. Obviously not for the Monkey Trauma Center job though as it’s at the Simpson’s house.

  19. The fist is not available in my friend’s town to have social fights. Is it possible that my one friend on there hasn’t acivated the quests yet? If so, I won’t be able to complete those tasks?

  20. I don’t know if anyone else commented on this, but there is a new strip of land for purchase. It’s a shame that they won’t increase the width of the water area though…the SH boats are HUGE! 🙂

  21. Does anybody know if the people who missed the first event wil be able to get radioactive man?

  22. Just a query though…. How to decide which group of fighters to upgrade first? And how to decide which 3 fighters to choose for upcoming fight?

Go with 1 each in each category. And keep moving that way.

      • On the fight screen, the enemies will fight in order from left to right. Choose heros in same order in consideration of advantage: Tech beats Brawn, Brawn beats Brain, Brain beats Tech. (I likely have wrong names, tech, brain and brawn – the icons match my description – look!) Ordered correctly, with advantage, a 4-heart advantage hero can beat two 3-heart enemies. Also, super juice restores two hearts. Depending on the enemies presented, I ply all these strategies without loss. I only withdrew 1 fight before I understood the rules. I wasted bandages, juice is more plentiful, but waste not want not!!!

  23. Not sure if posted already, but rather good news for those who have played superheroes part 1. Jobs of radioactive man, dr. Colossus and the collider are premium now. Kane manor, death mountain , burns state prison and national bank of springfield are premium buildings now and earn higher.

  24. The return of Super Heroes has been fun, so far, as I see new Freemium Buildings (looks like a New Skin here, New Character there – no NPC’s this time EA) 😉

  25. I really liked that we don’t need to use all our Monorail characters in this event, unlike previous events. Previous events, it would take me until Friday, sometimes even Saturday, to complete the Monorail and get my 5 donuts. This time round, cause only Krusty and CBG have tasks, I still managed to get done on Thursday. I hope Stretch Dude and Clobber Girl don’t change the status quo.
