Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! This super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane. So it’s time to break out those donuts for their super hideouts because there’s a whole store full of superhero inspired premium items!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Citizen Solar and Wind Lad to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding renewable heroes to your town.
Character(s): Citizen Solar & Wind Lad
Donut Price: 130 Donuts
Leaves stores when the Event ends, so you do have some time to decide if you want these two
Pros:
-Comes with a 5 part questline
-Full characters, so they have a full set of tasks
-Reasonably priced for two characters. Works out to 65 donuts/character, which is a decent price for full premium characters
-Earn 50% more cash and xp on all tasks
-Tech characters for Battles, start with 2 hearts each (They battle separately, so it is two characters for battles)
-Earn at a premium rate at Burns’ Summer Mansion. (So yes they both have tasks there) They’ll each earn 4 
and 12 
/4hrs.
Cons:
-You don’t need them to be successful at the event
-They each only have 2 unique tasks, otherwise their tasks are all the same
-12hr task requires the other (so you need Citizen Solar & Wind Lad for it)
Final Thought:
Premium or Freemium:
In my opinion this is Superheroes 2 good buy (Superheroes 1 the good buy was Plopper). 130 donuts for 2 characters is a good deal. They’ll help with the event in multiple ways…and their visual tasks are HILARIOUS. Watching Wind Lad try to “blast off”cracks me up. I say if you have the donuts grab this combo!
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’ve already got these two in my town, cracking up at Wind Lad. Of course whatever you decide just remember these two are limited time and will be leaving our games once the event ends. And of course, as with anything that helps earn event currency, the sooner you buy it the more beneficial it is to you. So if you’re thinking about getting this, do as soon as you can so they can benefit you the most.

It’s classic , especially being a fan of the Simpsons since I was younger and the beginning! Love build my Springfield 🙂 Can’t lie , not all events grab my attention till total completion of all items and glory , but hands down the Superhero has been my favorite! My personal opinion is , if like me is get everything! It’s awesome ! My Springfield, which I am very proud of , wouldn’t be the same without all the cool stuff! Unfortunately the only people I know that play are my son , sister , and myself; **** I’d love to see some of my fellow gamers Springfield’s ! I am so on the fence about these 2. Really good price for 2 premium characters!! But….can’t place them in the show for some reason….according to event calendar I’m 3 days ahead..don’t really need extra help. I almost impulse bought like I did the Vegas Wives…
Still on the fence with this one, but I’m more inclined to get these than any other premium item currently offered.
It has been brought to my attention (by Axe Diesel) that Wind Lad acts like a turbine, so my question is How does he attack Villains? also Citizen Solar does he take in the light and release it at Villains? Wondering if anyone has Battle Video of them. 🙂

I was on the fence but when I realized they were two separate character and they could help me lose more I bought them right away. I’m not crazy about their outfits for post event, but they were such a good deal, I don’t regret it.
I may have missed it, but can I wait on their quest line until after I level up the mansion? Any benefit to doing it now? Same with RoboSnake?

I’ve been doing the same. Wind Lad, Solar Boy, and Old King Coal have 24hr tasks and Cyborg Snake has 12hr task pending. But I’m going to wait until my mansion is all leveled up.
I’ve got the donuts, I just can’t see the characters in my Sprimgfield after the event so I’m going to pass as I seem be moving through the event fine with having characters from the first Superheroes event. Thanks for the info.
This isn’t really an advertisement, but on a certain Simpsons wiki there’s a list of everything that will be released for the event, + how much in Donuts they will cost. Just google “Superheroes 2 Content Update.” Should be the first link 🙂

I totally used that too, I like to look at all the potential content to mentally prepare myself for how many donuts I might need and what kinds of items to expect for town design 🙂
I talked myself out of it, just like the Vegas Wives, I don’t want them walking around my town when there are Characters I’d much rather have (it’s a principle thing, Heart over Mind). The heart doesn’t want what the heart doesn’t want.
I don’t want them to the point I even created an excuse in my head just regarding thier names. Wind Lad? … Why didn’t they name him Fan Boy (I would want him more if he had that name), Citizen Solar?… I’d rather he be named Solar Citizen (So yeah, any little excuse to prevent me for getting them).
Plus not spending donuts on these two is my way of protesting EA for not releasing any of the skins I wanted from the WDTCF Bartman Post (TAKE THAT EA!), I guess we’ll have to wait for SuperHero Event Part 3 :/
nitpick: “Fan Boy” doesn’t work because it’s a turbine (using wind to create electricity), which is the opposite of a fan.
But otherwise I’m in the same position: kind of like it, but something’s just no there for me. Pass.

I’m reeeeeally hoping that when you say Plopper *was* the good buy for Superheroes 1 that doesn’t mean that the opportunity is gone for this event… My big excitement for this event has been waiting to snap him up. 🙁

not yet…it’s coming. It’s not a rush buy, as you have some time on it…i’m trying to get info out with stuff that’s got their timers winding down or things that make an impact on the event itself

lol part of the job Ryan…happens every event. The only way to stop it? Shut down the site. So if I wanna keep it going I have to expect questions like that..
I know and I envy yr patience. It’s just I’m sitting here thinking ‘where’s the breakdown on the mansion’ . I know it’s coming but as I read these multiple posts asking for stuff I’m like ‘quit wasting her time! ‘ we’ll get them faster if she doesn’t have to moderate and reply to this over and over and over. Seriously? We are all still waiting for a calendar for up coming special events at least up to Christmas. Grab a ticket and get in line. However, that may take awhile, so I found “Line Lounging” works best with a wine cooler. Try it, you`ll like it. (Hint: Beringers White Zinfandal with 7-up and a splash of Bacardi Rum works best) After a few coolers as we all stand in line waiting for our questions to be answered, don`t panic when Alissa walks down the line of so many Skyfingers in need, and slaps us all silly… Give her a break, she just had a birthday.

I was sitting on the fence about this one. I had been wondering if the characters were individual characters or a duo like Patches and Violet, or Sherry and Terry. Now that I know that they are individual characters, I decided to get them. 65 doughnuts per each premium character is a great buy! Thanks for the info.

Now did anyone get the basketball court? Im super curious about the “spaceship” that seems to be floating above it. What is it and what does it do? Having a hard time just trying to Google it. Thanks for any actual helpful responses.
My guess is that you tap on the court, it opens up, and the cool ship/jet either comes up out of it, or goes down into it.

I bought it thinking the cool ship would be flying around but as someone already said it is just a decoration. You tap the court and the ship comes out for a few seconds and goes back inside. Waste of donuts imo.

It`s funny that our own gasses don`t smell bad, but gas from others do.
My Plopper is part of my Springfield barnyard family. Somehow barnyard fragrances always smell natural and good. I will take that over city stink anytime. Fire away Plopper! Gas mask not required…
I have Plopper’s silo next to the Spucklers farm. It fits nicely.

I was wondering if they’d be their own characters. I have 8 characters for the event anyway, so i have enough…. I just dont know if i need two more (i have 250+ donuts so maybe i’ll wait a bit see if any new premiums emerge)
I’ve got 135 donuts and dunno wat ones to buy ..I wasnt playing last time so don’t have any other heroes. Was thinking buying fruit-bat-man first cuz only here for one more day then trying to save for others .90 donuts is he worth it or is it better to save for others that are coming? Or jus buy these 2? Please help I can’t decide 😁
I found a previous SiB for Fruitbat-man and they pretty much recommended against. So, I went with these two. As a freemium player, I have no regrets. I think it was a good buy. Especially because they can earn (more) at the mansion while I send other characters on their plot-related quests.
This pair was a no-brainer for me. Great price, funny characters…couldn’t pass them up.

Its funny at their price and look i thought they were skins for arnie pie and mole man XD ive never watched any of the superhero episodes so that night have helped me get to that conclusion . I bought as soon as relized they were full on characters so cheap so good so worth it, their the must buy this event.
P.s. you might wanna add to pros list that their voiced 😉 also happy late birthday allisa hope you had a great birthday and your husband had a good first fathers day this year was my first also and i cant stress how much parent hood realy is just amazing nothing brings me more joy then being dad

However so far I don’t really need them to advance in the event, since I have many characters from the last event already helping out. I also don’t remember them from the show, so they aren’t exactly must-haves for me. So – pass; hoping for more exciting premium offers to show up, like Plopper during the first superhero event.
