Superheroes Sequel Prize Guide: Issue 1, Prize 6 Aqua World Main Guard Tower

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Up and Atom!  Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Super Sequel on our hands!  But remember…the Sequel isn’t always better than the original.  Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  This super event hit our devices and it’s full of super inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Issue.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the First Issue you’re tasked with collecting Brass Knuckles (ico_cur_superheroes2_brassknuckles_lg) to unlock each prize!

The sixth Issue 1 prize awarded at 41,45o ico_cur_superheroes2_brassknuckles_lg is the Aqua World Main Guard Tower, because even water deserves it’s own world…

2016-06-14 21.05.23

So let’s take a closer look at this sixth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 41,450 ico_cur_superheroes2_brassknuckles_lg you’ll automatically be awarded the guard tower and you’ll see this message popup:

2016-06-14 21.05.41

And you’ll have the option to store or place it in your Springfield immediately, remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it later.

And that’s really it to this little guy.  No questline (other than telling you to tap him, that will popup).  And nothing extra to help you earn more ico_cur_superheroes2_brassknuckles_lg.  Just win the prize and that’s it.

There is a little bit of prequel dialogue to this item.  Before you unlock it you’ll get a task that pops up telling you to unlock it.  Here’s a look at that dialogue:

Aqua World

Homer: I heard the oceans are rising and Springfield will be submerged by 2143!  I’ll drown in my coffin!
Lisa: If you’re already dead, you can’t drown.  But I’m glad you’re concerned about the ocean levels.
Homer: We better figured out how to build a floating city real quick!
Collect Brass Knuckles and Unlock Aqua World
Homer: Hmmm, all it needs now is an orange tree.

Here are some quick facts about the Guard Tower:

Size: 7×7
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Where Can I Place It?: The ocean and only the ocean.
What Does it Do?: For now not too much.  It’s an animated decoration, as it it’s always animated, but that’s about it for now.

And there you have it the details behind the Aqua World Guard Tower.  Not much too it, but a new decoration for your water.

What’s Next?

unlock_oldkingcoal Old King Coal Awarded at 52,950 ico_cur_superheroes2_brassknuckles_lg.  This will be the next prize we cover in a rundown post.

So that my friends is the full breakdown of the Third Issue 1 prize!

What do you think of them? Were you quick to unlock them? Thoughts on Issue 1?  Thinking the sequel is better than the original?  Or still like the original better?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Hey guys,
I should be getting close to getting old king coal but I will have to use a few doughnuts to make sure. Does anyone know if he is a new character or just a costume? Thanks for any info!
    Fletch

  2. This to me is more like the tapball event than the original superheroes event. I hated tapball but I loved the first superheroes event. Oh well.
I doubt that I will unlock the social prizes. Often, the game tells me that I have already completed 3 fights for the day even when l’ve only done 1 or 2.

  3. Are infinite stones going to be useful in Act 2 and 3? I’ve upgraded all my vigilantes and have 2023 infinite stones left.

  4. I’m bored out of my mind doing these battles. To do them is almost like having to go to work! 😀

  5. “All it needs now is an orange tree” What does that mean?

    • My first guess is a Waterworld reference, but I’ve never seen it.

    • Rodneykren142

Probably to battle scurvy on the open sea

    • “The movie Waterworld is a post-apocalyptic story about a mutant named Mariner (Kevin Costner). As the polar ice-caps in the world have all melted, very little land remains, causing some humans to mutate into growing webbed feet and gills, to adapt to their new environment. ‘Normal humans’ however, hate, shun and attempt to kill what they consider to be unnatural creatures. Mariner (Costner) is captured by a floating village, in which dirt is more precious then gold, and ORANGE TREES are worth an arm and a leg.”

      per imdb.

  6. Does anyone know if we will still be using the same game currency for crafting in act 2? I have crafted everything but wasn’t sure if I should save them or stock up on band aids.

  7. Superheros 2 is far superior to Superheros 1 in my opinion. Great items and characters so far and so much more to come. More pieces for Aqua World will be great. I never got the thing task to tap it either, the tap the alien task showed up when I placed the Aqua World.

    • I wish I liked this sequel as much as the first event. Am I the only one that thinks all these ‘battles’ as somewhat tedious? I can’t believe how long it takes even when I double tap the fight fist thing. I don’t have quite that much time to waste! I guess I just can’t get into this event much. I did get all the act 1 prizes, but am having to force myself to play & this is the first time this has happened to me in 2 & 1/2 years of playing TSTO. I guess you can’t always like everything. 😖 RachelS

      • I like this sequel but agree that the fighting is getting tedious. Since I am using Safi’s losing strategy, most of the time I am sending one character to lose or occasionally to win with no stops for healing or switching. In that case, I continuously tap through to the win/loss screen and collect-no stopping between fights. Major reduction in fight time.

      • OMG yes! I work a very intense job, with extremely long hours, and I get few chances to take a break to tap. I always double tap the fist, but the battles still seem to take forever. Forget about neighbor battles…I just lose those, so I can get them over as quickly as possible. I vastly preferred the first Superhero event.

        • Are you double tapping or continuously tapping i.e.. tapping without stopping? Continuous non-stop tapping will rush you through battles to the win/loss screen maximizing the number of battles you can do in limited time. Doesn’t solve the OMG there are too many battles every few hours, day in and day out!

      • You’re not the only one.

      • Totally agree! It takes WAY too much time doing the battles. I really liked the first Superhero event, but this one…meh.

        • I’m glad to see I’m not the only one that feels this way. SH1 was so much more interesting even tho I’ve never found a use/place for the big red statue. This is the first event I’ve seriously disliked since I started playing TSTO. I don’t look forward to playing the game anymore at all – it’s become a huge chore. 😩 I hope I can manage to finish this event. RachelS

          • Yeah, I really don’t like it either. The battles are lame and I don’t like having to do them in my town and also neighboring towns. I speed through them too but halfway make an attempt to win the ones in my own town, whereas in a neighbor’s town I don’t care if I win at all. I’ve managed to get all the prizes for the first issue, but it’s been a pretty boring run…

      • Definitely tedious, there was no way I was going to spend extra time doing the losing battle trick, but the prizes are great and the ones yet to come are too if nothing changes. I like the knocks on sequels and fan’s opinion on sequels too in the storyline, the humor is better in my opinion this time.

    • The battles are tedious, but it’s the scouring my town looking for criminals that really gets exhausting. Hoping for some cool prizes in Act 2 to justify the grind.

      • It doesn’t have to be. Just click on the knuckle task in your task list, it will tell you to collect knuckles, click do it and it will take you to a criminal dead center of your screen, tap and repeat process until it tells you you’re clear. It doesn’t matter if they’re hidden behind buildings or anything, it will be in the center of your screen. Just tap. I clear a full town real fast. Just tap, tap, tap, tap, tap tap… Maybe takes a minute and my town uses all but the newest land.

      • Once you reach the end of the prize track, you can use the brass knuckles button in the task list to take you directly to each criminal.

Before you reach the end, you can just park your screen in one place and the criminals will slowly all make their way over to that spot, so you don’t have to chase them all down.

Frankly, I think this is the best iteration of this game element yet. Other times, there has been no indication of when you’ve found them all (so you could end up continuing to look when there was nothing to find) and/or they provided no mechanism for being taken to them, even once you finished the prize track. Plus, they brought back the donut boxes reward for continuing to look for them once you’ve gotten all the prizes! I also love the comic book “zap”s and “pow”s and such. 🙂

        • I love the zaps and pows too! And the criminals are pretty adorable sneaking around. I wanna try that criminal slink in real life, but I’m not sure other people would understand….

        • I’ll agree with that, Sandra. I’ve gotten to the point where I’ll open my game before I’m quite ready to play, set the pad down & come back in a minute or two when all the criminals have converged. I really like all the graphics, like the pows & stuff too. I love the look of the trees & town in general. I could almost look at my game like this all the time. I love that I’m using lots of characters I already have in addition to new ones. I just don’t like the battle thing. I didn’t like it in Tapball & I don’t like it here. SH1 was much cooler in that you could see your current working characters doing new visual tasks together. They did an even better job with the visual tasks thing during the Firehouse event, imho. RachelS

      • This works for just about every one of these events: Leave the game running on a screen maybe somewhere in the middle of your town or some open area in your town. Let it run for about 5-10 minutes untouched. Most of the things you need to click on wandering around your town will show up on the screen. Click away. May not get them all, but it will take care of you for a little while until you can get back in to do it again.

  8. I got this prize days ago but oddly never got the dialogue or the task to tap it.

  9. Someone doesn’t sound like they like the sequel,

I personally didn’t have the game for the original

Anyway you forgot to take out alien from the end of your post

  10. SecondBornChild

So will we get a chance to get Radioactive Man if we don’t have him? I have his mansion and car. I just need him and I’ll be happy

  11. blackgypsyrose13

This and the “aqua world” name kind of reminds me of Kevin Costners movie Water World for some reason.

  12. Is there any way I can get EA to check my game? It kicks me out after 1-2 taps, then I have to do it over again only to be kicked out again. This happens on iPad/iPhone. This is only app I have this problem with. Help

    • Just contact them and express what it going on.

      • Tried to reply twice. I received another email from them today but it comes back as mailbox full. Don’t know what else I can do. Getting more frustrated by the day.

        • You can’t reply to their emails most of the time. Easiest way to communicate is go to EA help desk and add notes to your open case. If it’s closed, open another.

  13. This does have a 1% bonus on $ and XP.

  14. Can’t wait to get the other parts of Aqua World. Finally something to put in all that empty ocean!

    • There are other parts of Aqua World?!? Is that a spoiler? I didn’t see any reference to that in this Issue (although maybe you’re referring to something from within the show?).

    • It most definitely does NOT seem “most logical” to have any other parts, there are several things in Tapped Out you would think there would be more and there isn’t, but that doesn’t mean EA won’t add later …
      i.e. Supposedly…
      Aqua World Fuel Tank =35 Donuts:Issue 2
      Aqua World Prison Tower=30 Donuts:Issue 2
      Aqua World Fishing Platform=40 Donuts:Issue 2
      Aqua World Wharf=2,145 Trading Cards:Issue 2

We’re also suppose to get Zenith City buildings again and a couple new Zenith items like a trash can and mailbox!

      • I hope you’re not quoting me with your “most logical” because that’s not even what I said.

But I like how you acted shocked at the suggestion that a guard tower would have a little something else with it and then posted a LIST of spoiler additions. Hahahahaha.

      • I wish all of these spoilers weren’t being posted (or were screened out)… One of the general guidelines for this site has always been bout to post about things that aren’t in the game yet (unless there’s an especially compelling reason to do so/allow it).

        • Sorry this is what happens when I go away…

          • You shouldn’t have to bear the responsibility for what goes on in your absence (which I hope was because you were off taking a much-deserved fun break, not because something bad was happening in your life!).

        • As with any “spoiler”, we all know they are not guaranteed and can be modified at anytime (even after release) or simply not released at all … I completely disagree as it does help those plan ahead for things, especially if they are freemium players or premium items or a completionist like myself. I would would much rather know everything that will be released for an event as I can then plan my play schedule around work and sleep schedule to maximize my time in the game to get the prizes and items I want rather than get upset because I missed a deadline since I had to work or was sleeping which happens ALL THE TIME with the other game (😠) more recently. There’s really no reason to keep it secret, EA should release it themselves and keep it locked until a certain point or date is reached. This is why I LOVED the western event with the daily quest/challenge, because they showed everything, but it was locked out until a certain time allowimg me to pre-plan and get everything, which I know I wasn’t the only one.

Additionally, I didn’t spill any main details. My spoiler of items, supposedly to be released, were premium items that most probably won’t bother with and don’t interfere with the main questline or event, it’s actually more helpful than anything as people have the possibility of knowing the water world prize is nothing to get too excited about and can think of the other cool things and characters that are to be released Tuesday and for Issue 3!

Besides, I’m pretty sure a mjority of people who fiund this site to begin with probably already knows about tappedout wiki and can see the information for themselves. Also, no matter how tempted I may be, I will not announce any major spoilers publicly.

          • As you pointed out in your last sentence, there are other sites, like Tapped Out Wiki, that people can go to for spoilers. The policy of this site, however, it’s not to provide information about anything that isn’t currently in the game. Intentional exceptions have been made only vrarely, when the moderators deemed the information important enough to make the exception.

There are times that I, too, want the spoiler info and, when I do, I go to one of the sites that provides that info. But I like knowing that this site is a generally spoiler-free zone, so that I can control when I want to see a spoiler.

          • I actually don’t mind the spoilers, because I like knowing what’s coming so I can find a place for it in advance or whatever. I just know there are a lot of people around here (like sandra, heh) that don’t appreciate them at all.

            • Christy, I feel just from playing the game for years, that a majority of people would prefer to know for those reasons alone, based off of thousands of comments on this site alone. Additonally, I also agree about not posting major spoilers that actually make a difference, I posted mostly premium items that are supposed to come out Tuesday and the one thing that’s not premium is a butt load of trading cards … both of these I noticed A LOT of people commenting about if there was more to Aqua World if or if they should save their cards. It’s not like it was Game of Thrones and I told everyone what’s going to happen in Season 7 or what happened last night for that matter. My comment answered both questions without giving away any details and will surely help those newer players trying to weigh whether they want to buy something now or save. Have a good evening/day everyone and I strongly urge anyone with questions to possible releases of event items to check either reddit or wiki for each event, this has helped me tremendously to ensure I get every freemium prize due to my busy work and sleep schedule 😉

            • Don’t get me wrong…there are times I like spoilers, too…I just want the option of whether to see them or not. If I’m looking for spoilers, I know where to go; when I want to avoid them, I just stay here.

  15. Is anyone else having trouble with the social battles? I am sure I have done my three a day since it started, and I have finished the main game prize track, but according to the social battles calendar I am at least a day behind and I’m not sure why? As far as I know there is no way to catch up, and I would hate to miss out on the last prize.

    • Yes, same here and my only explanation is due to the way social interactions “refresh” or “reset” 24hrs after your 1st interaction of the day and not at a specific time, say midnight. So If you do your 3 battles this am, but tomorrow you only get to log in in the night time, you basically set yourself back 12 hrs. You will eventually end up losing a day by not consistently doing it every day on the same time, does that make sense? I think there was a post about this a while ago. I am not stressing over social battles so far tho, too early to tell IMO.

    • same for me as well, i have been checking the calendar every day because it looks like i am 1 day behind on the social track prizes but that is before the timer resets. today it checked and it shows i’m 2 days behind with the timer about to reset in four hours…

  16. I do wish these ocean only items could also be placed in lakes we create in our Springfields.

  17. This didn’t really live up to expectations. It’s smaller than I thought it would be, looks miniature compared to the THOH water temple, and ovean space is already limited. Maybe it’ll look better when we get more add ons, but I’d rather have more things that I can add to my ‘Metropolis’ area I’m making.

    • Don’t worry! All in good time.

I think we will be able to build a really nice city and Zenith area this time! I want lots of buildings for my Metropolis area too.
