Addicts Open Thread

Don’t forget to vote in this week’s Addicts Bracket Challenge!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread!  So, let’s get the conversation going!  Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long.  This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING.  Just no Add me requests…those should go here.  We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

So…here is your Open Thread…Issue 2 of Superheroes hit this past week.  What’s your take on Issue 2 so far?  How are you doing with the prizes?

Safi’s released week 4 of the Addicts Bracket Challenge this week, to find the most desired character for TSTO.  What are your thoughts on the challenge?  Have you voted yet?  Which week 4 match ups are your favorite?

I’m back from vacation!  Did ya miss me? 😉 (you can check out a bunch of photos from the trip on my Instagram instagram.com/addictsalissa)

Tomorrow’s Independence Day here in the US.  Anyone have an special plans?  How about outside of the US, what are your July 4th plans?

How was your weekend?  Do anything fun and exciting?

So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of!  Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

Have Fun!  And happy Sunday!

  1. I wonder if the Stone Cutters Sacred scroll will ever come back. I lost quite a bit of my Springfield when my phone crashed and I had to get a new one. The back up only took me to just before the stonecutters event. I did manage to get some stuff back but never got the Sacred Scroll when they had brought some stuff from the past.
I am hoping is returns one day.

  2. Howdy, neighboreenos! Do any of my nifty neighbors have the tree with that ding dong diddley snake in it? I’d like to take a gander at it to help me decide whether to craft one for myself.

Thanks, and remember – it makes God smile as big as a 1970s-style smiley wall poster when you help a neighboreeno out! 😉

    • Sorry not a neighbour but liked it so much I had to have two!

      • I think I have a space open (and can probably make one if I don’t), so, if you’d like to join my neighborhood, feel free to send me an invitation! (I can’t send any, because I have a long list of invitations pending, but I always give preference to folks I know from here.) My Origin ID is the same as my handle here.

However, just be aware that I don’t promise never to vandalize (although I don’t generally go out if my way to do that, but, if there’s nothing else to tap when I visit, then…). During non-event times (or during events where it matters), I generally will tap in your town at least two or three times a week (I used to visit daily, but I’m afraid I haven’t been able to manage than most of the time anymore), and I’d appreciate the same, in return.

My town isn’t the most clever one out there, by any means, but it is thoughtfully put together (except for some of the newest items, which I haven’t incorporated properly into my design yet…things are usually a work in progress on that until an event ends).

At any rate, I’d love to add you to my neighborhood, but no hard feelings if you choose not to send me an invite! 🙂

P.S. Apologies in advance if I’ve already asked you this…my memory isn’t very good about these things…

    • I’ve started organizing my Springfield proper from the mountain side. However Orphan Alley and all the Superhero items (including the Snake in a Tree) are visible on the bottom end parallel the mountains. Feel free to gander the Snake in a Tree there.

      • Thanks – happened to check it out just this morning in your town, after social battling there. (Your town is one of my regulars for social battling, because it sends me three 5-heart fighters to battle.)

After checking it out, I decided to pass on the snake tree. (If I thought the snake should slither out of the tree to heed the call of the stereo speakers, I might have made a different call. 😉 )

    • Hey, I do! Check it out.

Did we get a WDTCF on that? I don’t get it. I think it’s like one of those party favor toys. What is it!?
