In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

So unless you’ve been locked away in Lucite, by now you probably realize a new event has splashed all over the screens of our beloved game. Lots of new stuff and that means I have one heck of a job to do letting you know where all the new “super” things come from. Origin stories are sort of the bread and butter of any comic book story worth its proverbial weight in Booster Gold, so I’m back at my usual antics again. “Holidays of Future Passed” (S23:E9)

This one is really a quick blip and probably from an episode you wouldn’t think of for inspiring a superhero event. I’m sure I’m not alone in wishing we’d gotten a Serpent skin for Snake instead but oh well. This episode is the second in a trilogy of future episodes so basically it’s the Empire Strikes Back of future episodes and I’d argue it’s the best of the three episodes. The Simpson kids have grown up and had kids of their own.  Lots of goodness to enjoy here.

When Homer takes his grandsons to the Kwik-E-Mart in the episode, Cyborg Snake shows up to rob the place.

Dude, Snake is totally metal. Thank goodness Apu’s kids grew up to help protect the store.

Too funny that Snake is still robbing the store even though the country has become a cashless society. Maybe they should have concentrated on being a weaponless one?  Anyhoo… at least Homer and the kids get some free Squishee.
