Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! This super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane. So it’s time to break out those donuts for their super hideouts because there’s a whole store full of superhero inspired premium items!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Premium Aqua World stuff to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these water world items to your town.
So these are all basically the same item, but different points/costs etc. So for this I’m going to break down each item and then give General Pros and Cons for the items as a whole. (Since it’ll apply for each one)
Building/Decoration: Aqua World Prison Tower
Donut Price: 30 Donuts
Earns: 1% Bonus on all Cash and .75% bonus on all XP
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +200
Where Can I Place It?: Ocean Only
Size: 4×4
Unique?: No, buy as many as you want
What Does it Do?: Nothing. Just a decoration, sits in the water.
Building/Decoration: Aqua World Fuel Tank
Donut Price: 35 Donuts
Earns: 1% Bonus on all Cash and XP
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +200
Where Can I Place It?: Ocean Only
Size: 5×5
Unique?: No, buy as many as you want
What Does it Do?: Animated when tapped. Fire and black smoke will come out of the top of the tank.
Building/Decoration: Aqua World Fishing Platform
Donut Price: 40 Donuts
Earns: 2% Bonus on all Cash and XP
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +200
Where Can I Place It?: Ocean Only
Size: 4×6
Unique?: No, buy as many as you want
What Does it Do?: Nothing. Just a decoration, sits in the water.
All Three Aqua World Items Leave the Store on July 12th…
The following Pros and Cons apply to all three items
Pros:
-More items to decorate in the ocean
-Go with the other Aqua World items (prizes/crafting)
-Bonus % awarded with each one, and fairly decent %
Cons:
-Mostly non animated decorations. They basically just sit there and do nothing.
-Decorations, so no character interaction with them.
-No questline associated with them
Final Thought:
Premium:
I’m not a big fan. I personally think they’re a waste of donuts and just not worth it. There are LOADS of other items to spend your donuts on…personally that’s where I would spend my donuts. (and what I’m doing) So unless you’re working to build some amazing Aqua World in your water…pass on these. And save those donuts for those better items in the store.
Freemium:
Pass. Just stay away from these. Save those donuts for better items…
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’m passing on these. Just not worth it to me. Of course whatever you decide just remember these are limited time and will be leaving our games (the store) on Tuesday July 12th. So just make sure you make your final decision before they’re gone from our stores.

I was really digging it – another clever Tapebelt construction – until I hit the gnomes…then I felt more like I was in Tot’s brain, lol! 😉
hehe no worries, i only planned to have it around for the 4th, so i could tap it to my heart’s content and see fireworks erupt and spin while gnomes smiled and drank.
i just hit the max object count again though, so it’s all been stored away already. can’t wait to figure out what to delete next….
Is there a difference between the Fishing Platform (Premium) and the Warf (Crafting)? The images for both look identical in my game.
Menu images look the same but how I have them on this post is how they look when placed in your town
User 2fly2high here; being a waterworld-fan I had to buy them 🙂 And I like old and rusty items so I even spend my freemium donuts on the missing parts. Nowadays donuts are pretty easy to collect so I just went for it!
Not counting SH buildings (XP only), are there any other items that have a different bonus for cash and XP? I can’t think of any and I can’t think of anything that offers a boost on cash only (or in this case, a higher cash boost). How does the prison tower show in the Conform-o-meter? Does it raise it .75%?
Just checked in my town and the tower has a 1% bonus.
The Aqua World Fishing Platform generates 2% for 40 donuts, which does meet the 20:1 ratio I consider a good value. But I’d definitely prefer spending on a character over a decoration.

I’m really close to having enough to craft that and have the extra 4000 for Issue 3. Would you recommend that I don’t craft it? (I like having one of everything, because later you never know how you’ll feel.)
I’m exactly the same. This is the first time I’m actually not crafting something that I easily could. I just know there’s better things coming for crafting in act 3, plus my ocean is one of my least favourite areas as it is. The one from act 1 didn’t really do anything for me so I can’t see this one being much better. But if you really like decorating your ocean I would say go for it. Just for me personally it doesn’t go with anything and I never really ‘look’ at my ocean area anyway lol.
Thanks for your opinions. The ocean is kinda sucky but I think it would be better if they decide to release more away from the beach. Since we’ve been getting more and more ocean only items maybe they’re priming us to want that before they release more spaces. Anyways, as it stands now, it’s not so great, but um — a little anthropomorphizing — my single aqua world item is lonely. 😉
Lol, I just bought them before reading the article. I like Waterworld and I had crafted 2 of those setpieces, so with the premium stuff it looks kinda cool! I don’t get the xp bonus though, 2% for cash but only 0.75 for XP? Seems weird. I hope you won’t get them for Free after they arent for sale anymore though! They are a bit expensive but I like ocean stuff, I just want the ocean to go deeper so I can put it in the “deep end” instead of putting the atol next to shore.
I did the same thing. I bought them last night because my other 2 crafted pieces looked lonely.
I love ’em. I crafted 2 from issue 2, I may craft more. I think they’re a great homage to a cult movie. They look great in the ocean and the dialogue when the issue 1 tower was placed was pretty funny. I put a couple of jet skis next to them. Yeah, my ocean is pretty crowded, but if I had more like this, I would be happier. I purchased one each of the premium items even though I rarely spend donuts. Give me more! All we need now is a tanker and a tiny orange tree to float out there.
Oh yeah, when I watched waterworld live show at universal studio, jet skis make key appearances. I have bought all and one additional fishing platform for the percentage.

One has 1% and the 2 others 75% bonus on XP? Is that right? That might make it attactive for XP farmers… Does it really mean that if my total current bonus is 201% – I can make it 351%?

No, that only shows the multiplier that applies to both cash AND XP, not the XP-only multiplier that you get for items like the Springfield Heights buildings.
What do you mean, springfield heights building add bonus percentages?! Which do? The premium donut buildings or…?
No the freemium ones have a XP bonus attached to them.
