Should I Spend Donuts On The Fracker?

Sorry this is getting up late tonight…rough and crazy day around here.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  This super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane. So it’s time to break out those donuts for their super hideouts because there’s a whole store full of superhero inspired premium items!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Fracker to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this member of the Fossil Four to your town.

Character(s): The Fracker

Pros:
-Comes with a  questline
-Full character, so he’ll have a full set of tasks
-Earn 50% more cash and xp on all tasks
-Brawn character for Battles, start with 3 hearts
-Earns at a premium rate at Burns’ Summer Mansion.  Earns 4  and 12 ico_cur_superheroes2_brassknuckles_lg/4hrs.

Cons:
-You don’t need him to be successful at the event
-Very pricey for just a premium character (no building)

Final Thought:
Premium:
This is one of those Premium toss ups.  It’s one of those items that if you like, you should pick up.  And if you’re a character collector you should pick it up.  Otherwise I think it’s a pass.  You don’t need him and while he has a couple of fun animations, I think ultimately he’s way over priced for what he does.

Freemium:
Pass.  Over priced and not worth those hard earned donuts.  Freemium players I’d stay away from this one

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do.  And I can tell you I’ll most likely be passing on this one.  Of course whatever you decide just remember this is limited time and will be leaving our games when Issue 2 ends on July 12th.  And of course, as with anything that helps earn event currency, the sooner you buy it the more beneficial it is to you.  So if you’re thinking about getting this, do as soon as you can so they can benefit you the most.

  1. I wanted to pass him up completely, but I really love his frack the ground task I’ve seen in other people’s towns. Unfortunately, I am not willing to buy any more donuts at current Canadian Apple store prices, so I am a few shy for Coolsville which I am getting, and still trying to decide on the rumoured Scoutmaster if and when he arrives – but I don’t know his tasks, etc. either. I think the Fracker will not be in my future – I will just have to enjoy him in other towns.

  2. I was a character collecter for the last Super Heros, so same for the sequel.

  3. Yeah, he’s expensive but I got him anyway. I like his outdoor tasks. He would definitely go great with Roscoe!

  4. I got him as he is so muscular and hairy. Very unique character 😂

  5. He’s overpriced, but I had to get him to go with King Coal, Petroleus Rex, and the eventual fourth member of the team.

    • That’s why I bought him too. I didn’t just want the Fossil Fuel 1, So I bought Petroleous Rex. And I didn’t want the Fossil Fuel 2, So I bought the Fracker. I’m just hoping Charcoal Briqquite won’t be premium.

  6. I just had to him because of his name lol! ☆

  7. Sorry to hear you had a rough day, Alissa – hope everything ended okay! ((hug))

    • Oh yea, fine. Just crazy lol. Between lawyers, bankers, movers, contractors, doctors and a fussy baby it was just a chaotic day

      • What, no gypsies, tramps, and thieves? Or butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers? 😉

Glad to hear it wasn’t anything beyond temporary aggravations. 🙂

        • Lol moving sucks. And selling your house and buying a new one sucks 1000 times more

          • I *hate* moving!

I’ve never sold a house myself (we’re still living in the “starter” house we bought almost 30 years ago), but I used to be a real estate broker, so I’ve sure been involved in a lot of home buying and selling.

I always told my clients that some real estate transactions can be rocky and others can go very smoothly, but, no matter how well it goes, there is *always* a problem somewhere along the way. One just has to hope it ends up being a relatively small problem. But I think it’s better to just go into the whole process knowing there will be a problem, so it doesn’t freak you out when it happens.

            • Luckily it’s been ok so far…just a long tedious process (since we’re trying to do a simultaneous close). Fortunately everyone’s been on the same page for the whole process. And since our new house is new construction no one lives there. So it’s really just arranging our move and getting the buyers of our current house to get their paperwork together so we can close on the same day.
And now we’re getting close to the day…supposed to be next Friday…so it’s just arranging movers, packing and getting our CO. All of that is enough of a process, but trying to do it with an (almost) 8 month old is 1000 times harder lol

  8. Frickitty Frack, not this again. (Sheldon Cooper quote)

Where does the other end of that tube go (behind him)? :p

Roscoe might want him in my town but I don’t. Pass (I got my eye on a scout master though).

  9. I really like him. His visual tasks are really cool. I saw him in my friends town and I had to have him. I broke down and bought a boatload of donuts because of the returning Superheroes items and the July 4th items. This is the first time I’ve spent actual money in a year of playing (I previously redeemed iTunes gift cards from doing online surveys), but my birthday is this month and I really wanted the presidents and the Nighthawk Diner so I splurged. I don’t regret it and I’ll know I’ll enjoy the Fracker for years to come.

  10. You forgot to mention that he’s voiced.

  11. I got him as I really love superheroes and comic book related shows/movies/books/etc and really loved both Superhero events. I was exclusively freemium last time around, but have now started purchasing some premium characters. I definitely want the Fossil Four, so I bought Petroleus Rex and The Fracker.

    • I got him for the same reason: a love of comic books. Fortunately, I had already won or bought some of the characters last year; otherwise, this would have been an expensive event for me. I have enough doughnuts left for a couple of things in the next “issue.”

I thought he was 100 donuts?
