Superheroes Sequel Prize Guide: Issue 2, Prize 6 Plastic Prison

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Up and Atom!  Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Super Sequel on our hands!  But remember…the Sequel isn’t always better than the original.  Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  This super event hit our devices and it’s full of super inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Issue.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Issue you’re tasked with collecting Soliant Red (ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg) to unlock each prize!

The sixth Issue 2 prize is awarded at 50,350 ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg is the Plastic Prison, because no other jail in town seems to keep the criminals in..

So let’s take a closer look at this sixth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 50,350 ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg you’ll automatically be awarded the Plastic Prison and you’ll see this message popup:

2016-07-07 21.32.30

And you’ll have the option to place or store it in your Springfield immediately.  Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory later to retrieve it.

The Plastic Prison is a decoration, so there are no tasks for it and no character interaction.  And nothing to earn you more ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg.  However, it is an animated decoration (when tapped) and a quest does popup prior to unlocking it, with some fun dialogue and a reminder to tap it.  Here’s a look at that dialogue:

Plastic Prison
Auto start

Marge: Mayor Quimby, I have major concerns about our prisons.
Quimby: Yes Marge? I am listening.
Marge: The prisons in this town might not be adequate. Snake escapes from them on a weekly basis!  Citizens would surely benefit from a Snake-proof, secure prison.
Bart: So secure that only a magical wizard could escape it!

And that’s it to the Plastic Prison.  Not much to it…but here are some quick facts about it:

Where Can I Place It?: Grass Only
What Does it Do?: Animated when tapped, once section of it lights up.

And there you have it the details behind the Plastic Prison.  The newest prison to grace our Springfield to try and keep the Criminals in…

What’s Next

  1. How do you upgrade your FELONS ?

  2. I think I found a bonus donut glitch, if you collect your 12000th soilant red thru your friends, you will get your bonuts twice. I will try it again tomorrow if it works

  3. grmccormac993

Will the collection cards reset in issue 3 or can I save them? I’ve gotten all of the prizes available.

    • Just like issue 1 to 2, they carry over

    • You can save them (they’ll still be good in act 3), or you can craft multiples of some, or all, of the ones you already crafted. I would suggest saving at very least 4,000 of them, if you can…you’ll probably need them in a few days.

  4. Kinda lame prize

  5. A bit off subject, but I really hope we get some great crafting prizes in the third issue. I love crafting the Zenith City buildings and the Billboards especially, but I feel like there’s going to be something even better to buy a bunch of next issue, so I’m saving the rest of my cards.

    • I usually prefer to play without spoilers, but I have to admit that this was one thing that I did seek out the info for, because I didn’t want to be kicking myself for saving too many, or too few, cards for Issue 3. It’s pretty easy to Google up a site that can give you this info (although, of course, nothing is for sure until it’s released into the game, so there’s always some element of risk). I was glad I checked because, for me, outside of the 4,000 card item that a lot of people have alluded to here, there wasn’t a ton of craftables that interested me, so I went ahead and crafted a bunch more stuff from this Issue this morning.

    • Chris,

From what I’ve seen, there might be quite a few things next issue you might be interested in, not necessarily great, but I would recommend making what you want now from this issue and then continue to save your cards. I too enjoy Zenith City and plan on making a full neighborhood with everything after the event!

  6. Put it with mansion for radioactive man which already has a “secret” entrance for the fortress of loneliness (or whatever it’s called) and the radioactive man car. Fits right in. I like having this faux Wayne manor.

    • It’s called fortress of lonelitude, I think, because it’s like a parody of fortress of solitude 🙂

  7. Was hoping to be able to place it on concrete

    • Same here… I wanted it as part of my prison complex which is all concrete… having a patch of grass for a prison is just weird

  8. Is anyone else locked out of bonuts? I finished all questlines (working on Bart’s stretch guy quest now) and collected around 2000+ red soliant but no bonut pop-up. The task says 1200. Anyone else in the aame boat?

  9. I’ve unlocked it.

  10. we can’t even place it over cement? what’s the point then?

  11. I wish this could also go on concrete…I had a good idea of a place I wanted to put it, but there’s cement there.

I’ll keep thinking, but, if nothing comes to me by fairly soon after the event ends, this may end up in storage, too.

  12. Ok. This is a little off subject, but I have a dilemma. I did not participate in the first Superheroes event until the very end because I took a long break from the game, so all I got was Fallout Boy. I got a popup on my game telling me that Bartman and Radioactive Man were available together for a limited time. The cost is 230 donuts for both. I found a SIB for Bartman from last year, but Radioactive man was the final prize in last year’s event. In your opinion, is it worth the 230 donuts for both characters? Thanks for your help.

    • Considering that they both come with buildings (kane manor and bartmans hideout) i bought it as a freemium player cause i really wanted them and i thought it was actually worth it. only downside i see is that theyre both brawn for the felon fights, which i already have like 7 of compared to my 2 tech fighters

    • Too pricey for me. You’re getting a character and a skin for 230 doughnuts. Not a good deal. But if you want them, and can afford them, then do it.

    • Citizen Solar and Wind Lad were for 130 combined and the Fracker was for about 100 i think, but they’re nobodies. 230 is a lot even for combined. i guess by this point in the competition, you have to ask yourself if you’re still going to keep using the skin/character after the event is over. i haven’t bought any superheroes who weren’t in my arsenal because i don’t see the point in keeping them around after the event ends.

      • Or you can look at it this way. This was the second super hero’s event. Maybe they will continue once a year or sooner and each super hero or villain you have will be usable for the next event. Sure they may be just skins. but, they do have a purpose over time. Still it’s a choice one has to make for themselves.

    • FWIW it also comes with Bartman’s Cave and Kane Manor. I purchased it but the issue I encountered was that Radioactive Man’s 8 hour task is locked and it says it can only be opened through quest. However, no quest auto-started for RM. So it appears that his 8 hr task is permanently locked unless you completed the first superheroes event. Kind of lame

    • Too bad Radioactive Man isn’t available separately. I love seeing him fly around Springfield.

    • For me not worth the donuts as one is a skin. Hence it is liking paying for one new character without any building.

    • Alissa, is there going to be a SIB for this combo. The first superheroes event was before i started playing.

  13. I expected a task (permanent or at least event-based) to go with this deco. It’s not going to even generate income like a normal building.

    Hrmmrmmrrrmm.

  14. My favourite prize of issue 2, reminds me of the prison in xmen 1, love it!

  15. i got the plastic prison and was disappointed there was really nothing to it. looks kind of cool but it might not last in my town once the event is over.

  16. Was quite disappointed with the plastic prison. Thought there’d be more to it eg task/dialogue/animation and it’s overall ‘look’. Ah well. I’ve liked the other prizes though.

  17. maintenance was required on one of the soilant red factory’s subterranean labs.
