We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Hey Everbody…. Have a quick break to hop in and say I’m still alive and kicking felon butts! I see you in your towns, but you don’t know I’ve been there ☹️ obviously still a complaint of mine that we loose our handshakes during an event. I like my friend handshakes. Still trying to settle in, one step forward brings three back due to movers from ….!
Greatest benefit is my doggies LOVE IT HERE! My bed has turned into a doggies play land. Now have 4 sleeping with us. Bogey’s parents have always loved me, so are following me everywhere. Pied Piper of dogs grrrrrrr. Finally all 4 are just starting to play instead of two ganging up on two. There are also 2 cats living here, so for those of you keeping count, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 humans very lively household.
Miss you all of course, hopefully can keep better in touch. Hugs to all!

Just wanted to let you all know HH is here safely and is settling in well. We sit on the lanai daily and play TSTO and flip each other off. 😜 loving it!
Has anyone else been logged out of EA and then gotten the notice the EA network could not be reached at this time?? This started happening around 1pm. Frustrating!!! First time I’ve had this happen. Wonder why?

Did anyone else lose the find Maggie & and the chili/turtle tapping mini game when part 3 of the super heroes came out.
I didn’t and haven’t seen anyone else asking that, so I’m guessing you have a problem with your game. 🙁
When the event first started, the ‘find Maggie’ game made my Simpson game freeze so I had to uninstall and reinstall Tapped out. So… I haven’t tried ‘Find Maggie’ since then. My turtle tapping mini game however is working properly .

Please explain the losing strategy to me. I reread your notes but couldn’t find it. 😓….💜X
Their is a lot that goes into the losing strategy, which is why it’s the Advanced strategy. It’s a lot harder than just winning; as having a perfect undefeated record is quite easy. I’ll try to simplify it for the sake of a concise reply (note: be forewarned that concise by Safi message standards is a lot longer than concise by most people standards).
Rule #1: Send only 1 character at a time to fight (don’t send a team of 2 or 3).
Rule #2: Try to send a character who is at a disadvantage to the opponents felon (send Brain to lose badly against Brawn, Brawn to lose badly against Tech, and Tech to lose badly against Brain).
Why it works:
When you win, you get 350 event currency. But when you lose, you get 55 and get to keep trying to beat that battle from where you left off.
Now lets say you and I are both battling three 5 heart Brain characters but you are using the Beginner win approach and I the Advanced losing approach.
You would send three 5 heart Brawn characters, cause Brawn has advantage over Brain. You would easily win and get 350 event currency.
I would send only one 2 heart Tech character, cause Tech has DISadvantage under Brain. I would easily lose after I knock out 1 heart. I would get 55 event currency. But now I can repeat this 12 more times, each time hacking away at them one heart after another.On the 13th attempt, my one 2 heart Tech character would be facing off against just the last one Brain character who would be down to his final heart. I’d now win and get the same 350 event currency you got.
Difference:
You got 350 event currency.
I got 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 55 + 350 event currency (an extra 660 currency per battle).

(Actually, I think you’re really the anti-Homer….all that math would send him running for the hills…or straight to Moe’s….or to his hammock to take a nap.)
The simple version is that you only send one fighter into battle at a time, the goal being to chip away slowly at the felons while attempting to allow every one of your fighters to ultimately lose. (Best way of doing that, besides only standing in one at a time, is to pair your fighters up against the type of felon who beats your type of fighter. So, for example, you could put one of your tech fighters up against a brain felon. Depending on how many fighters you have, you may not always need to pair them this way, but the more fighters you have, and the higher they’re ranked, the more you will.)
This strategy works best if you haven’t upgraded your fighters too much…if you’ve got all 5-heart fighters (and a lot of them), you may not be able to have them all lost without first dining out of felons to fight. But you can at least start with only sending one felon into battle at a time.
The reason this is a brilliant strategy is that, not only will you still end up getting the 350 for winning battles, along the way, you’ll also earn 55 for each battle (fighter) you lose.
Does that make sense?

Just reread my response…hopefully, you figured out that “dining” was Swype’s interpretation of my trying to say “running.”
I’ve got to ask…I have followed your site for a long time now. It just crossed my mind that if I picked up every item that you said you were picking up…I think it would have been over $2,000 in real money. Now I’ll assume for the site that either you get something from EA i.e. free donuts for the work you do which is fair I might add or some other form of ad payments? I would love to know if anyone out there has EVERYTHING and if so, what was the cost. It must be outrageous.
Just FYI (and this is all over the site in our posts and Addicts Info) we have NEVER got one single solitary item, donut, compensation, etc from EA. NOTHING. EVER.
We have paid for our donuts out of our own personal pockets again and again and again. Thank goodness for Costco sales on iTunes cards and the Christmas Donut sales that allowed us to load up our games with a couple hundred dollars for thousands of donuts.
We also just play the game. Seriously. There are SOOOOOO many ways to get free donuts from just playing. Just ask any seasoned TSTO Addict here in the Open Thread. They will tell you how they all got theirs too.
Ad Payments from WordPress are pennies. For reals. After our costs to pay for the site, donuts, etc… we usually end up in the red every year or break even. But you know what, we do not mind that. We set out to help OTHERS and that is what we will continue to do for as long as we possibly can. We love it.
Once in a while, I am able to get some cool swag from outside sources (FOX, KidRobot, or random items from others) that I in turn give to our readers here as giveaways. The rest, one of 3 of us bought with our own money while out n about in the real world.
Short story long… We LOVE this site. We LOVE this community. We will continue to push our “Pay It Forward” mentality as in our hearts that is what we do and who we are. 🙂

Yeah, I think his last post was about a week or two before I started visiting here in October 2013.
Him and Alissa wrote a ton before launching the site and many we left as they are still helpful to this day.
Wookiee then joined the team, then me shortly after that as Wookiee pulled me over with him. The 3 Troublemakers have been putting along since. 😉

Getting really frustrated with this. I’m stuck on two quests that require Mr.Burns.
Lvl 27 – Carl’s Rise Up The Ladder Pt. 1
Lvl 31 – Celeb-o-mania Part 3
Been searching all over for ideas.
I’ve tried a lot of the suggestions. Storing Lenny/Carl. Storing Wolfcastle. Then backing out for a while and replace them. Leaving everyone walking around not doing jobs for awhile. I even stored the money mountain because I was convinced that had to the be the issue. Can’t store Burns or the plant, game won’t let me.
There are no other yellow tasks for anyone. All other quests are done thru Lvl 33, except the Sunsphere, because I didn’t build it yet.
Been waiting to start Lvl 34 quest hoping eventually to finish the above two. But decided not to wait anymore and the High School is currently building.
Any other ideas I could try?
Sounds like there are some side quests that need to be finished too around those areas that were triggered to complete them. Did you search the name of your open tasks in your task menu and compare them to our Questlines here to see if completing them will trigger further progress?
I have all the quests in a spreadsheet and check them off as I do them. The only side quest open is the Money Mountain. I even have all the event quests done now, including the individual ones for the super hero skins/new characters.
After I put away the Money Mountain, that task has been removed from Mr.Burns list of tasks, however it remains in my folder list.
I have read others having this issue and they say those quests happen to pop up after they finish money mountain. I really hope that’s not the case, because I had planned on not doing it.
I have to believe It’s either the MM or something is somehow wrong with my Mr Burns, because I cannot put him into inventory. Pretty sure you should be able to stash him away if you want.
I am dreading contacting EA about this issue because I really don’t want to sit on the phone for half an hour for a stupid “issue” like this.
I’ll probably just have to live with those two quests being incomplete. I mean there are no other buildings in either of them, so no real loss anyway.
That’s what I am saying, EA has specific tasks “linked” to each other (even at times linking them later when they add new items into the game at a set Level point). So at times you may think you should progress… but an alternate Side Questline or even Main Questline holds the Progress hostage. It does this a few times throughout the levels. Just do what you can and play when you can to clear the ones that are open. They eventually trigger and you progress on. 😉
Yeah, I understand the linked tasks idea. Unfortunately I believe the side quest that is holding me up is that MM, because I have no other open quests. I don’t want to finish the MM, because I see it as a waste. So I’m going to just move on and leave those three quests incomplete (Lvl 27, Lvl 31, and the MM).
I have some just sitting myself. I never really cared to finish them. Meh. Lol.
I’m pretty sure that money mountain isn’t your problem…I’ve had Bobo sitting in my task list since the mountain was released (or however many tasks into it it took to get the Bobo icon). I was at max level at the time it was released, but I had no problem going up levels (“real” levels) after that, as they were released. I really think you need to look for a different solution (like Vanessa’s) before you spend a ton of money for something you don’t want (unless, in fact, you do want to do it anyway).
I’ve see someone mentioning somewhere a similar issue, they got probles solved by storing all freemium questline related buildings and they placing one by one according to questline order, and the problem got solved because eventually something triggered aparently.
Hope this makes sense, English is not my first language and I’min zombie mode, haven’t slept at all in about 40 hours.

I get accused of that, but it’s not true….unless it’s true (that time)….
If you store the “cooling tower” part of the power plant, it will allow you to store Mr Burns, the power plant is in 3 sections, the main part cannot be stored, but cooling tower can.. I’m not sure if it will help your incomplete task, but it will store Mr Burns. Also, on the task does it have one of the symbols, like how it is red when it is blocked, or the symbol which means action is required?
As of late, that may or may not work. My main Krustyburger, which has Krusty attached to it, recently says “Sorry hoarder you cannot store this”, so can’t bump Krusty out of a task unless the building he is in is storeable. Haven’t tried with Burns lately. Figure it is connected to the event somehow.
Sorry, with my previous comment, normally the cooling towers can be stored, but because this superhero event is connected to him (well the west wing building) it won’t allow it, but you can try storing the cooling tower after the event. Also, do you have any krustyland tasks pending, not sure if that may be a possible solution..
