Superheroes Sequel Prize Guide: Issue 2, Prize 7 Stretch Dude

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

This Event is broken up into 3 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Issue.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Issue you’re tasked with collecting Soliant Red (ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg) to unlock each prize!

The seventh (and final) Issue 2 prize is awarded at 64,750 ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg is Stretch Dude, because Bartman isn’t the only alterego of Bart’s…

  1. I didn’t get enough to get stretch dude before it ended. How do I get him?

  2. I had taken a hiatus from playing and jumped into this superhero event, but am still not able to play as much. I just got the helicopter yesterday and them BAM it’s part 3 now. I see when you don’t earn things like the Bart skin, it says you can buy with donuts, but it’s set up where I have to buy each thing to unlock the next. Doesn’t seem fair! 🙁

  3. Does anyone else find the animation when his mouth area droops all the way down (like when he loses a fight) kindy of ooky? I really dislike it.

    • “ooky”? What does that mean and then maybe I can answer…? I don’t dislike it. At first it seemed weird, but it seems fine now.

      • I guess it’s kind of a portmanteau formed from the words “spooky” and “icky.” When something kind of ooks me out, it’s like it creeps me out, only ickier.

  4. I’ve levelled up all my heroes to max. Got 4000+ gem things left, what can I use them for??

  5. I love being able to zip around town tapping criminals and making bonuts!

  6. It’s a rare thing for me, but I don’t like this costume at all. It’s not as bad as Holiday Homer, but I’d have liked it a lot more if it was actually like the character artwork.

  7. I couldn’t see a reason to run Bart through the tasks until I have to. I’d rather have him push me closer to more bonuts.
..well, until today that is. I am at a point where I can’t get to the next 12,000 before Issue 3.

  8. I find it quite interesting that Bart can fight as either brain or muscle, once you have both of his superhero suits. I also find it interesting that EA recognized that as a potential continuity issue, and blocks you from adding both Barts to any one fight.

    • But then he can die in one fight and still fight in another costume??

      • I think so — though, I almost never play my characters all the way down to zero health, so I can’t say for certain. I’ll make a point of trying that later, and see what happens.

      • So the answer is decidedly yes: I knocked Bart’s “Stretch Dude” skin down to zero health in one battle, and fought with Bart’s “Bartman” skin — with full health — in the very next battle, mere seconds later. They do indeed operate as though the “skins” are separate “characters.”

But then… it IS a cartoon, after all. 😉

        • Thanks! Fun fact.

        • But what if Bartman and Stretch Dude don’t actually have the same alter ego like we think they do. What if one of them is actually Hugo Simpson. Dum dum dum [classic suspense revelation music sound]

Oh wait, nevermind, both are skins for Bart. And Hugo is already in the game skinless.

  9. His task with Lisa didn’t do anything 🙁 Lisa disappears and Bart just walked around by himself doing nothing.

  10. I did give his hop around task with Lisa a go and nothing happens. He just walks around and lisa is nowhere to be found…

  11. The hop around task annoys me! Not hopping so it is simply false advertising! Like Sebastian Cobb’s Get a Haircut task expecting him to go to Jakes but he just walks! Boring EA!

    • I can’t speak to the Bart/Lisa task, but watch Sebastian Cobb the next time you send him on his ‘get a haircut’ task – he walks from a house (don’t remember which one) to Jake’s Barber Shop and back. When leaving Jake’s his hair is short but by the time he arrives at his chosen house his hair is long again, necessitating a new haircut so he walks back to Jake’s. Pretty lame animation but not broken.

  12. Have to love Stretch Dude’s butt wiggle!

With Stretch Dude and Clobber Girl freemium event prizes in Issue 2, I’m less hopeful for Bouncing Battle Baby being freemium in Issue 3. EA rarely makes a full set freemium. Oh well. Will find out soon in under 24 hours.

    • I was thinking the same thing, Safi. I was really hoping for a Maggie skin with a 16-hour task! I can’t bring myself to buy character skins with donuts on principal.

  13. Horrible quest line. 60 hours of indoor tasks.
