Here we are rounding the final Issue of the Second Edition of Superheroes Event! Hope you have been having a POW, ZOINK, PEW PEW good time. 🙂

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 7/13/16, DAY 2 OF ISSUE 3
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Event ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 7970
Crab Juice a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.

Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Issue 3 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Crab Juice.

YES! Once you have collected 103,600 Crab Juice… the Bonus Round will come up. For every 12000 Crab Juice extra you collect, you will get the chance at the 3 Mystery Boxes to get 1, 2, or 3 Free Donuts. WOOHOO!!

Have you finished the boss fight? Lots of crab juice to be earned there. If yes, keep on losing felon battles for higher rewards. Make sure you fight neighbors and try to win each battle. Regularly tap criminals in your town. Good luck!
Got everything except a few craftable items from issue 1. Playing for bonus donuts, but I’m ready for this event to be over. It was fun, but WAY too much work.
Im so far behind I’m in the future
I’m at 99k as of now so I’m pretty confident to make it and get the last prize. I defeated Pinchy a day ago so just churning and beating up bad guys. I tried the lose to win strategy and seemed helpful but dropped it about a week into it. Only have 5 “friends” so don’t get much from other towns or battles.Mistakenly tried the lose to win strategy on the friend battles forgetting You only get to fight 3x win or lose. Overall this was a good event. Better than most I think.
I truly do love these calendars for events, I always worry I’m way behind, especially at times like this where my 16hour per week is stretched 3 fold and I can get to do things 2 maybe 3 times in a day despite say a 4 hours turn over. Have been so whacked out, forgot to even think about checking here. Was sat thinking oh boogers, sure I’m gunna miss this one, then the epiphany hit me check tsto addicts. Highly relieved to see I’m about 20,000 juices ahead. Thank you to all the dudes and dudettes responsible, not only for the calendars, but all game and event info. Heck, without you guys I’d still be fighting to win in battles and losing out on tons of currency, seeing as I’d probably lose a battle of wits against Ralph Wiggan over the past month or so….

I was late to join the event and very busy with work, so I bought the wind lad and solar dude straight away.
I’ve also been playing lose to win since I read about it. I’ve had 308 wins and 1022 losses. That racks up over 55,000 in extra event currency. Basically just sending in one weaker player to every battle. I went camping during event 3, but I’m still two days ahead – mainly made up over the last day or so since the pinchy fight began.
Just keep playing, I was worried, but Pinchy has just turned up and I think I should make it now.

New questline just hit.
As expected, EA has stepped in and provided a solution for those of you who are struggling to keep pace with the calendar and who are worried about unlocking Dr. Crab. They haven’t lowered the amount of Crab Juice required to unlock Dr. Crab. However, they have really made an effort to give everyone a great opportunity to unlock all Prize Track rewards. The new epic conclusion questline that was just released ten minutes ago has taken the reward from 100 Crab Juice in the earlier part of the event to 4,000 Crab Juice for part 1 of this new questline. It appears as though we will continue to be awarded a higher payout than the 100 we’re so accustomed to, and will continue at 4,000 for 6 parts. So that’s 24,000 Crab Juice right there.
Another quick tip, the first part is asking to attack Pinchy with 7 villains. If you send just 6 villains for the first four hours, you can then send all your villains the next four hours. Essentially, since each villain is getting Crab Juice for attacking Pinchy, by doing it this way, you’re getting 6 villains worth of extra Crab Juice (though it will double the questline time for a relatively small amount of Crab Juice payout).
So anyone that was struggling to keep up pace with the calendar should rejoice. And those who had already unlocked Dr. Crab and are on bonuts like myself should rejoice cause we’re gonna get a lot more bonuts now!!!
My guess is this was planned all along, but there wasn’t really any indication to “normal” players that it would be happening. Probably could have been guessed since the first Superhero event had a boss battle as well, but that was a while ago and memories are often poor.
I keep telling people to trust EA (at least as far as something like this goes)…if you play reasonably diligently and intelligently, they’ll pretty much always ensure that you can complete the prize track. Or at least that’s the way it’s been in the two years that I’ve been playing now.
