Superheroes Sequel Prize Guide: Issue 3, Prize 2 X-Ray Truck

Special shoutout and HUGE thanks to Safi for helping to put this prize guide together for me.  Thanks again Safi you gave me one less thing to stress out about during the move! -Alissa

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Up and Atom!  Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Super Sequel on our hands!  But remember…the Sequel isn’t always better than the original.  Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  This super event hit our devices and it’s full of super inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Issue.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Third Issue you’re tasked with collecting Crab Juice (ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg) to unlock each prize!

The second Issue 3 prize awarded at 16,850ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg is the X-Ray Truck, because sometimes you just wanna drive around and look inside people’s homes (right Simp7fan?)!

XrayTruck02

So let’s take a closer look at this second prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Before we get into the X-Ray Truck, you may (or maybe not) have noticed that I did not do a post about the first prize.  That’s because the first prize (awarded at 5,600ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg) is a First Aid Kit (20 Band-Aids).  By now I don’t think we need a detailed explanation about Band-Aids…so I figured a post wasn’t necessary.  Just remember Band-Aids can heal your players after a battle.  1 Band-Aid heals 1 heart.

Now onto the X-Ray Truck….

Once you’ve collected 16,850ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg you’ll automatically be awarded the X-Ray Truck and you’ll see this message popup:

XrayTruck03

And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield or store it in your inventory immediately. Remember if you store it, you’ll have to go into your inventory later to retrieve it.

The X-Ray Truck is a decoration, so there are no tasks for it and no character interactions. And nothing to earn you more ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg . However, it is an animated decoration (when tapped) and a quest does popup prior to unlocking it, with some fun dialogue that makes fun of the prize itself. Here’s a look at that dialogue:

X-Ray Truck
Auto start

Comic Book Guy: Oh I must have the best movie prop collection in all of Springfield. Nay! All of America!
Bart: Dude, you have a lot of small stuff. You’re missing that one big, cool showpiece!
Place the X-Ray Truck
Comic Book Guy: Aha! Now does this quell your vapid criticism?
Bart: You’ve nailed the pig part, but an X-Ray truck? Lame!

And that’s it to the X-Ray Truck. Not much to it… but here are some quick facts about it:

XrayTruck04

Size: 4×4
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Where Can I Place It?: Grass, Pavement, Boardwalk, Pier, or Beach
What Does It Do?: Not much, but it is animated when tapped.

And there you have it; the details behind the X-Ray Truck.

What’s Next?

Bouncing Battle Baby – Awarded at 45,000 ico_cur_superheroes2_soylentred_lg.  This will be the next prize we cover in a rundown post. (Technically the 9-Pack of Science Water is the next prize, but we’ve covered Science Water a bunch so we’re not going to dedicate a post to it)

So that my friends is the full breakdown of the second (and first) Issue 3 prize!

What do you think of the X-Ray Truck? Were you quick to unlock it? Where have you placed it in your Springfield? Is it near the X-Ray Machine? Thoughts on Issue 3?   What are you looking forward to?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love to hear from you!

  1. Would have been nice if Mihouse had a task with this.

  2. Link to next article, bouncing battle baby, is not working.

  3. I posted this on the Open Thread too, but some people only read the latest post.

    New questline just hit.

As expected, EA has stepped in and provided a solution for those of you who are struggling to keep pace with the calendar and who are worried about unlocking Dr. Crab. They haven’t lowered the amount of Crab Juice required to unlock Dr. Crab. However, they have really made an effort to give everyone a great opportunity to unlock all Prize Track rewards. The new epic conclusion questline that was just released ten minutes ago has taken the reward from 100 Crab Juice in the earlier part of the event to 4,000 Crab Juice for part 1 of this new questline. It appears as though we will continue to be awarded a higher payout than the 100 we’re so accustomed to, and will continue at 4,000 for 6 parts. So that’s 24,000 Crab Juice right there.

Another quick tip, the first part is asking to attack Pinchy with 7 villains. If you send just 6 villains for the first four hours, you can then send all your villains the next four hours. Essentially, since each villain is getting Crab Juice for attacking Pinchy, by doing it this way, you’re getting 6 villains worth of extra Crab Juice (though it will double the questline time for a relatively small amount of Crab Juice payout).

So anyone that was struggling to keep up pace with the calendar should rejoice. And those who had already unlocked Dr. Crab and are on bonuts like myself should rejoice cause we’re gonna get a lot more bonuts now!!!

  4. Are we supposed to get Milhouse’s trailer? I can’t see it anywhere.

    • I didn’t say we were getting it. The game didn’t say it was there. So if you read it somewhere else, I can’t attest for what other websites write. 🙂

  5. Did you guys notice that the person under the truck is 1. Fake (kind of like a scarecrow) And 2. Is supposed to be Millhouse

  6. Hey guys. I know you’re busy and probably forgot, but could you post the Issue 3 calendar on the Superheroes 2016 page please when you get time? It will be much appreciated!!! Thank you!!
