Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! This super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane. So it’s time to break out those donuts for their super hideouts because there’s a whole store full of superhero inspired premium items!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Lobster Island to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding lobster crawling island to your ocean.

-Item for the water so it won’t take up valuable land in Springfield
-Fun looking design and is always animated, lobsters walk around the Island and the Buoys bob in the water.

-No benefit for the event
-Just a decoration, no questline/no character interaction

Honestly this one is a complete pass for me. I just don’t think it’s worth it for what it is/does. There are far better items in TSTO to pick up for less than 70 donuts that will benefit you more. So, personally, I feel this is a pass.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’m passing on this one. Just not worth it to me. Of course whatever you decide just remember this item is limited time and will be leaving our games once the event ends. So if you’re thinking about grabbing this one, do so before it leaves our games on the 26th!

I bought it and quite like it but only because it makes use of otherwise redundant ocean.
I’m not going to look for this in one of my neighbor’s town… I’d be too tempted to buy it. 🙂

Ugh, I’m so on the fence. I really wish we could see these things better, full size, before we need to commit to them. So far, none of my neighbours seem to have it. I really love it – weird, because I’m normally able to pass up decorations pretty easily, but it reminds me of the Maritimes and I love the whole idea of it. Like others though, I feel that we need one more strip of water (less expensive though please – it’s hard to pay so much for something we can’t put a lot on), and also the size should be larger I think. When you pay so much for a deco, it should really be eye catching. So, I’m kind of leaning to no, but honestly, I really want to say yes to getting it…. stay tuned, I guess. 😉
I really like it! I also think lobsters are really cute though and I love that they are constantly running around. This is my way of feeling better if we don’t get pinchy as a character. However, it does literally nothing so I can see how people wouldn’t want to spend 70 doughnuts, but I am not sorry for getting it.
It does look really out-of-scale, with that rinky-dink lighthouse, but I suppose I could just pretend it was built by the lobsters…

Heads up, Gil Deal of Radioactive Man movie set with Rainier Wolfcastle portraying Radioactive Man just hit for 150 donuts.
What I would like is that the islands joined together at some point maybe can’t be done technically but I do fancy designing an isthmus.
Or a peninsula!

I got this one. Decent Bonus % and I like anything for the water. I think it looks good offshore of The Heights .
Glad I waited for your post, I’d have been kicking myself in the butt for buying it. Not attractive enough, not cheap enough, not enough of a bonus, definite no for me.

I don’t know why EA wastes time bringing Premium content to the Store that does not offer anything for the Event to benefit Tappers …. but I think most will agree there are better items to spend Donuts on (epic fail EA)!
Nova Scotian lobsters are far superior than PEI lobsters thus a Nova Scotia would be worth the donuts, PEI not so much. (For all my Canadian colleagues, especially from Scotia)
How about Maine lobsters? Living in Massachusetts, that’s what we predominantly get here. Clearly, Scotian lobsters must be the best, but would you rank Maine lobsters above or below PEI lobsters? 😉

I’ve seen this in neighbors’ towns, it looks pretty cool and I like it a lot. If it weren’t so expensive I’d snap it up.
The lighthouse is teeny weeny compared to the other lighthouse I have in my ocean. I bought lobster island cause it reminds me of an old boyfriend’s job of being an ecologist and time I spent with him. Granted it was more shrimp/crawfish related but since this is tiny I could say they’re crawfish. 😉
I’d love the ocean to be one strip wider though. A lot of items are getting crowded along my coastline.

The thought that it resembled Prince Edward Islands does make it better, but still as a predominantly freemium who is very selective about his premium purchases, I can’t spend 70 donuts for 2.5%. If it was 3.5% (20:1 donut to XP% ratio), I’d strongly consider it. But even then, I would be hesitant unless they opened another row of ocean.
I don’t get it tbh! 70 donuts for a decoration??? My OCD kicks in when the proportion of it is messed up when put next to the aqua world items! Who else was expecting it to be bigger and for it to actually fit with the TSTO proportion rule of: characters similiar size but smaller to building? 🙂 Rant over
