Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Just a second reminder that we’ll be doing a Superhero Inspired Springfield Showoff this weekend! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
It’s time to showoff your towns. So send us your Superhero Event deigns and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on Saturday July 23rd…so you’ve got a full week to prep your towns.
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm EDT Friday (7/22). Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us. (don’t worry I’ll still be pulling from the reminder post we put up on Saturday as well…)
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

I did it!! I stitched!! Thank you so much Bunny for your easy peasy stitching post!! I ended up having publisher on my work computer so I did this in about 5 minutes! 😊

It’ll be good to see what people have done for this event… I found most of the buildings uninspiring and have tucked them in the corners with vaguely similar buildings. I’m probably just going to craft horses, as they’re the only thing appealing to me now. Hopefully I can have my mind changed with some cool designs

Here’s what I got so far…(and always to our wonderful moderators, I understand if space is limited and you can’t include all of my images. Just pick which ever ones you think are good enough to be posted🙂)

Lastly my Springfield Heights district. This was all actually placed before this event but since it has many items from this event I thought I would include it. Also, The fence design is not mine. It was posted during the first heroes event and I decided to incorporate it into my town. I just wish I could remember who originally posted the fence design so I can give them credit for the idea. If anyone knows give them a shout for me!

I really like this. Good clean lines. The news van and ambulance at the “what could possibly go wrong” film set is a nice touch.
1) Do you work for Hollywood special effects or magazine photoshop editing?
2) What did you use to stitch this and make all the background minutia disappear?
1. Illustrator and graphic designer. 2. Used Photoshop to trace out the backgrounds.

Love the layout and details of the movie set area. And awesome placement of Orphan Alley.
I’m never quick enough for the showoffs. I like to wait until the end of the event when I’ve crafted everything and won all the prizes before I start to design!

Yeah, it’s definitely easier to arrange and design post-event for me too.
And because I have an older device, designing is very difficult during events because of the unbearable lag, but it’s fine when the event is over 🙂
dr lenny’s lab was the one building i was unsure of where i would place… until i unlocked it. i played through the first superheroes event, so i already had my superheroes hq and burns state prison placed side by side. but when i unlocked dr lenny’s lab, i realized it would go well next to the prison, like an alcatraz on the rock. so i removed the hq and put the lab in its place, then wrapped it in biohazard walls and towers to emphasize the the max security. managed to get the screen cap with the monorail going by and the wisps of clouds present. now i just gotta find a new place for the hq… 🙇
