Superheroes Sequel Prize Guide: Issue 3, Prize 7 Dr. Crab

Special shoutout and HUGE thanks to Safi for helping to put this prize guide together for me.  Thanks again Safi you gave me one less thing to stress out about during the move! -Alissa

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Up and Atom!  Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Super Sequel on our hands!  But remember…the Sequel isn’t always better than the original.  Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  This super event hit our devices and it’s full of super inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Issues, with each Issue containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Issue.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Third Issue you’re tasked with collecting Crab Juice (ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg) to unlock each prize!

The seventh and final Issue 3 prize awarded at 103,600ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg  is Dr. Crab, because “he told you he vud be back… and vil get Radioactive Man next time”!

DrCrab02

So let’s take a closer look at this final prize and just what happens when you unlock him in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 103,600ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg  you’ll automatically be awarded Dr. Crab and you’ll see this message popup:

DrCrab03

And you’ll have the ability to store or place him in your Springfield.  If you store him remember you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve him later.

If you decide to place him, Dr. Crab will join your Springfield and you’ll see his character unlock message popup:

DrCrab04

And he’s part of the Super Villains Character Collection:

DrCrab05

If you have all the other Super Villains, you will receive $1500, 30xp for completing the set.

Dr. Crab does come with a questline, which will start right up for you once you’ve won him. Here’s a look at the Turbo Tappin’ Version of the questline:

Fishing For Compliments Pt. 1
Dr. Crab starts

Make Dr. Crab Study Nuclear Plant Workers- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp

Fishing For Compliments Pt. 2

This questline will remain after the event is over.  So there is no rush to complete it… However, as this is the last prize, unless you’re not done the main event questline, there is no reason to delay it either.

And here’s a look at Dr. Crab’s permanent tasks:

And there you have it, the details behind Dr. Crab.  The latest to join the crew that can battle Felons in your Springfield!

What’s Next?

ico_wildwest_3donut_md BONUTS!!!

Congratulations, you’ve finished all of the Issue 3 Prizes!  Now it’s time to collect Bonuts!  For every 12,000ico_cur_superheroes2_crabjuice_lg  you collect you’ll have a chance for 1, 2 or 3 donuts!  Sweet huh?

So just relax and collect those free donuts while you can, and hang tight until the event takedown update hits us over the next few days.

Reminder, to maximize your bonut window, don’t download the takedown update until either you’re forced to do so or this site mentions a new event or mini-event has hit our games.

  1. wow. living on borrowed time …. xP. missed a day because i was at the dr’s office after i fell off a chair at DQ. the bolts broke due to wear-n-tear and i happened to be the one it broke apart on. *uggh* finally got that dr. crab <> << ironic tho, right?

  2. I got there with 7 hours to spare. Thought that was decent timing!

  3. Just to clarify, there’s no actual death ray being built here, just an animation sequence? Given that the last task is 24 hours and it’ll likely force an update, I didn’t want to update without getting any remaining build items.

  4. I’m a little confused how so many had problems with this event. My phone died the day before I went on vacation and once a day I was able to use my sister’s phone to play and still had no problem. Maybe it’s my premium characters and buildings, not sure but thought it was easy.

    • Was just thinking about you earlier today…glad to see you’re still around! 🙂

      • I hadn’t seen my family in two years. Had a much needed sold three weeks of family time.

        • Oh, that’s right….I forgot about your big trip home! How did it go??

Are you happy to be back in the city now? It must seem louder for the first day or so…

          • It was great. Very relaxing but very glad to be home. Actually the noise is one of the things I missed the most. Fell asleep in my backyard just listening.

  5. All I know is that when the Battle Pinch thing started, each level was worth 4000 juices. At the final level, it said it was then only worth 1000 juices. This is the first event in a long time that I will not get all of the prizes. Only being able to fight 3 battles in friends’ towns per day also was a real downer. It seemed like event currency was way harder to come by for this event. Fruitbat man had no currency earning tasks, and neither did Sidekick Millhouse. I thought they did a poor job on this event. Not as bad as the prize wheel, but pretty bad.

  6. Do you know if he retains his crab form at the end of the tasks? Something made me think he’s on a quest to go back to being a human. I hope not, it might sound silly but I think it’s a cute character and easily recognizable walking around Sprinfield.

  7. I can’t stop thinking:

“MR. CRABS! MR. CRABS! MR. CRABS!!!”

    “WHAT? WHAT? WHAT???”

    “PATRICK! PATRICK! PATRICK!!!”

    “YES? YES? YES?”

“HE SAID, HE SAID, HE SAID…!!!”

    “OUT WITH IT, BOY!!!”

  8. IT says under 4 hours left to event and I am short about 3000 crab juice. It wants 45 donuts to get Dr Crab now. I’ll see how much lower I can get that price and then decide if I want to spend donuts to get Dr Crab. But if I get up in the morning to find that I didn’t need to do that because they didn’t end on schedule I will be really unhappy.

  9. Just
    Tapped
    Out

Not sure if it was the three week duration, or just not getting into it but I simply didn’t enjoy this event at all. Tried hard the first week and the week ended again and I didn’t get the end tasks done or enough thousands of item X collected to get it. And I just didn’t care that much.

How do you guys do it. Checking the game every four hours or do? Do you get more rewards if you have many friends towns to visit to get more criminals tapped?

I really liked the castle event, and the Wild West was fun, but no gold ever was really found. But this one was just, to me.

    Meh.

How do the rest of you hang in there enough to get all the prizes every week and then get bonus donuts? Serious question.

    • I have lots of fun! Had everything with 8 days to go. After that it was a bit boring. I have lots of characters and lots of friends. I guess like others on this site,I am a bit addicted. Already excited for whatever is next. I am really hoping for an olympic event.

      • If you finished everything with 8 days remaining then take it from me you are certainly addicted !!!
I managed to finish with about 3 days to spare but found it tough going, enjoyable though.
Thanks for all of the teams efforts in keeping us tappers up to date with info etc throughout.

    • I work from home so I have the freedom to play whenever I want. Usually I open my game once an hour, more if the event calls for it. Basically just get in and clear tasks, clear NPCs, make sure I’m keeping up with the questline. Friend visits don’t make too much of a difference imo, but diligent and strategic tapping does!

    • Hey There:

You are not the only one with Event Blues. I stopped playing at the start of issue 2 and I still have not opened to game since. I could not do anymore events. Still can’t. I need a break. I think this is normal. When I’m sending people on 24 hour tasks, I’m fine to check it once a day but when events require every 4 hours, I start to lose my mind. I will get back into the game, just need a vacation!

      Vivianne

    • I have to say I agree, this is the first event in ages that I haven’t taken to, and the first one I’ve not finished with all the prizes – so busy at work and simply couldn’t put in the time required

    • Jennifer David

I’ve been playing about 1.5 years and this is the first event that really burned me out. I usually finish each act with 4 or 5 days left over for bonuts but could barely maintain enough interest to get to the end of the last act yesterday. No bonuts this time. I usually don’t mind checking in every 4 hours but the battles were a chore.

    • Playing the “lose to win” strategy made a BIG difference for this event (and especially issue 3)…in general, this was an event where strategizing really helped in general. Every four hours was sufficient…it was a case of “working smarter, not harder” (or maybe just a little bit harder). And, as with all events, and the game in general, yes, visiting neighbors really helps. You should always make sure to get enough neighbors to at least be able to collect all of the event currency from neighbor visits that you can.

    • In all fairness, I should also add that out probably helped if one had participated in the first superheroes event, since that meant you had more fighters to work with, too.

I got most items pretty early so Dr Crab was the only thing left to get, I slackened off thinking it would be just as easy. Now I’m sitting here with 8 hrs remaining and 10K units short of getting him. Now I’m sad knowing I’ll miss him, but still tapping criminals in desperation, vainly waiting for a miracle…

  11. I got him a couple of days ago, so far i like him. 2 bonut rounds for me 🙂

  12. I have all these chits and I don,t want any of these prizes. How many trash cans and clotheslines, etc can you use.

  13. I feel Dr. Crabs 1 hour task should be at the Sqiudport entrance or on the beach

  14. Helen pickford

Ive not got many of the prizes off the 1st and 2nd lot of prizes due to crashing all the time and not being able to do battles I tried to keep up on the last lot of prizes the best I could but now I’m going to lose crab due to needing one more battle I really don’t know what’s gone wrong with this game I’m really upset . I will also lose out on burns mansion !

  15. sherry hegenbarth

im not sure how i got behind, i have played every day… i may not get the crab guy and i sure wont get the group bonus ill miss it by 1 battle…

  16. I think that we get an “Issue 4” as we got in the first Superheroes event, and more prizes!

  17. No Pinchy emerging out of the crab shell. No PichII:-(

  18. Spent the last 3.5 days working on my parents tool shed and started a new job today. Just got my ninth round of bonuts in my eighth day since unlocking Dr. Crab, which is awesome. But can’t help but calculate how many extra rounds of bonuts I could have had, had I been playing instead of building and organizing that shelving unit in the tool shed.

    • justinmwat151

If it makes you feel any better, you still got 6 more rounds than I got 🙂

      • No, not really. I’d feel better if you and everyone else got as many rounds of bonuts as me. The only person I’d like to compete with is myself. I’d have felt better had I known I gave 100%.

        • Ease up on yourself! Perfection is overrated. Monomania isn’t healthy. Take time to stop to smell the roses (or the sawdust or whatever)! 🙂
