As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
With the Springfield Games Mini Event ending (tomorrow!), I thought now would be a good time to take a look at what everyone did with all that stuff. Since it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time! You guys have some great designs and ideas for all this super inspired stuff…so let’s take a look:

awesome stuff guys! alison nice work with the USA sign in front of the sf games cauldron; braveelfgirl awesome go kart compound; britt you’ve become quite the 3D sensei, love the stadium setup; dapimp i like what you did surrounding the go kart track prize with another track full of bumper cars, making it look like the area in the middle is the pit for broke down karts; hedgygagne, what can i say that hasn’t already been said, other than your screen cap makes me wanna spend 250 donuts to purchase the sf gorge just for that; iritzeevi great idea using the basketball court from the superheroes event in your sports complex, and great job conveying a soccer field despite not having lines or corner flags; jpopo nice flag placement; kaiserofmetal i like the testosterone zone you’ve created; milpool love that dais you put the sf games cauldron on, and the precise clean lines of your layout; noob_sauce your squidport is that pro_sauce, especially with the addition of the half pipe, i’m diggin that recreation/fun zone district you got going on, and your placement of the laser tag building is one of the better ones i’ve seen; rshelton another excellent take on a sports complex, so many cool details; simpsons rule another nice flag placement job; smitty love all the extra barrels next to the sf games podium; zoltrax really impressive work with that cristo monument, how many items total?

You can say that again Sean! Every time I visit Tape’s town I feel like I need to spend more time designing mine! I sure hope this ‘change’ that’s coming helps the crashing I experience trying to visit my neighbors. I’ve got SO many neighbors visiting me & I feel terrible that I can’t visit more than 3 neighbors w/o my game crashing. It makes for some VERY slow visiting. 😥 RachelS
Oh. Sounds like a memory and storage issue you have. For me it is the find Maggie game. Game will freeze when I play this game. Minimum I need five minutes for the game to resume.
No, I have tons of memory; almost 50 gigs open on my iPad, tho’ I do think it’s Apple related. This all just started sometime this past year. I never had a crash the first couple years I played. It seems to have gotten somewhat better since they changed things & don’t support the old iOS stuff anymore. I’m not crashing visiting friends like I used to, but my game crashed at least 4 times today – twice just as I was starting to play the sci-fi game. I do have a big town, tho’ I’ve stored most npcs, building that don’t pay out, lots of decos & disabled my monorail. That helps. I guess we’ll see! RachelS
Oh I see. I was out of this game for more than a year due to a compulsory update required on IOS on my 3GS iPhone in order to play the game. Due to no working PC, I couldn’t run iTunes. So I am back later after getting an android phone when my iPhone died.

Wow! Some great designs, I’m loving the use of the dirt track and I love how Hedgygayne has placed the Christian of Springfield above Springfield Gorge … I am almost thinking of a last minute purchave so I can do the same.
I actually just did that 5 min ago. Wasn’t gonna buy it until I seen it above the gorge. Thanks Hedgygagne, that was brilliant!

Doughnut farming. Buy hundreds, if not thousands of blood mobiles and rat trap trucks. You’ll be at level 939 in 20 minutes, the XP collected from this is insane. Spend the doughnuts to turn on your on your XP bonus thing too. Sell back the trucks when you’re done.

And I don’t think it was done intentionally to tease it. I think it was done intentionally in preparation for the upgrade for getting in-game help. Since that’s not currently available.
