Sci-Fi Prize Guide: Act 1, Prize 1 Skyberdine Systems

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The nerds have invaded Springfield!  Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad.  And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields! This multiverse event hit our devices and it’s full of alternate universe inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Dark Matter (indicator_scifi_darkmatter) to unlock each prize!

The first Act 1 Prize is awarded at 1,6oo indicator_scifi_darkmatter is Skyberdine Systems, because you can’t have a futuristic event without a futuristic HQ…

So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 1,600 indicator_scifi_darkmatter you’ll automatically be awarded Skyberdine Systems and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later.  Remember if you store it you’ll have to go back into your inventory to retrieve it.

Skyberdine Systems does not come with a questline (other than the initial one telling you to unlock it) and initially there are no tasks there.  Nothing to help you earn more indicator_scifi_darkmatter…just unlock the prize and move on.

Here are some quick facts about Skyberdine Systems:

  1. I like it that so far all the buildings have at least one task to animate it. Naturally, Herman, Willie, Cookie, the Rev, Robo-Burns and Maggie are on round the clock duty to light up my future-town. Just now, I was wondering why no one had a task at Skyberdine Systems, when I read this post – Sgt. Skinner! Thanks 🙂

  2. I really like the terminator references associated with this building and I’m glad this has character interaction with this. 🤖 😄

  3. Looks cool, calls for a lot of redesigning.

  4. Maybe I missed it, but have you posted anything about the crafting prizes?

    • Have not had a chance to yet. Game keeps hitting us with more time sensitive material. And since crafting is around for the whole event…prizes won’t leave until the event ends…it’s not as time critical. But I’m slowly working on it 🙂

  5. I don’t know if I posted this here (or just dreamed I did) but I got my wish anyway – Robots, Robots, Robots!! We even get to kill them with a flash.

Marge: What is it with you and robots?

  6. Who has the task at the dome-icile?

  7. This is all going to make a great futureworld.

Does anyone know if Rocker Maggie is a skin or a.separate character?

OTOH, my Daily Task awarded me 1500 Event Currency. I’m now less than 6000 from Sgt. Skinner and working on Level 9.

    Fog-get-about this,
What about the Gil Deal? 🤑🤑🤑
If only the emoji had donuts instead of dollars.

  10. When visiting my neighbors, I see Bart walking around in a giant robot suit in some towns. Anyone know what this is?

  11. I like this building. it’s very futuristic!

There’s lots of new stuff in the store…very tempting, especially the Gil deal but I’m saving for Frink!
