The nerds have invaded Springfield! Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad. And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields!
And, like all events, the Sci-Fi Event has brought new premium characters to our towns! Fun new multiverse characters to explore and bring into the fold of Springfield. Of course these characters all come with their own questlines to guide us through their trip to Springfield (and help earn more 
).

Hey there – just got Robo Burns from the Shattered Dreams box and doing tasks – but on part 6 – I have no 16hr task for Homer available. I have had all characters not on jobs in case. Any suggestions to why this may be?

This might seem like a silly question, but is Robo Burns and the Smithers dog just new skins for Burns & Smithers ? Or totally different characters? I want to make sure before spending my precious donuts.

I got RoboBurns today. I am loving these two new characters!
The Robo Burns, Doggie Smither, and building combo was a no-brainer for 100 donuts, but the Rockstar Maggie and Springfield Hyperstadium combo was only ok for 160 donuts. I ended up getting both because the first combo was such an incredible deal and Rockstar Maggie was so badass…

Bought RoboBurns right off. Classic character, the animations and, especially, the new audio that comes with him was very worth it. Wish there were more with the Smithers that comes along with him, the Smithers dog does pretty much nothing. Rockstar Maggie does not seem as worth it, but we’ll see how I feel in a day or two when the donuts build up again.
Why does roboBurns have a questline but not doggie smithers? If they are two separate characters, they both should have one.
I was waiting for the review before deciding about Rockstar Maggie. But yesterday the offer is gone from my screen. Did I wait too long or is this another “disappearing Gil offer” like with Duff Gardens earlier this year?
It should still be there. Did you try scrolling left and right in your store?
I scrolled left & right, & looked everywhere in the store. Will try the usual log out & back in, and then delete & reload the game next.
ugh i hope it’s not another disappearing Gil deal. It’s so frustrating when that happens. If you don’t see it contact EA (you can do it via your game) and let them know…
Mine also seems to be gone, which is the 1st time a Gil deal has gone missing for me. :'(

Rock star Maggie is a girl thing, but still available when I just looked, 160 d’nuts, would love her, but splurged on burns/smithers simply due to the matter of matter available 🙂
Rockstar Maggie can also play at the open air theatre after part 5 is completed – win!
I bought Robo Burns and Doggie Smithers and every time I use the 4-hour instant jobs Robo Burns and Smithers are left jobless even though they have a 4 hour rush task together. Is this a bug or is tthere some reason they don’t so the rush jobs like everyone else? Also, where’s all my debris?!?!

Joint tasks usually don’t get auto assigned via the unemployment office. So that’s what they is happening..
As far as your debris…huh? Do you mean the debris we get from the Rocket Ship launches? If that’s the case..check your inventory.
I wonder if the youngsters task in part 5 sticks around if you don’t complete the Maggie part, like the fugu did for the Hungry Sumo?
I bought roboburns straight way but not going by rock star Maggie it to big and I by ladybot when it come out and some other decoration
