Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The nerds have invaded Springfield! Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad. And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields! This multiverse event hit our devices and it’s full of alternate universe inspired decorations, buildings & characters!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Dark Matter (
) to unlock each prize!
The fourth Act 1 Prize is awarded at 18,000 is the Holo-Theater, because Itchy and Scratchy need to find their way into the future too…
So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 18,000 you’ll automatically be awarded the Holo Theater and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go back into your inventory to retrieve it.
The Holo-Theater does not come with a questline (other than the initial one telling you to unlock it). Nothing to help you earn more …just unlock the prize and move on.

Meh – tnis was as lame as an NPC an I think 90% of my Neighboreenos must be in agreement (since most are concentrating on Freemiums from Crafting)!!
Epic Fail EA , Epic Fail!!
Yeah I won’t reach the goal to get skinner , long time player and I have played every event for years and never had a problem getting all the prizes . My city doesn’t spawn enough robots and I’m not getting anywhere near Skinner at this rate I’ll be lucky to get the Theater . This has been a very disappointing event ….
I must say I’ve not been getting anywhere close to the amount needed to get Skinner. I probably haven’t played as much as other events, but this one feels much harder unless you get the daily tasks that give 1100.
Is Sgt. Skinner a costume, or a seperate character from Seymour?

Dear EA,
LET US PLACE THIS and other event items IN KRUSTYLAND! Some of us still visit and use it.
Sgt. Skinner should have had an “eye patch” like Sgt. Rock and Nick Fury!!
Maybe one day EA will get this crashing deal fixed. I mean it’s only been about 6 months of this crap if not longer. I have many GB available in my phone so they can’t blame it on us. There is some stupid reason it takes it crashes constantly while visiting friends. It’s maddening.
I have plenty of room on my tablet and most of the crashing occurs during visits. I’ve started restarting my tablet right before visiting, and this seems to have eliminated 90% of the crashes. I also clean the cache every week.
It may very well be in the programming, and recent iOS updates. My padular device has become horrible with friend visits since my last OS update. It may be that EA isn’t moving forward with compatibility issues as much as they are implying. Really hard to say.

My brother’s a programmer, and he always complains of sloppy programming that wastes resources. This feels like someone, somewhere is making zero effort to manage memory properly.

I am not crashing on neighbor visits, now, but I do crash after 5 or so minutes in game, usually after I have tapped most or all of the buildings and characters. But the game also waits to crash right when I am about to collect the Insanity Cauldron reward. The good news though is that when I log back in there is a 5 minute timer on the Cauldron as it resets for a quick re-attempt. Also happened once on a Maggie search, and didn’t reset. Blurgh.
Me too. Mine doesn’t really crash visitng neighbours (maybe the random friend that has a huge town and a huge Monorail and takes forever to load) but does regularly 2 to five minutes into the game, and often during the Maggie game which luckily resets to a few minutes ahead instead of the full 16 hours (while the Cauldron reset for the full eight hours) 😀
I haven’t recently deleted and re-downloaded the game which might help? because without Wi-Fi it takes foreeeeever. I’ve got plenty of room on my phone, but well yeah at least it’s not as bad as it was during Superheroes.
you on ios or android? i don’t play the game on any ios device, just an android tablet and phone….. and i have zero crashes when visiting neighbors. it’s truly never been an issue for me, i couldn’t imagine 6 months of dealing with that….
8:00 here. In 4 hours my Sci-Fi fight recharges.
I’m 400 away from Sgt. Skinner and my Dail Task will award me 250,
with my next Sci-Fi fight.
400 minus 250 = 150
165 for my Alternate Homers plus 80 from my robots puts me ~100 over the goal.
I’ll soon find out if the extra carries over toward Bonuts.

Little bit out of topic but don’t know were else to post, when happen a building the dialogue boix telling akk about the building obscures the building and its effects spoiling the look , possible suggestion to ea or open thread?
