Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the either the Future-Proofed Home and LadyBot Combo, Frink Bundle OR just the Future-Proofed Home to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these futuristic combos to your Springfield…
Ok before I get into the LadyBot and Future-Proofed Home I’m going to tell you…BUY THE FRINK DEAL! It’s one of the best offers in the game…TWO Characters plus a building for 125 donuts. Buy it. If you need more, here’s the SIB for Frink

Pros:
-Premium character (earns 50% more on all cash and XP) with a full set of tasks and questline.
-Questline earns an additional 396 
-Once you’ve completed her questline she’ll continue to earn, at a premium rate, event currency at the PolyVac (66/4hrs)
-Carl has a task at the Future-Proofed Home, “Drink Future-Proofed Liquor” (7hrs, earns $250, 60xp)
-Future-Proofed Home is animated when in use. Lights turn on and the satellite dish turns
Cons:
-LadyBot does not use the Future-Proofed House
-LadyBot is not voiced

If the LadyBot +Future-Proofed House is offered in your game…BUY IT. 100 donuts for a premium combo is ALWAYS worth it at any level. So buy it. She’ll help with event currency, her questline is pretty amusing and she has fun outdoor tasks. And the Future-Proofed House will have a character use it.
However, if you’re offered the Frink Deal (BUY IT!) and the Future-Proofed House is separate, i’d pass. As a stand alone I don’t think the Future-Proofed House is worth it. It’s a throw in with the LadyBot, but on it’s own it’s just not worth it.
So conclusion…BUY the LadyBot. Whether in the Frink Deal or the Combo with the Future-Proofed Home. But DO NOT BUY the Future-Proofed Home on it’s own (45 donuts).
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I already own it. I got it as soon as it hit the store…too good of a price to pass up. Of course whatever you decide just remember this is limited time and will be leaving our games very soon (September 13th). So if you’re thinking about grabbing it, do it very soon before it’s gone for good!

Not sure if this will get read, since it’s an older article, but has anyone else had issues getting the Ladybot story to advance? I got her through the second quest, with Milhouse and the bullies, and then nothing else appeared. I also can’t get her to earn chronons as a result, so she’s just walking free in my town. Any tips on this? Is it widespread or just me?
I was having the same problem until it got sorted out a little bit ago: Hawking advances the Smack to the Future quest line and after part 2, she is able to earn those Cronons at the PolyVac. I read a bunch of walkthroughs for LadyBot and none of them mentioned this, so I was just as lost as to why her task hadn’t come up.
its weird but once i bought the frink deal (lab, ladybug and all), the future proofed home disappear from the store, so i can’t buy it…. any ideas why?
No idea why, but it happened to everyone in that situation. 🙁
Never mind about LadyBot’s questline. All I was worried about was when she starts to earn event currency and she does that right away.
Is LadyBot’s quest line posted somewhere? I looked through all the comments and only saw spoilers for Ex-Machina 😀
Is anyone else having problems finding Lady Bot’so task at the PolyVac? I’m done with her quest line, and got the pop up saying she helps with the Homers’ quest at the PolyVac…and there’s no option for her there. Am I missing something?

I didn’t even think about this. As soon as I logged in the firsdt time on Act 2 I bought the Drink deal immediately. I’ve wanted him for a vlong time and was waiting on a sale. Glavin!
I’m having trouble with the LadyBot’s questline. I just finished the second part (Milhouse hiding), and then nothing. No continuation or event currency earning task. I tried the typical solutions of hard closing and Krustyland, but nothing. What should I do?
Same issue. I contacted EA but no resolution yet.
EA sent me a response that suggested a comprehensive list of troubleshooting steps, most of which I had already done, and closed the case. If that’s it, what a waste of donuts! Is anyone else experiencing this issue other than the two of us?
I am as well, and almost didn’t realize it. Bought the combo yesterday and it stopped with Milhouse. Woke up this morning, started playing, realized she wasn’t at the poly-vac, and came back to reread this post! I am going to contact EA and cross my fingers they are more helpful compared to what you experienced! This is frustrating!!!
Try looking at Frink’s lab – when I checked just now, there was a (!) above it that, when tapped, allowed the quest line to continue.
Yep, that did it. When I logged in after reading your comment, I noticed an in-game update loaded. Wonder if that included a fix related to this. Either way, definitely a thumbs-down for EA support.
I don’t think the (!) by Frink’s lab was there from the get-go. It seemed to show up after a bit. When it did, things began progressing again and the Ladybot tasks re-appeared in the task bar.
I’d keep looking around Frink’s lab (I think this was where Milhouse was when the game glitched), and maybe it will show up eventually.
omg thank you. i have been frustrated by this ever since i noticed i was missing the questline. i have frink’s lab a bit out so i never would have seen the (!).
So I bought the frinks lab ladybot combo, but ladybot is nowhere to be found. When I made the purchase there was a popup saying “Ladybot is in Springfield” (or something like that, I didn’t read it carefully before I dismissed it). Anyway, point is Frink has a bunch of tasks and ladybot has not arrived. What do I do!?!?! Will she just show up after Frink has completed all these non future related – another frustration – tasks? I bought into this deal to help with this event and precious time is just ticking away and so far I have nothing to show for it.

It pays to read popup. Mine said she was in my inventory.
I dropped donuts on Frink/Ladybot. Frink on his own never appealed enough to spend donuts on but the combo and event currency was a no-brainer. I missed out on Sgt Skinner by 2000 despite tapping regularly and I didn’t want to miss out on President Simpson. That Frinks helps out with Heights put the combo ahead of Elysium as well – I didn’t want both.
Been coveting Frink for years so this was a no brainier. Little bummed there is no dialogue with Frink’s quest line, but there’s dialogue with ladybot’s and got both for a price cheaper than Frink alone, so not complaining.
This event is filled with soooooo many buildings. I went ahead and got the future Springfield sign cause I’m clearly gonna have to set up a separate future town for all the buildings.

I had Frink already, but with the tight schedule for getting chronons I picked her up.
Is the house a riff on Troy McLure’s house? It sure looks like the one from “A Fish Called Selma”. For that reason alone I like the deal. Because what does the robot from Ex Machina have to do with the Simpsons?

Servers are really buggy today and I’m getting kicked out about twice an hour, hope they fix this.
You’re lucky to be getting in at all…I haven’t been able to get in for 4-5 hours now!
I’m in the UK so I don’t know if that helps. I still can’t add or delete neighbours but apart from that and being kicked out about once an hour I’m fine.
