Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The nerds have invaded Springfield! Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad. And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields! This multiverse event hit our devices and it’s full of alternate universe inspired decorations, buildings & characters!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Chronons (
) to unlock each prize!
The second Act 2 Prize is awarded at 9,2oo is the Future Simpson’s House, because sometimes change very little in the future…
So let’s take a closer look at this second prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 9,200 you’ll automatically be awarded the Future Simpson’s House and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have an option to place or store it for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory later to retrieve it.
The Future Simpson House is a new building for Springfield, NOT a Facade for the current Simpson House. So with this you’ll have two Simpson Houses in Springfield. The House does not come with a questline, so there’s nothing to help you earn more . Just unlock and build the house and move on.

Size: 6×10
Build Time: 4hr Build Time
Conform-O-Meter: Indolence +20
What Does it Do?: Another building for Springfield. Mooch Bart has some tasks there. It’s animated when in use, similarly to the regular Simpson House (window opens when in use). Also the Satellite Dish on top of the house moves when in use.

“meh” – that’s how I describe Act Two, because these Buildings should have come with permanent Tasks for our New Characters (if I only wanted new Buildings? I’d craft them an ignore this Event – oops looks like I have Neighboreenos already doing this) …. 🙁
At least most of them did come with permanent tasks for some existing characters (and for a time frame they didn’t have before, so I do like that…).
Why is Act 3 so short. Are we really only going to have a week to complete it?

Slightly off topic, but want to make sure that everyone knows that the teleporters hit the store today! I picked up the new pair as fast as my little fingers could tap! 😀
Do the teleporters come with a money and xp bonus?

They each come with a .5% bonus and I think 44xp when placed 🙂
I may be wrong, but I believe only the two new teleporters (or just the two ones?) give a bonus multiplier.

This event is going to take some major redesigning. I’ll wait till act 3 to see what else is coming.
I’m about to unlock president Lisa (about 90 minutes to go…) 😀 So those premium characters did pay off after all. I have a question: can I wait with ella Presidente’s quests until act 3 to get the new currency? I’d rather get those than (maybe) a few bonuts…

I wish I would have waited. I just unlocked her not even 5 minutes ago and set her on her first quest already. I was just super happy to have President Lisa! I would be awesome if they released a quest line with her character as we get closer to the election.
Same here…I unlocked her, and instinctively sent her off on her first task. D’oh! She finished it and is now waiting until Act 3 to continue.
I had another “d’oh!” moment. Got the task for buying a demo with future bucks, 1100 chronons payout. Should’ve held onto that one for the next act, but it did get me to my first round of bonuts. So, sorta-win.
I got this a few days ago. I like the look, but I think it should have been a facade. Having two Simpson houses doesn’t make much sense to me.
I’ve also already unlocked the Astro house and am working on the next prize. I am loving this event. I am going to have so many new buildings when its done. I am hoping to create a small area for all this stuff and put Frinks lab in the middle so it’s like a big research compound for him.
I really wish EA would develop a conversion for event items so we could sell back unwanted stuff for cash. I have several decorations I know I will never use and would rather just get some money for them. It would also be cool if we could sell back premium items for donuts, even if it’s less than the original price. I dont need a dozen itchy and scratchy billboards or three lard lad donuts in my town.
On an unrelated note, has EA ever released a college? The one Homer went to with his nerd roommates would be a cool addition.
Not sure, but wasn’t the name of the college Springfield Heights Institute of Technology (S.H.I.T. for short — how did thát get past the censors…😅)? Then you already have it in Springfield Heights, to make the smart devices…
Naw, it was Springfield University.
They got past the censors the same way that the Bank of Springfield and La Belle Frottage (if you don’t know what that is, don’t Google it at work) got past them (ie they didn’t notice).
There should totally be a mini-event after this one (considering it’s the start of the semester) revolving around the rivalry between Springfield U and Springfield A&M!
I’d love a college-themed event, but I’d rather they saved it for a full event than use up that idea on a mini-event. There are so many possible characters and buildings that could be put into that one!
I don’t agree about the Simpson house: we are supposed to build “future Springfield”, and it needs future Simpson House. What would be the point of having future Simpson house in present Springfield? Also note, that Rockstar Maggie, Mooch Bart and President Lisa are separate characters, so they need a separate house. I hope Act 3 will allow us to get the complete future family 🙂
Really like this house! I’m so glad it isn’t a skin, because then I’d never use it! I’m thinking about building a future neighbourhood area but I don’t really have any futuristic houses to put next to the Simpsons one!
Several of the craftables/prizes are meant to be futuristic houses, like the Dome-icile, but I agree that they don’t really match in style with the future Simpson’s house. But I also agree that they shouldn’t be skins, because they’re meant to be part of another (future) world.
I haven’t figured out how I’m going to design with this stuff and what’s going to end up going into storage….I think I’ll wait until I finish the crafting track and have the Act 3 stuff before I try to figure it all out.
I mean, the whole joke of the Future Simpsons house is that while everything else gets a slick futuristic upgrade, they’re still living in the same dump, just with some Homer-esque add-ons. Pity there’s no compost heap, though.
Incidentally, if anyone hasn’t noticed, the building graphic is 3-sided!

i placed homer’s dream home behind the future simpsons house to try and give it more of a futuristic look. i also put it near the self reliant home and future proofed home, and am thinking of how i will be able to add the ultrahouse (and one more upcoming future home) to the area when it becomes available.
I’m going for something where the one “normal” house is surrounded by futuristic houses (a bit like the opening of Up)
