Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The nerds have invaded Springfield! Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad. And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields!
Act three arrived earlier today, with a whole new questline to work our way through!
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 runs until September 20th, and you’ll need Hawking free to get things started.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to close the black hole and FINALLY restore order to Springfield…

mine keeps deleting its own data files to download over and over again automatically every time i try to tap….
Hard close your game, clear your cache, uninstall TSTO, restart your device, redownload TSTO. That should correct it. If it doesn’t contact EA.
Don’t sit on your hands, otherwise you may miss out on it. If the uninstall process doesn’t work you’ll need to contact EA. They can restore the items to your town.
This is almost always caused by a corruption in the download…usually clearing your cache and fully uninstalling and reinstalling solves the problem. but make sure you restart your device in between.
I cannot get the last “Use the Polyvac to defend against MechaHawk”. I don’t know if it’s glitching or what but I’ve beat him 4 times now and it never updates. I thought maybe it was because I used a flash, so I did it without, but no. I’ve been trying since 2 days before the event ended.
I have my apps ask me to update so I’m still trying before I update, but I’m about to give up! I cannot get the conclusion to start.
WORST EVENT EVER!!!!
I started playing this event on day 1. Start each day at 7:00am and play every 4 hours until 11:00pm. Max out at my neighbor’s every day. Also have lady bot from day 2. I have slightly over 26,000 future bucks and still have 4 prizes that I don’t think I’ll be able to make as I only have 20 robot parts with less than 12 hours left. Used future bucks 2x for about 100 bucks and see no way I’ll be able to use the remainder. What I need is the ability to covert these future bucks into robot parts. Ugh, this sucks. Never have I not finished an event and gotten all prizes available. This sucks!!!!

Hi, I crafted all the items but I cannot use my future bucks. Did I do something wrong?
You need to max out your demos before you can use future bucks. It’s all explained in great detail in the crafting post…

You can only use future bucks to buy more off an item once you’ve crafted the specified number of “demos” of it, using robot parts.
Why do I have burning buildings how do I fix it? Are you do the firehouse quest again?
No it’s part of the Act 3 questline. Finishing the questline will stop them
I finished the quest line, and it never showed me the animation of Homer falling into the black hole. Not sure what I did wrong or how a missed it. Such a let down. Oh well.
I’m EXTREMELY disappointed in this event. I play every four hours, at least four times a day, and max my neighbor visits every day. We have two days left and there is NO WAY I will get enough robot parts to craft the last prize. Finishing the quest line gives me LESS antimatter? Really?
The future bucks conversion is worthless (convert robot parts to future bucks). I have $15,000 in future bucks and really could care less about adding more stuff to clutter up my town (Level one-oh-something). If anything I need to convert future bucks to robot parts. I started playing just after the Easter event, and have completed every event for more than two years. This event was neat but EA completely missed the crafting boat this time around. What a waste of time.
Well, just a tiny bit disappointed about the end of the game. I have two and a half days left to collect bonuts, and we lose the 5 Homers. No more Anti -matter from them. Just from the Sci-fighter and neighbors. 🙁 At 3000 a pop, fat chance…
Ok, I’m the eejit who triggered Return to the Status Quo without clearing a single round of bonuts (shakes fist at sky) and now it’s a whole lot harder to earn antimatter. I’m disappointed that Ladybot also no longer earns antimatter – I think premium event-currency-earning characters should continue to earn event currency for the duration of the event… Or is that just being silly?

I can’t work out how to defeat Mecha Hawk with the poly vac … I’ve managed to survive the 20 seconds but no idea why it isn’t saying I’ve done that task 😥
Because you need to make it the full 30 seconds. Here’s what I do… I tap like mad, with both fingers clearing off regular robots. When he shows up, I hit him repeatedly with the index finger on my left hand…while continuing to tap robots with my right. Then…if needed…I hit the photoflash to clear the rest as time runs out. And yes…I can rub my head and pat my tummy at the same time.

One thumb on each side of the screen worked well for me.
I had this problem also. You have to tap on him multiple times to defeat him. Hope this helps.

Finally, after searching other posts here and also on EA site, I found some mention of the burning buildings in these comments. I’ve had those since this morning sometime and have no idea why. And from the sounds of the comments there really isn’t a “why”. Is that right? Do they just burn until you reach a certain point in the quest? I’m about 1700 away from the last huge robot and am wondering if then as it goes through all the tasks that come after I get that, something will put out the fires. Too bad they didn’t let us use the firemen and fire station again. That was fun…
If I’m wrong and there IS something I should be doing about the fires, would someone please clue me in? Thanks! 🙂

Too bad this last quest line doesn’t earn antimatter too… I don’t think I’ll get any bonuts this act. Tough event.
