Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Popping in real quick with a full list of all the buildings during the Sci-Fi Event that have character tasks there, permanent character tasks.
I’ve had a bunch of requests for one comprehensive list…so here it is 🙂
So the list below breaks out every item available from the event and which character will use it. If it’s not on this list it’s because the building doesn’t have a task there….

Has anyone else noticed the domicile and the mushroom office buildings animation stopped Working? It did for a few days then never again.
The only time they light up for me is if I send someone to do a task there😊
Worked for me a few days ago…I don’t often use that time length though, so I rarely see them.
Hey you missed one its for the sarcastic guy you get at the end of the game. I’ve defiantly seen him in my domicile maybe do odd jobs?
Is there a post like this for ALL the buildings in Springfield, or at least buildings with very limited tasks involved (understanding it would be ridiculous to list every character’s task associated with heavily used buildings like the Kwik-E-Mart)? (Please forgive me if there is a post, I just haven’t found it yet).
I like to try to keep as many buildings animated as I can. I think there are also a few buildings that are activated/animated by a task of only one (are just a few) characters and it’s hard to know or remember which character or task. (e.g., something like, maybe… Bad Dream House possibly? maybe Solid Gold Mansion? Peacock Lounge or Lucky Casino possibly? I’m not sure, because I can never remember the task or who had it, but I think I vaguely remember these buildings (and others) animated at some point. Especially the BDH, that one is awesome and I would love to figure out which character activates it.).

I really love this list! I know we are all busy with the Halloween update now, and I missed the time to request more info like this, but I’d love a list just like this but for all Springfield buildings. For example, Willie & Skinner both have tasks that animate the Convention Center, and Cletus has a task that animates Vesuvius Pizza. I never think of those but would love to see the building animations more!

Rockstar Maggie has a 4 hour task @ the Hyperdome.
Lampwick has a 4 hr task watch TV at Home of Tomorrow…
I have the home of tomorrow and Lampwick, but I don’t have a 4 hour task to watch TV… You sure it wasn’t just a 1 time job for the quest?
There are a few on this list that were update only tasks.
I’ve sent him to watch tv a few times now, the Windows turn from blue to yellow 😊
It would be nice if we had more time options for the employment office… like 7 & 10 hr tasks 😊

Great list Alissa, however, Duffman also has the same 7 hour task as Carl at the future proof home and Declan Desmond has the same 7 hour task as Krusty at the retro style town. If you want to you can mention that Steven Hawking’s 12 and 24 hour tasks are at the Polyvac.

Also, all of the tasks that already took place at the conventional Kwik-E-Marts may also be done at the Newfangled Kwik-E-Mart.
Cool to have these irregular timed tasks. I’d like the ability to tap a building to be able to find and send the relevant character. Like how the Spooky Campfire and Moonbounce work, and similar to the Railyard and Springfield Heights crafting.

Great post! They need to add permanent 2 hour, 6 hour, 10 hour and 16 hour tasks for every character now 😀
And 3-hour tasks, too, for all of those Mensa members! 🙂
The one thing I don’t like about this event is the future bucks. I have over 21,000 and they will go unused. There’s no need to craft anymore than what the demos allow you with the robot parts already. The conversion should have been the other way around; future bucks for robot parts. Totally useless! And I’ve been reading a lot of similar thoughts in the comments. Hopefully we won’t have anything similar in future events.
Besides that, I loved this sci fi event.

I am a new player so all those bucks were really useful for me. I filled half of springfield height with those buildings and flowers. I was lagging behind in treehugging so it really helped me

It’s hard if you don’t remember your email. That’s really the only way for EA to identify you if you contact them to have your game restored (or even moved to a different email)

One question….if someone in the future I wanted to find this list again, other than bookmarking it now or using the Google search, what would be the best way to find it? Is there an area of the site for “data”-type posts, like this one? I know I should know the answer to this by now… 🙄
I try to make areas of the site to find things like this, but I find no one uses them. This will be listed on the Sci-fi event page. But you can also find it by searching Sci Fi Buildings, Sci Fi Tasks etc on the site.
This is a one off, so i wouldn’t group it with other data posts anyway. Because it’s irrelevant to someone starting TSTO 1 month from now…since it’s event specific.
As has been noted, I would love the unemployment office to be updated with 2, 7, and 10 hour tasks.

My faves are the Premium 10 hr tasks paying $525 that Krusty, Lovejoy, Jasper, Rocker Maggie & Disco Stu acquired during this event. I think there’s only 5 as the other freemium 10 hr tasks only pay $350.
Would Bart’s new 7 hr (I think it’s 7hrs) task driving the Mech robot we won in Act 3 fit in this group? Maybe not as it’s not actually associated with a building, but a decoration. RachelS
Are there any plans to update thz employment center with “missing” task lengths like 2 hours or 10 hours?
Personally, I’d love that too, but I think that’s more of a question for EA…
I wish. I’d rather send 10 characters on a 2 or 3 hour task if available than send everyone on a 1 or 4 hour task when I know I’ll be in-game at a specific time.
I figure ifthree characters have a 30 minute task, let me send them all on it at once and send the rest somewhere else. ☺
