Ah Autumn…leaves are falling, that crispness in the air has arrived and there’s a brand new season of TV on! There’s a whole new season of TV shows…and the Simpsons Season 28 aired this past Sunday! To celebrate the Season Premiere EA has launched a fun Episode Tie-In Mini Event in our games.
This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each part of Battle of the Brands you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part. Now that the Season Premiere has aired, the final two items are available to unlock in your Springfield!
So let’s take a look the final prize…and just what happens when you unlock the Springfield Bowl in your Springfield…
First thing I’d like to point out…because many of you are asking…NO there is NOT a new skin for Mr. Burns that comes with this prize. He will have a TASK at the bowl, that will show him in the costume you see on the prize track above…but a skin for Mr. Burns does NOT come with this prize.
The final prize reveals itself to be the revitalized Springfield Bowl! This is a brand new building/decoration for your Springfield. And similar to the Open Air Stage, and other items, characters can preform tasks there. Let’s take a closer look…

What Is It?: Brand new building, like Open Air Stage, for Springfield. Here are some quick details…

So once you’ve unlocked, and built (only takes 6s) the Springfield Bowl there is another little questline that pops up, as well as some dialogue from Mr. Burns explaining what happened…

Burns: Thanks to your donut additions, I was able to acquire Tianjin Mining and Smelting and Donuts. Let this be a lesson to you all. With that, I will un-shutter the mines, open smelting plants, and as my final mercurial act, rebuild the Springfield Bowl!
And then you’ll launch into the Springfield’s Got “Talent” questline….

But much like those late night infomercials…we’re not done yet. There’s more!!
The Springfield Bowl will operate much like the Open Air Stage, or the Opera House. In that characters can perform there to earn more cash and XP. While the building won’t earn regular cash and XP, sending characters on tasks there will.
To start a performance, simply tap on the Springfield Bowl and tap Perform on the dialogue box that appears…
Here’s a look at who can perform at the bowl, and what the Payout for each is…
And as I mentioned above…Mr. Burns’ performance (Dance a Jig) is what makes him go up on stage and perform in his little costume that appears in the prize track. Again this is NOT a new skin for Mr. Burns. It’ll only show up for the (very amusing) performance…
And that completes the details of the Springfield Bowl!

Did anyone try placing the Bowl on the Heights boardwalk? I think that would be a great spot for it but I don’t want to invest in all the tiles if I can’t place it there. And speaking of Heights and placing stuff anywhere there, has there ever been anything said about acquiring more land in the Heights?
Has anybody else noticed that the Springfield Bowl looks like a face?
Great addition. Only problem is I’m stuck on “Make Smithers hold auditions.” The other two are complete but this one sits and it has the red circle with the line through it. Sucks.
I have almost everybody in town auditioning at the moment…. And once the rest are done with their tasks, they will join the others! Love that dominos-like long line of finish marks to click.
I came here to find out if I was missing something about Burns’ little suit. Well, he’s going to be performing a lot ….
Maybe in the future other characters will be added to the task option for this stage; that has happened with the open-air stage. I would LOVE to see Crazy Cat Lady and the cats perform in TSTO.

For all the time it took to complete this mini-event, I would’ve at least expected the Springfield Bowl to come paired with the hilarious outfit for Mr. Burns as a skin/facade/costume/whatever you wanna call it, not just something for his 24-hour performance at the bowl. It just seems lazy on EA’s part. I’d rather have the costume for Mr. Burns than performances that earn a little extra cash than regular character tasks.
Since Chalmers is one of the few characters in the list that doesn’t have a premium skin – he is going to be the one using it 💃
I think that there is a glitch that allowed me to earn the Springfield Bowl before I had collected the gift cards. I started two characters only on this last leg of the quest (because my other characters were simultaneously busy with recycling at the Railyard). I began a second character about 30 minutes later. As soon as my first two characters were finished collecting gift cards, I was awarded the Springfield Bowl.
I already have one character (Superintendent Chalmers) performing.
I love the way it looks, I’m looking forward to seeing some of the acts😂
Unfortunately Burns’ job is the only one that’s not really worth using, at least for those of us who have his Monty Moneybags skin (which I keep him permanently in whenever he’s not recycling metal).
I love this. Gives these guys something to do with there dull lives.

I absolutely adore the Springfield Bowl. I’ve always wanted a performance stage in my town, I really didn’t want to spend donuts on the Open Air Stage so this is perfect. Love Mr. Burns’ task, love the design of the stage, but haven’t seen the Season 28 premier.

So…just to be clear, the characters that can perform tasks there, pretty much do the same tasks, and animations as they would with the same task without the building, and the building itself doesn’t generate income, just takes up space? Ummm, yay?

What the hell does EA have against 8 hour performances!? That’s what I always want to put people on right before bed and is the main reason I use the open air stage as little as I do.
Every time we get a new character that can perform there I cross my fingers for an 8 hour show.
Always disappointed 🙁
Ooh like like fun. Wish I had waited to read this, won’t unlock it until later today.
I love this item but it shows no originality when it comes to the performances. They are all, apart from the hilarious Mr Burns task, are recycled tasks that the character already has! At least the open air stage has some unique tasks (eg. B Sharps, Skinner Sisters)
The episode included a lot of funny and perfect performances that would have fit REALLY well and made me the happiest tapper. Eg:
The Twin magic trick
Skinner and the school showoff
Rodd and Todd bible brothers
Crazy Cat Lady’s opera performance
Jimbo’s balancing act
Nelson and the sock show
Ralph and his stringy talent
… and probably more!!
I understand the vast majority of the above are premium characters in the game but it would give people more sway to buy them! I already have them anyway.
So some of the above tasks that have an origin with a few recycled animations would have been great.
But I do love the design and the Mr Burn’s task makes me giggle so much!

HAPPY TAPPER- The payouts are greater for the same task just by sending them to the Bowl. I wld normally send Jimbo on 12hrs overnight, so I just sent him to happy sack at the Bowl just to get the extra dollar. I wld have loved to see all the above too. Didn’t see the episode but they sound cool…💜X
I haven’t bought Crazy Cat Lady yet, but I really wanted that to be one of the acts. I thought it was adorable, and she’s next on my list once I accumulate the donuts.
I would but Crazy Cat Lady if she came on stage riding her cats and singing opera!!! I loved that!
