Let’s take a look at what Gil’s offering this time around….
When you launch your game you’ll see Gil’s back waving his arms, like he just don’t care….

There are 5+ days till this deal ends, which means it ends Tuesday October 4th….
However, each set of items are only offered for a limited amount of days…the first round leaves on October 1st, when wave 2 launches.

However…before you spend your donuts I’m going to remind you…Halloween is coming. So if you don’t have a lot of donuts to spend, don’t get too tempted because you don’t know what Halloween will bring, premium wise.

I was wondering what happened to the jet engine bikes, and now I know. Given I’m fully on board with KEM farming (as of 3-4 weeks ago) and using my extra donuts on jet engine bikes, this is a no brainer. When the 2nd round of items becomes available, I’ll be spending ALL my donuts (~330 by then) on Jet Engine Bikes. That should net me at least 16 (32% bonus) and take me to ~315% XP multiplier (plus SH bouns).
KNOWING I’ll have no donuts left and KNOWING I will want to buy something premium on this upcoming event is still not going to stop me. I think I need help…

I’m going to pass. My town is already overloaded with commercial buildings, and after the removal/Change of level-ups, the Conform-o-Meter as well as the Bonus percentage have become nearly useless. There isn’t a way to drop in the conform-o-meter (except for vandalism) and at max level, barely anything costs $$$ anymore (except for landmass). It’s always event currency or donuts nowadays.

I’ve been working on saving enough donuts to get the Powers house to place next to the Simpsons. As the Powers house is not a limited time offer I shall be purchasing the “cool brown house” and using my rebate towards the Mapple store as I’ve coveted both for years! So excited for Halloween to be released.
Looking forward to grabbing Bookaccinos. That’s always been on my list of buildings I wanted to see in the game. Just kinda wondering how big it’s going to be
The BBQ Pig is really the only thing tempting me here, The episode were Lisa becomes a Vegetarian is one of my favorite episodes. However I will probably just pass on it and save up for Halloween.
It’s obvious to me that EA is trying to make a few bucks here. Here’s how: They’re hoping that you’ll blow all of your doughnuts on these “deals”, and thus use up most if not all of your doughnuts. Then the Halloween event will be released with all sorts of cool premium stuff that you’ll just have to have. So you’ll plunk down a bunch of real cash for more doughnuts. Natch.
So if you want to save some $, then start farming KEM’s now (if not sooner). 😉
AGHHHHH How on earth am I going to have donuts for halloween and/or black friday/christmas If I have good deals like this happening???? I wanted the cool brown house and at 70 for Homer and the house I won’t be able to pass it up, I also got the Century flower, I’m waiting to get a few more jet engine bikes to. I like a nice Springfield but am an XP hunter and a house farmer. I have the house farm on the bottom(far right) and the extra % items and the track construction stuff in the Heights area and the rest is made to look nice.So many problems…..
What episode did cool homer come from. If I watch it I might want it.

So I had about 400 donuts or so saved up for Halloween. Then I bought the pretty pink Lard Lad and the beach house. I’m back up to 270 and bamn! Now this Gil deal. Ughh. I see myself buying more donuts for Halloween.
I’m totally on the EA hook now. Lol.
I want the Jet bike. I am also tempted on the golf course to go with my big ugly pro shop I regret buying.
I caved and bought the golf course, as I’ve long had just a big patch of green grass behind my country club. They look great together, and even better with Springfield Lake. For 60 donuts, no regrets.

It’s funny how Alternate Cool Homer left the game at the end of the Sci-Fi event, and the actual Cool Homer costume returns in this Gil Deal, a few weeks later.
